@@jjchan3559 If you care to check that in the Wikipedia article 'Lake Street (Minneapolis),' you'll see that indeed many businesses were damaged or destroyed, but, that's not the same than "the entire Lake Street was burned down to the ground," and, most importantly, the street's buildings have been restored. If you keep googling, you'll find info about restaurants, attractions and activities.
Whatever the smoke lasted, certainly it dissipated by now - under Mr. Walz administration.
It wasn't him the one who killed George Floyd (don't forget the *reason* of the riots), but he was the one who brought the killer to face justice.
Who do you prefer, a VP who promoted justice and rebuilt a street (on top of the other things he has done) or a VP who owes his career to Silicon Valley billionaires, wrote a book that essentially says that poor people are poor because they are lazy, and created a non-profit that did nothing for Ohioans?
It appears Wikipedia knows Vance better than yourself.

It's fun and game for you, but if you look out of your window and see clouds of smoke in a blue sky days after in your beloved city, maybe it's not that fun anymore.

He didn't, he misspoke in 2018 where he was supposed to say weapons of war that I carried he misspoke and said weapons I carried into war. Really much ado about nothing. He's been clear on his service and he served 4 years more than required to retire.

He put in for his retirement (after 25 years) long before his unit was even deployed so your accusation is nothing more than a lie. It's not surprising that the person pushing this garbage narrative, Chris LaCivita, also headlined the infamous Swift Boat Movement in 2004. The GOP keeps playing the same old tired hits because they can't come up with anything new. The fact that they're pushing these lies in the service of a 5-time draft dodger who allegedly suffered from intermittent "bone spurs" isn't lost on many veterans and their families.
He filed run for congress 6 month before his unit was deployed. He retired 3 month before his unit was deployed. He did not abandon his unit. He was no longer in the National Guard by the time that unit was deployed. Stop spreading lies.

@@DimeDoppler That was then. He was a moderate when he was a rep for southern MN. Once he became the governor, he turned into a progressive. His 2022 reelection results with maps are readily available. He won in the Twin Cities, Moorehead which is a college town adjacent to Fargo and counties near Duluth. The rest of the state, rural, were all red. Steve Kornacki did a very honest analysis of his reelection. You can find it here on RUclips. The Democrats want you to think he's rural and Midwest but he's afraid to do anything to upset Ilhan Omar's voter base in MN.
