I just watched all of the c spine videos you posted. You are SO great at teaching this! I wish you had more videos on image critique. This has been really helpful. Thank you!

It all makes sense now! I learn more from your videos teaching than my actual instructor. You are fantastic! Thank you and please keep the videos coming!

My class is currently on the spine. I was confused with the rotation of what is visualized (IVF or ZG) upside/downside when the C, T, L spine is rotated from lateral to oblique. I have it with the C spine, thx to you! The whole spine is confusing to me and a few classmates I know.

@@agress3555 It stinks because I made a wonderful chart that shows all of this for the full spine but it will not let me post individual photos. I can make a video Friday of the chart though and upload it for you. Until then, I think this is the easiest way to think about it. At every level of the spine each level changes by one and only one variable either part shown, or if the part is shown closest or farthest from the image receptor in the oblique positions (Lateral position you always see the side against the IR). So for example, in the C-spine in AP Oblique you see the intervertebral foramina (IVF) farthest from the image receptor, since you see IVF in oblique you must see z-joints in lateral. So now we go to the t-spine. The variable that changes between these two levels of the spine is anatomy shown, so in AP Oblique T-spine you still see the anatomy farthest from the IR because that was not the variable that changed, however the anatomy was the variable that changed. So instead of IVF you see the z-joints; but again they are still farthest from the IR. Meaning in lateral t-spine that is when you see the IVF because it is the opposite anatomy than what is shown in the c-spine. From the T to L spine the variable that changes is if you see the anatomy closest or farthest from the image receptor. So in AP Oblique of the lumbar you would still see the z-joints (that variable stayed the same) but you now see them closest to the IR (variable that changed). However, in Lateral you always see the side closest so you would still see the IVF closest to the IR.
I know that was a lot, I hope it made sense! If not, again I will make a video Friday and post it but figured in case you had an exam before that if this can help that would be great :)!
