In some continuities, the Transformers are techno-organic, in others they are purely machine from the ground up. I'm writing this with the latter in mind. Lmk what you think of this conversation down below!
Optimus Prime: when we limit the galaxy by a set of rules, we will never fully comprehend it. That is one of the most profound statement I've heard in a long time. You believe you have a strong, firm understanding of how the galaxy -universe- operates that you can set out the rules for anyone to comprehend. But what happens when you face something that goes against the established rules? That contradicts everything you believed at your core to know about life? And it ain't just an exception? The Transformers are silicon based lifeforms. They appear as 'robots' to other forms of intelligent life by that is just a crude and the closest approximation they can place. Its far from accurate. They come into being, they age, and pass. Just longer than most other species. And when you think about it, we are all machines, built by nature or some other higher power, to survive. As the universe is filled with a great many things, there is so many ingredients to work with and so many methods to cook it.
It is interesting that Spock will see the Starfleet juggle with the idea of recognizing androids as lifeforms in the form of Data Soong and the horrors forced organic machine integration thru the Borg. An evil not even the Empire would be able to stop should they appear in the Star wars universe. Optimus Prime would meet Spock and the crew of the Enterprise in the comic Star Trek vs Transformers published by IDW from september 2018 to January 2019.
I can see the Empire supporting Optimus over Megatron. He's easier to deal with for humans, and he's technically the legitimate ruler of Cybertron thanks to him possessing the Matrix of Leadership. So if anything, the Empire would recognize him as the legitimate ruler of Cybertron. Sidious would see too much of himself in Megatron to tolerate the bastard.
@@reubzdubz Exactly. And Palpatine's whole reason for ruling comes from the fact that the Senate legitimized his regime. Just as Optimus' rule comes from the fact that Primus legitimized it with the Matrix of Leadership. Also, Megatron's Decepticon Rebellion against the Cybertron authorities would put a bad taste in any relations they might have with the Empire-the last thing the Empire wants is someone leading by example with rebellions.
hey man, I have a question, what should I do now? My school now has a 2 month break, I cleaned the house, I cleaned my room, and now I have no idea what to do. I know I’m just a stranger but I’m just really bored rn

Optimus is the GOAT of Transformers and seeing him converse with Thrawn and Spock is intriguing. Fascinating.
Spock & thrawn having a conversation with any incarnation of the Doctor would be interesting.
