Hi, cherry, I Occasionally go for long rides. I own FZ150. Planning to upgrade bike. My cruzing speed is 85to120kmph. Will FZ25 will be comfortable? My criteria is , there should not be any vibration, engine should not strain in those mentioned speeds. Since I am planning to upgrade my bike I have thoughts on dominor or himalayan which suits my budgets and mileage (30 to 35avgg) However being an hardcore Yamaha fan, I I missing 6th gear in FZ25. Hi cherry I am using RE only. RE is best choice for long ride. But as per requirement RE is not right choice. Bz sudden pickup is biggest issue in RE. Even am also facing this issue. I reached upto 120 KMPH when I ride from Chennai to Madurai with my wife 3 times we are more comfortable reached 7 hours with 5 breaks. But I am not okay with sudden pickup. You may go with dominar sudden pickup I hope u know very well. I heard intercepter performance is good. Anyway best of luck for your new partner my brother
Boss RE interceptor is not a good tourer. Himalayan is a good tourer. If u have time. Please follow " itchy boots " youtuber. She completed 35k in that bike. Beauty is she travelled all alone with himalayan starting her ride from delhi to netherland.. KTM 390 is purely performance machine. It also generates good amount of vibration through out the range. If u r pleased enough for KTM then try 390 adventure which is a good tourer machine... Never ever try benelly, hero and tvs... Also about dominor, value for money. But realiabilty aspect is not so great. Depends on your budget, if u can afford to change the machine after 3+ years, sure u can try dominor. Just my opinion. Choose wisely. Good luck cherry.
