Finally something which is named for beginners n actually the exercise is for us beginners unlike others who just show how to squat but never teach how to get trained for it♥️
Yesss 😢😢😢 ppl make fun when you say you don't know How to do it they just Show How but don't explain How to start and balance and How its done slowly with time.
Of all the videos I watched so far on squats, yours actually showed me the ease in using the hips. My back was hurting doing them before, I couldn't seem to get the form right. But this showed me to bend more at the hip instead of placing the emphasis on the front of the thigh. It was much smoother... Thanks 👍
Im a senior, so this video is GREAT For ME!!! THANK YOU!! 👍
Thank you for this video. I've looked through a bunch of "beginner" videos and yours is the only one that beginner means just that. I'm definitely going use the chair method until I become more comfortable.
This is tremendously helpful for my chronic knee pain. Thank you so much!!
Really good introduction. I must say I have benifited from your video.
Thank you so much sir!!!
I'm a beginner and your tips sure did make things easier for me
Great video..doc wanted me to start doing squats but I am afraid I will fall with the lymphedema in my foot and arthritis in the feet so this is absolutely easy for me to do with the chair. Thank You
This is perfect for begginers,i have health issues and over weight,i end up falling off balance lol,but this is perfect to get me started with squats,i can do it with a chair, untill i get to grips with balance, thank you
well done- for those with back/shoulder problems- I would suggest holding on to your legs for xtra support-
I wanted to do the Saitama workout just needed to know how to do squats thanks very helpful video
Before anyone panics it's the wrong form!?!... This is a beginners guide to squats.. quite a rare find if I am honest.
Thank you for sharing such a easy way for the beginners, as I am the one.

Thank you! x x
Thanks master. I put 60 squats in chair but next day basement is vibrating how can i handle this pain?
What if you don’t want to lose your hips ?
Exactly! I don’t want to lose mine!
why do I feel it in my legs .
Chareen South As you move repeatedly up and down, your glutes and legs are working together, if you feel it in your legs, you are showing progress. The more you to it, you will not need a chair and you will be able to do squats, and you will not feel it as much in your legs. :)
To echo what others have mentioned, preventing knees from moving forward past the toes actually creates significantly more strain on the knees. The poor advice given in this video is an easy way to pick out an inexperienced trainer.
so is the knee past the toe thing is not good advice? can u provide better advice or point me to a source that does?
Instructions like "knees don't go over your toes" and "slight arch in your back" are not correct. If you walk the stairs, your knees go over your toes. In a squat, as long as you do not feel pain and your weight is on your heels, it is okay if your knees go over your toes. Secondly, your back (spine) should be in a neutral position with a braced core. Make sure to educate yourself before you educate others.
Lastly, your communication skills are good and your video looks great, just make sure your content is up to date.
I’m going to second that in saying that it is INCORRECT to cue individuals to “keep knees behind toes”.
People’s biomechanics are going to vary. Simply put for example, someone taller with longer limbs, particularly the legs, will do more harm than good to themselves if they use that cue. The load will be overly placed on the hips and trunk, and ankle mobility will become neglected.
This is especially Dangerous if they start adding extra load to the movement (i.e. barbell or kettlebell).
I agree with the above comment that your presentation and communication is good, but further education is needed on this matter.
@@coachsepano so if you are a tall person what would be the proper form? is it ok for my knees to go past my toes? can you point me to a better source?
Ben Yes, perfectly okay for knees to go past the toes as long as you don’t have any issues with ankle mobility. Think “chest tall” “hips back”. Imagine if you have writing on your shirt, that the letters should face the imaginary wall in front of you. Press through the middle of your feet.
@@coachsepano My left knee always hurts after 20-50 squats? Any tips?
BluezConcepts Probably has to do with your form. Also you may have lack of mobility in your left ankle compared to the right so extra load may be placed on that left knee. I would do shorter reps in a set and take it slow on the way down to really “troubleshoot”
"Lean"? "Thin out"? But I heard that doing squats helps giving you a bigger butt. Is that not true?
