I actually give quite a bit of props to Hannah during that gaslighting manipulation session with Leo, cause as overwhelmed and confused as she clearly was, she didn’t cave. And she did the thing you should ALWAYS do when someone is trying to quickly pressure you into saying/admitting/agreeing with something. She asked for TIME to THINK. Thats how you win against that style of manipulation. You run away from the fog and clear you head. She came in the next day having things super clear, girl said: “what leo did yesterday was F up”

I have a unique perspective on Tim using his sister's deaths to connect with her. I also lost a sibling when we were teens, and I brought my brother up too often in the first few years afterwards. I agree with your comments about Tim. It's good to have a healthy relationship with your family but to bring them up every time is too mucho, especially his circumstances and even more in moments that should be romance forward. I also agree that he needs help dealing with his grief. Grief is a real thing that left unchecked can be very harmful, especially in a new relationship.

I love your recaps! I watch a couple of people but your recaps are my favorite. I think we have similar thoughts when watching the show and I’m glad you bring it up. As a person who has suffered a great loss I can say I felt you handled the Tim conversation really well. My loss was a little different but I put in some WORK to make sure I wasn’t bringing this person I lost into all my other relationships. Because my loved ones needed to know I continue to love THEM, not just the person I lost. Grief is so hard but it is so important to put in the work in therapy. Not only so we can show up in our relationships but for ourselves too.

Leo pisses me off and the way he spoke to Hannah about "not being compatible and oh Brittany is the one for me" sounded like he di this out of spite? It didn't feel genuine at all. I also did not like when Tim was doing things purposefully to annoy Alex after she told him to stop. I didn't feel any real chemistry between them in that reveal.
Hannah is a kid… and it’s giving insecure. Leo is immature, self-centered and just wants to be the one to do the choosing lol Brittany is definitely a player… but she’s too much of the stereotypical pretty white woman to just settle for anyone because of money. She can find another man with money she doesn’t need Leo. Marissa seems like the type of woman that would date anyone that she feels is into her. Ram seems like a white woman only black guy but I’m glad he’s somewhat open. Tim is a problem… using trauma to manipulate a connection is concerning and somewhat controlling. It’s controlling because how do you push back against someone’s trauma without feeling like you’re the “bad” person. Or, that you have to apologize for their issues that are affecting you. Like no. Also Tim was not attracted to Alex at all. I mean she looked beautiful in her dress and the boobs were boo-be-ing lol so that “I knew you were fine” is basically I’ll smash lol. The way he was examining her face as if he was trying to find something wrong was weird. He doesn’t really want a wife or girlfriend. He seems over bearing and self-centered. That whole I need someone to push back usually means you’re argumentative and think you’re always right. If she sleeps with him all those “feelings” he has will leave. Monica was not feeling Steven at all lol…. She seems to have a meh vibe. Steven seems like he’s the type of guy that’s thinks black women are exotic but not in a fetishization type of way. Like he would be some excited to type homemade jambalaya because or fished catfish and would help you braid your hair lol… (side note, I have no idea why women like men playing in their hair but to each their own 😊)

When Tim gave Alex the bracelet...as much as I like this couple...I felt uneasy for Alex. I felt like too much pressure is being put on her. It was an uncomfortable moment. (And I'm not trying to be insensitive as well).
As much as people don't like Tim, Alex isn't the best person either. At times, she seems controlling and mean. It's crazy how no one is speaking on her attitude. Sometimes, when he's just trying to be playful, she gets too smart and acts mean and cold.
Talked to my fiancé during these Leo scenes and really wanted his opinion on it and I 100% agree: he says that he’s a manipulator and he enjoys the ‚game‘ he was playing. He didn’t care about the women, he just wanted to have drama and options. And on top, he probably wanted to compete with nick and then ‚choose‘ between the two ladies, which is HORRIBLE.
Leo, very manipulative, narcissistic and full of insecurities. Netflix really needs to re-evaluate how they pick contestants. Drama sells, but we don't need Leo's and Uche's, these are very toxic people.

Roxiie, if there is one thing I like to watch more than Love is Blind, it is your reviews and recaps ❤ I have watched further episodes and all I will say is that you are so freakin' astute in how you are reading things it is like you have a crystal ball lol. You pick up on all the obvious stuff but you pick up on the subleties and nuances too that I didn't even notice. You're awesome and I hope you know it. Leo pisses me off and the way he spoke to Hannah about "not being compatible and oh Brittany is the one for me" sounded like he di this out of spite? It didn't feel genuine at all. I also did not like when Tim was doing things purposefully to annoy Alex after she told him to stop. I didn't feel any real chemistry between them in that reveal.

Tim is a problem… using trauma to manipulate a connection is concerning and somewhat controlling. It’s controlling because how do you push back against someone’s trauma without feeling like you’re the “bad” person. Or, that you have to apologize for their issues that are affecting you. Like no. Also Tim was not attracted to Alex at all. I mean she looked beautiful in her dress and the boobs were boo-be-ing lol so that “I knew you were fine” is basically I’ll smash lol. The way he was examining her face as if he was trying to find something wrong was weird. He doesn’t really want a wife or girlfriend. He seems over bearing and self-centered. That whole I need someone to push back usually means you’re argumentative and think you’re always right. If she sleeps with him all those “feelings” he has will leave.
Monica was not feeling Steven at all lol…. She seems to have a meh vibe.
Steven seems like he’s the type of guy that’s thinks black women are exotic but not in a fetishization type of way. Like he would be some excited to type homemade jambalaya because or fished catfish and would help you braid your hair lol… (side note, I have no idea why women like men playing in their hair but to each their own 😊)

Tim needs to be in grief counseling and I wish everyone would do that when they lose someone close. If I hadn’t been in therapy after losing someone close, I would be a mess. People really need to heal.

Ashley did NOT like what she saw when she saw Tyler. She did not want to kiss him and sat there with her arms crossed. He’s DONE.
When Tim gave Alex the bracelet...as much as I like this couple...I felt uneasy for Alex. I felt like too much pressure is being put on her. It was an uncomfortable moment. (And I'm not trying to be insensitive as well).
As much as people don't like Tim, Alex isn't the best person either. At times, she seems controlling and mean. It's crazy how no one is speaking on her attitude. Sometimes, when he's just trying to be playful, she gets too smart and acts mean and cold.

Talked to my fiancé during these Leo scenes and really wanted his opinion on it and I 100% agree: he says that he’s a manipulator and he enjoys the ‚game‘ he was playing. He didn’t care about the women, he just wanted to have drama and options. And on top, he probably wanted to compete with nick and then ‚choose‘ between the two ladies, which is HORRIBLE.

Completely agree with your thoughts on Tim. He needs to grieve and work on himself before entering a marriage. What I find unhealthy and a bit creepy is that the relationship/feelings you have with your fiance is completely different than the relationship you have with a sibling. So to connect the two is really odd.
