👆🏼 This! I did the same but for PS1 (it's the version I played; didn't even know a Dreamcast version existed). I'm playing it right now tbh, comparing that version with this LP
Love all disney games from that era, i had the ps1 version for this, same as emperor's new groove and toy story 2, and for PC I had donald duck, tarzan and a bug's life.
Holy Jesus the GRAPHICS. I was obsessed with this game when I was little, but I had it on PS1. Anyone that had the PS1 version will know the graphics were… wonky. The textures would move, there was a ton of clipping going on. Things looked a little jagged. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not particularly bothered with the PS1 graphics- in fact I find them nostalgic. But seeing what was probably my favorite PS1 game look like this honestly makes me so emotional. I’m honestly slightly tempted to buy a dreamcast just to experience it firsthand.
Me too! I was born in 2001... played that game on my PS1 since i was 5 years old, and still love it!!! But i never knew there was an Dreamcast version of it, until today. The graphics are much better, the draw distance too. One thing i hated in that version was the Underground level music that's not the same as the PS1 one. I prefer the PS1 version of that track.
Do it, you’ll never meet anyone that regrets owning a Dreamcast! Plus the majority of the console is 480p native and holds up shockingly well. The issue with the PS1 is there’s no “Z” buffer, that’s why the textures are always jumping all over the place. They don’t really “know” exactly where there supposed to be xD
Bought this on a nostalgic whim cause it was on that PlayStation Jampack... discovered the ice level it takes place in is weirdly like 75% through the game; they must've thought it was a great level or something, or maybe they wanted a harder level to appeal to an older audience.
this game was pretty solid. it has cool elements. I thought the levels were neat.. nothing award winning, but good enough. The load screens are cute too.
The only thing I don't like in the DC version is the carnival level song, afterwards the graphics are more beautiful than on PS1. As a curious fact Malcolm is Domino the other puppy.
I played the PS1 version. Dang, the Dreamcast version has much better graphics! The difference is obvious in a level like Piccadilly. The gameplay and audio are exactly the same though (both even use the term "action button"), except for some very minor differences in visuals and sound effects.
How so? I played the PC version (which seems to be derived from the PS1) and it looks pretty much the same, minus the lack of floating point precision causing the polygons to jitter.

👆🏼 This! I did the same but for PS1 (it's the version I played; didn't even know a Dreamcast version existed). I'm playing it right now tbh, comparing that version with this LP
You could buy it on eBay, it's pretty cheap

I loved this game as a kid ^^
Had the PC version.

Mine was the PS1
Same here!
Love all disney games from that era, i had the ps1 version for this, same as emperor's new groove and toy story 2, and for PC I had donald duck, tarzan and a bug's life.
I'd have to say, for a children's game it was both fun and challenging. I could remember being around 10 yrs old investing hours in game play
Agreed. I like it alot, it's a very competent Spyro clone.
omg i loved this game so much. i’m so happy this is on youtube
It is a solid platformer and fun to play even today.
Nostalgia x1000, loved playing this in my childhood! 😭
Nostalgia

Niice! I so miss the days of demos and demo discs xD
My childhood. dreamcast and all. ❤️
Geez man I remember playing this when I was little beings back memories
I loved this game as a kid....and today😍
It still holds up as a casual platformer even today.
Played this on the PlayStation, but damn was this fun.
This was a hidden gem. Solid platformer.
Spyro The Dragon with a Dalmations skin. It's cool as heck!
this game was pretty solid. it has cool elements. I thought the levels were neat.. nothing award winning, but good enough. The load screens are cute too.

Thunderbolt in Space! The classic series from the 1960s gets a new look for the new millennium... In SPACE!
Still the same dippy Kanine Krunchies commercial from 1961, though.
Din't even know a DreamCast version existed until 24 years after I played it on the PlayStation.
I love this game even when I was a kid. I always liked playing as Oddball.
30:31 one of the most funny moments
I didn't know Malcolm from Malcolm in the Middle was in this game.
Yeah. LOL! As a Dalmatian.
I'm trying to find the mini game where you raced a rat or something. I can't remember, it was so long ago
Is it the one where you move on a ton of ice? That one's called Ice Race. You race two other toys but you can play as Chester the rat.
