The first view of Rivendell is my favourite part, and the Fellowship is my favourite movie. This was the time I saw all the pictures in my head I’d had for years came to life on the screen.
@@rach3lf204 Agreed! I first read the books in the early 1970s in high school (over and over) long before the movies were dreamed of. Seeing the first film was so magical. BTW, this build is lovely and so full of neat ideas for ways to use pieces creatively.
My favorite one is also the second... It has a nice balance between happy and dark moments. My favorite part starts at minute 1 of the Fellowship and ends with the end of the Return of the King😉 I mean, whats not to love about these films?
Is there such a thing as being "too fantasy-ish"? You are either building in a fantasy style or not. Don't listen to these people Rudi. Some people just need to be jerks for no reason.
This is so whimsical and beautiful! I cannot wait to see the whole project come together next episode :) I loved the movies as a kid but my absolute favourite was playing LEGO Lord of the Rings on my wii!
love this! i had never watched lord of the rings before my husband introduced me to it. we both love alternate universe world-building and philosophical ideas behind them. I love the ending where froto is not the same person and cannot really disconnect from his journey
Amazing job Rudi! Thank you for bringing my favorite game and movies together. You did an incredible job of bringing The Shire to life. Those cinematics are so peaceful.
Your build process is so intricate, Rudi. It looks super weird 90% of the time with pathways floating around and ugly terraforming, and then right at the end, everything comes together and just looks amazing. It's like a magic trick. Shoutout to Wikz' Hobbiton Zoo, it's great! Favourite part of the LotR trilogy: the elves of Lothlorien. The movies nailed what elves are to me: ethereal, beautiful, mysterious, wise, dangerous...
@@RudiRennkamel If you got time check the zoo that i made its on the workshop called Diamond Hill Hotel :-) 81pictures so you dont have to download it :-P
1. I got SO excited when I saw this pop up and couldn’t wait to come home to watch it. I’m always amazed with what you’re able to do in this game. 2. My favorite LOTR in the 2nd movie. So much plot comes from that movie!!! 3. Random question anyone may be able to answer- when I play the game, I can’t do advanced move on wall and roof objects when in the group editing mode of a particular group/building. I’ve messed around on settings but is there something that I’m missing? Love the video and can’t wait for part 2!!!
This is looking so good!!! I absolutely love the Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit too. (Didn't like the Hobbit movies though... I just felt like they didn't capture the charm.) I honestly don't know what my favorite part of the movies is.... There are so many beautiful moments and epic scenes... I think I will always be a fan of the moment the Rohirrim arrive on the fields below Minas Tirith. But it's hard to pick just one part. I think I like Return of the King best of the three films... (I've also only ever watched the extended editions, not the 3-hour versions for theater release.) I was a bit too young to watch them in theaters when they came out, but a few years ago the theater near me did showings as hype for the release of the Hobbit. So I was able to go and watch Return of the King extended edition in the theater, and it was absolutely stunning. I got chills. The soundtrack is still one of my favorite soundtracks of all time, and the trilogy on the whole was just so well done..... Anyway. I could talk about the Lord of the Rings for a long time. My brother introduced me to it, and that was my first venture into epic fantasy, and I never looked back.
Wow man really nice making Bag End. I love the LOTR movies (they're my favorite), my favorite scenes are the Ride of the Rohirim and the parts in Moria.
I am a big LOTR fan. Read the books, watched the films and traveled to New Zealand to visit Hobbiton. I would suggest to build the Prancing pony in between the shire and the "darker" area. It would fit the storyline. Of course Rivendell would be more accurate but that would probably be too complicated.
Rudi, this build is insane! I am a huge Lord of the Rings fan and you have managed to transport me to my younger days when this stuff first came out! When you said November I immediately remembered that my husband and I went on our first date to see Fellowship of the ring. Think I was fifteen or so! Wow! Thank you for the memory, I hadn’t thought about that in a long time! I’m just getting through your movie builds but this one is my favourite of the first three. Have you thought about building the Elvish Castle? The sparkling one built into the side of the rocks with all the waterfalls and stuff? Just a thought. Take Care x
I was reading the Lord of the rings when I was a child, that means 40 years ago. Till this time I`m a fan, I thought it would be impossible to make movies out of the story, but Mr. Jackson made me think otherwise. My favourite movie is the fellowship, means the first of the LOTR movies. I don`t really like the Hobbit movies. Your building is increadible, keep on building. It inspires me a lot.
Thank you so much for making this. It’s amazing. Please release it on the workshop! I’m gussying the second episode is going to be Isengard. The hyenas as wargs would be great
Loved LOTR! *my precious* ....... Such a creative build Rudi 😲😲😲 Thanks for this entertaining and walk down memory lane speedbuild vid during these weird times in the real world! 🤗
So excited to see this today!! It looks great so far and I think sheep are a good choice to climb around the houses. Cant wait to see the other half. :) My husband and I met seeing LotR at a friend's birthday, though I prefer the books.
Yes I vote for Lord of the rings, because I am a big Fan of it. It is my favorite movie and I watched it every yeah!!!🤩🤩🤩 And you watched the movie only one time when it came out 20 years ago?????😱 That is unbelievable😳 About that habitat, i love it verry much. The different Hobbit houses you use for the Viewing gallery and for the shelter are awesome🤩 And i really like that you mentioned Wikz and his hobbiton zoo. He is an awesome creator and I love his stuff!👍
You're insane, but this looks amazing, my goodness. If you're gonna build Isengard's tower, Orthanc, you're doubly insane, and I am very much excited about it. Favorite BOOK was the Fellowship, favorite MOVIE was The Two Towers, and my favorite part in that movie... there's to many parts to choose from. Maybe the funny bit in disk two where Gimli is joking to Eowyn about dwarf women... if not just the entire attack on Helms Deep.
Aardvarks and Chinese Pangolins would make for a good fit for this. Both are small animals that live in borrows, so they are much like hobbits in that way.
This turned out so beautiful and atmospheric mate! Love it. Looking forward to see the 2nd and finished part! And thanks so much for the shoutout! Really appreciate it man :) I might borrow a few ideas from you, heh ;)
