What’s good news is that the two males which are the fathers of the cubs are on their prime and they are still to hold the pride and the territory for a bit longer and chances of another males coming to infanticide are not high. The only potential enemy to kill them would be hyenas, lucky enough even that chances are low because of the strong structure of the pride. Not much worried about Wild dogs and Leopards. We don’t think at this stage of cubs being able to follow the pride, the other enemies would want to get closer. Please note as part of habituation and relationship building, animals need to be aware of our presence and be familiar with voices of people to reassure trust and respect. As cubs will be kept under cover after birth by their parents away from humans and other lions, they will be very curious of their surroundings once introduced to the outside world, however their reactions to everything is subject to how the adults react. It is our first priority to assess our impact and our positive contribution in the wide. That were do have and had under control ensuring the comfortability of the animals.
