I both like and dislike this score. I dislike it since it pays little to no attention to the themes previously established. Why aren’t we hearing Junkie XL’s theme for Batman? Why do we get no callbacks to Man of Steel? The one thing I love in scores more than anything is consistency. You give characters themes, you should stick to them and all too often that’s not the case. With that being said, this is a decent score. Would I prefer the new themes? Yes. But on a visceral level, hearing the classic 89’ Batman theme again after all these years is damn awesome to hear, and a lot of the score is really good. Would I buy this? Probably not on its own, I’ll have to wait until the actual movie comes out. I myself would rank the DCEU scores like so: Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Suicide Squad. So yeah, I like it. Would’ve preferred Junkie XL to stay but hey, could do a lot worse than Elfman.
I agree completely. The soundtrack is OK and I'm pretty sure if we had listened to this BEFORE than previous wonderwoman, man of steel "old" soundtracks, it would have been much worst...the problem of course is the continuity. Or well, the lack of it. But I see they understood the dark tone (in music too apparently) didn't work...its a shame, they could have done a "mix" instead of completely new themes: like taking the bvs and ww soundtracks and..."elfman" them...
yeah, I love elfman, but this gives me flashbacks to all the cheesy superhero movies of the 90s. It sounds like The Shadow had a baby with Batman and Robin, but cleaned up and updated with a touch of Avengers, a sprinkle of something new and then BRIEF moments of classic batman superman. It's adventurous and bombastic and goofy, but gone is the awe and contemplation of MoS, and BvS, the badassery of WW. Some people hated that the DCEU took itself too seriously, but that's why I loved it. Some of the very best comics took themselves too seriously. This sounds like adventure film music... not the amazing intensity of the past DCEU scores at all. I really wish Zimmer would come back. Pure magic.
Fredinator84 right, but just you can retread your old material doesn't mean it always fits the new feel without some adaptation. While in know this is indeed adapted, that cheesy 90s campy feel is still there.
Since the intention was to rescue some of the old tracks, such as the 90's Batman movie and John Willian's Classic Superman theme, I think it would have been cool if they had also inserted something from the opening of the animated series of the Justice League. It would be epic!
After listening to this score twice, I have to say I'm starting to enjoy it more. It's not fantastic, but it's not absolutely horrible, either. While I am very disappointed that Zimmer didn't score the film, and that Elfman didn't preserve the series' music continuity very well, I feel the score does hold up fairly well on its own. It introduces some nice motifs, and honestly, hearing the old Batman theme again is awesome (moments like 31:34). Some may think it's out of place, but I feel it fits this iteration of the character. However, at 21:10, Elfman actually recycles his theme from "Hulk". There was undoubtedly some laziness on his part. On the other hand, hearing the original Superman theme feels a bit odd - I love that theme, but the joyousness that Williams put into it doesn't fit this version of the character. Zimmer's amazing theme means so much in this series, and Elfman didn't reprise it once. Elfman did briefly reprise a trumpet rendition of Wonder Woman's theme, which was nice, but I personally expected to hear it a little more. And it made me even more confused as to why he didn't reprise other themes. I would've loved to have heard Zimmer score the film, considering the amazing work he's done for the series. Hopefully in the future, the themes he composed will be reprised more.
Zimmer was out of ideas for creating new musics for superheroes, and he didn't want to go on with this business, which is something most artists wouldn't care about and they'd keep running for the easy money, but Hans Zimmer isn't this kind of people.
The issue was not that he was "running out of steam". He already scored Batman once, in Nolan "Dark Knight" trilogy and did not want to rehash same old story. So he kept to a Superman side.
I love Elfman but I think swapping out Hans Zimmer and Junkie for this was a bad idea. Elfman's orchestration is quite traditional and the lightning-fuelled modern sound of MoS and BvS really fit the DCEU.
anyone notice how the flashs theme sounds almost EXACTLY like Blake neelys Fastest man alive and Always late, but put together playing at the same time??
Damn I can´t wait to hear Batman´s entrance in theaters! Sounds great! And Supes! I was actually hoping them to keep the new themes but also hearing a little of the old ones

I listened to this for an hour and 30 minutes and i already forgot all about it, while BvS took only 5 seconds to blow my mind with Beautiful Lie. I waited so long for JL OST and this is what i get? a beautiful lie indeed...
I watched JL first before listening to the entire soundtrack. And I was blown away by how shitty and emotionless the score bring to the film. Certainly flat. To make it worse, on some "shocking" and badass scene, the soundtrack in the background is just making it super flat. And what the hell, you can certainly tell the Avengers tune is all over the place. Seeing Justice League member with Avengers tune is strange, weird, and disgrace as fuck man
The composer signs an extensive and intense creation that follows the usual patterns in films based on DC comics. Take advantage of some of the preexisting themes of the heroes protagonists, not only for the reference, and incorporate new themes. Among them, the main theme, a powerful simple and elementary melody but efficient and retentive, which has well imprinted the footprint of Elfman. Although with results above the average and a more classic and less industrial general tone, this is a work more thought to emphasize and magnify than to relate. His dramatic parts are the most brilliant, both the themes applied to the sentimental and especially the dark and sinister music for evil, with remarkable choirs and almost operatic sense. A great BSO that without being historical is a return to the classic and epic. To the orchestral and essential that had been so lost with the canned and prefabricated music that there is lately, that even if they fulfill (and I clarify that Zimmer's compositions for the DCU I liked) lacked the musical soul that characterized the soundtracks of this genre. This return to the orchestral and classical was already glimpsed with the previous composition of Gregson-Williams for Wonder Woman. Elfman does a great job, that although it is not to throw rockets and much less the best level of the composer.
I think it's kinda funny people complaining about how Elfman is re-using his own tracks he did for other movies, w/o knowing that Hans Zimmer does the same thing with his compositions since Pirates of the Caribbean (that rips off Gladiator and Crimson Tide soundtracks), followed by Crysis 3 theme that is a rip-off from The Dark Knight and 12 Years a Slave that rips off Inception. But, was I expecting much more? Yes! Am I disappointed? Not really Let's watch the movie and make our opinions after that.
It is possible the movie could use tracks from MOS but just not integrate them into the new original music. Kinda like how Alien Covenant had the Prometheus theme pop up. The damn trailer had an MOS theme in it which would be weird not to use. I’ll reserve judgment till I see the final film. I hope they don’t erase those themes.
That's the thing confusing me in listening to this soundtrack. They integrated a varied MOS theme so well in the trailers why would they not include it into the soundtrack? I hope it pops up with his return...
Goodbye My Son, Flight, Arcade, Beautiful Lie, Their War Here, Do You Bleed, Day of the Dead. Nothing on this soundtrack can match any of the tracks I mentioned. The best thing on here is Come Together. Now I love this version of the song, but it should not be the best track on the first ever JL movie soundtrack. Disappointing.
I agree. Although, we must keep in mind that we haven't seen how this soundtrack fits with the movie. It may actually work. I'm really hoping it does cuz on its own, it's a disappointment in my opinion.
ToshiUchiha7 yeah I think the music used in the trailer like the 4 minute one and the hope never dies where done by Junkie XL because they mix the BvS soundtrack into that music but after he left they decided not to use his music in the main soundtrack. This sound track is all Danny and I heard that he is not the kinda of guy to collaborate with others. Shame that they made him leave that was probably my only gripe with Whedon him replacing Junkie XL for Danny.
Yes it will! In my opinion, Justice League will kick The Avengers a**. Sorry, I don't curse. Let's say, Justice League will kick The Avengers butt. In my opinion.
HANS ZIMMER'S SUPERMAN THEME IS IN THE MOVIE! Only for a few seconds!!! But it's in there! It's called "Krypton" (Man of Steel soundtrack) in the credits. *SPOILERS AHEAD* It's at the birthing chamber scene.
Elfman is brilliant as a traditional and orchestral composer. That however doesn't take away from a composer being brilliant at simply making memorable motifs and themes even if they were simpler. I don't feel either Elfman or Zimmer should receive slack for their respective styles and approaches. It's really a matter of taste. I enjoyed what Elfman composed in the Burton Batman series. However, in the modern day superhero film, I got used to what Zimmer was doing for DC and loved it. From Man of Steel to Batman v Superman/Wonder Woman Theme, I loved that direction for DC. To me it was fitting for these sets of characters and a change from Marvel. However, while Elfman's style still may be unique as compared to Marvel, I can say I miss Zimmer's influence. I enjoyed this soundtrack as I do much of his work. But I do miss the memorable nature of Zimmer's style and consistency of their themes. The only one I can understand them finding a need to evolve was Batman if they're going in a more "hopeful" direction. However, I felt they could have "built" on it rather than replacing it all together. I however wouldn't have expected Elfman to abandon his iconic Batman theme for Junkie/Zimmer's. I was never head over heels with Superman's classic theme even though I thought it was brilliantly composed.
Everyone keeps bashing on the soundtrack of this film ; keep in mind this is what justice league is supposed to sound like more on trumphets...exciting sounds etc...
Fiquei com o mesmo sentimento. Ficou bem Marvel. Trilha que não possui NENHUMA música marcante. Como vimos em Homem de Aço e Barman vs Superman. Lamentável.
Im truly dissapointed with the decision of removing Junkie XL, it was very special to have that continuity in the score between man of steel and bvs, it was actually brilliant, and they just vanished the whole thing. In BvS, the score was the standout for me,that score in context with the movie, made for me, the best movie i had seen ever, and now it just sound like a copycat from marvel movies with shades of classics dc movies. The only theme that have grown on me its hero's, but because ressembles a little bit zimmer and junkie xl. I really wanted dc to have this special universe with its own unique themes, but fuck now i just hope this score bodes in well within the movie, which i really doubt
Still find it funny how most people forgot how Justice League sounds like before Zimmer and Junky X.L.'s score for BvS, with the Justice League score always using the triumphant scores and stuff. And I get it the Danny Elfman Batman theme and the John Williams Superman theme are a thing of the past and don't work well in this universe, but we're only a week ahead until the movie is released just wait until how the score fits in with the movie, yes I actually like Danny Elfman's score for Justice League.
I can't be the only one who thinks this soundtrack is profoundly uninspired, right? Like, I've loved the DC movies so far and I've loved the music (minus Suicide Squad's) but this soundtrack puts me to sleep. The old Superman and Batman themes are wasted in their tracks, Wonder Woman's theme sounds less energetic, and the rest of the gang barely even gets any attention at all. Bring back Junkie; that guy knows how to compose a heart-pounding score that sounds great even when not accompanied by it's respective movie! This though is just so generic; I'm confident that the movie will still be good (as, again, I actually really like all of the DCEU movies) but this is just a massive disappointment. Ruined my day, honestly.
The Story of Steppenwolf undoubtedly is impressive, and has its nuances to the tone of BVS, it's a great job, congratulations I hope that Junkie XL Hans o James Newton Howard returns for a sequel of the hand of the greatest film director of super heroes, mr. ZACK SNYDER. A big hug from Latin America, COLOMBIA
It's a shame, I did not recognize it, but you know how the soundtracks are, surely in the movie have arrangements where they include it, there is much more Elman's Batman than anything else superman, a couple of Williams moments, but from work of Zimmer and XL little or nothing to be... separating these things, this album starts to taste more and more each time I repeat it, I'm finishing my third round hahaha
I wonder if *some* of you are hating this soundtrack for the sake of popularity, and not by your personal opinion. That's what it looks like with some of these negative comment with more likes than they deserve. Ya know, the whole "it's cool to trash talk it" trend.
MASSEFFECTfan101 Trend? From where? It's not like people are posting on instagram or twitter or tumblr complaining about the music of the film. People came here to check out the soundtrack hoping for something incredible and being letdown.
If Whedon wanted to bring Danny Elfman to do the soundtrack, that is OK, but they should have kept either Zimmer or Junkie XL on as a consultant for this soundtrack. Soundtrack was nice, but throwing out the themes from MoS and BvS was a huge mistake.
SHIFTS IN THE MARKETPLACE! I completely agree. I would be extremely disappointed if the Man of Steel theme doesn't play in the movie. That's this Superman's theme. We have to complete his journey with that theme.
ToshiUchiha7 Agreed. It only makes sense for it to play. I was hoping for a mix between John Williams Superman theme and MoS theme. But I guess maybe not?
This soundtrack proves that Danny Elfman is far behind to reach the level of John Williams or Hans Zimmer. Junkie XL was fired from this movie. I think he could bring something unique in these music.
In context it's not that bad, but it wasn't bad before, just not as masterful as Zimmers DCEU work. Elfmans scores are playful and quirky. I didn't want that for a DCEU movie due to tone. The movie does fit it rather well, for better or worse, but it's still not as grand as I'd hoped for. The intro song is really great though.
I dig the score, especially "The Final Battle" track. It's good to hear those iconic Batman & Superman themes again. Can't wait to hear them on the big screen!
I just wish he would use them once and give us back the equally iconic themes for the DC Films Superman and Batman. Changing the theme all the time, is why only the Guardians and Avengers have a unique theme and no one remembers the themes for the individual heroes.
Adeel of Steel I agree with you. Every time I listen to "Everybody Knows" and see how it connects to the movie, It shows how the world has lost hope after Superman dies, but still a good song though. And those classic themes for superman and batman in this movie was perfect.
Steven Price did a fantastic job on the Suicide Squad OST and I'm sand here's not getting enough credit for it. Other than that, I've gotten use to this album. Still hyped for this movie!! ALL IN!
I don´t know why but most of the songs sound cartoonish to me, or like they belong in a star wars movie, maybe for dc I got used to songs like the ones in the BvS or WW soundtrack, those sounded more "epic" maybe, at least to me
At first I really hated this soundtrack, but after listening to it more It's starting to grow on me, it just takes a bit to adjust because of how different it is from the soundtracks to previous DCEU movie. This has a major JL/JLU cartoon vibes, so I kinda like it. Just got to wait to hear it with the movie to have better context to feel the emotion in it. Can't wait to see Zack Snyder's vision complete on the 17th!!!
Man... the one thing I was hoping being Elfman in was having overly theme like theme that holds the universe together. MCU doesnt have that much besides a couple themes here and there.
He didn't retire. He's just a desperate liar seeking attention. Now here we are in 2018 and he is scoring the next X-Men film. Don't trust a single word said by Mr. Zimmer.
this is kinda sad man seriously since i like Danny Elfman he's like one of my fav movie composers but sadly this JL album was a let down, no offense but i have to agree this was indeed very generic and dull as hell, even with his iconic Batman theme and his modified version of John Williams Superman theme it still didn't do any justice man, i don't think Elfman was right for this movie, they should've let Junkie XL composed it seriously cause at least we are guaranteed to hear the mixture of his style and of course version of the master composer of modern movies Hans Zimmer as well but nah WB & Joss Whedon decided to fuck it up anyways so nothing we can do about it lol
Every comment I see here. Is a bunch of crybabies for Hans and Junkie XL. Dude, Elfman is the shit for Batman the animated series and Batman 1989 film. All superhero themes are genetic, even if somebody makes a new one. It's like the genetic superhero landing, the genetic superhero appearance with it's theme song. So, it doesn't matter if this is genetic, if you were an old time fan of the old superhero films before the DCEU universe. You should like it more than loving it.
no man of steel no Batman theme from BvS not enough ww theme ... awful no justice league inlimited... Junkie XL was better option... Zack Snyder we need you, come back ! ¬¬
Judge the score for what it is - not what you want it to be. By that measure, I feel this is a surprisingly solid orchestral score that sounds like it was composed by Danny Elfman. In other words, exactly as advertised. :-)
Danny decided to make a Rubik’s cube puzzle/science project out of the score so that it would be interesting for him to work on and somehow by doing that it made it unlistenable to some people.
So sorry, but I've got to admit. I'm a little disappointed. I think that one of the greatest things of both MoS and BvS was the original soundtrack by Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL. Epic, dark, emotional. I know that the DCEU was criticized for being too dark, so I can understand they wanted to give the franchise a lighter tone, but I am afraid they had to sacrifice some epicness in the process. Also, they completely wiped out any reference to the previous installments. I do hope the movie won't be a disappointment, too. #ALLIN #teamDC
.....i loved the New Man of Steel theme, i hum that tune from time to time. I like the old theme as well, but after 30 years, it's time to move forward but not forget the past..all of this, just doesn't stick in my head for some reason.

Elfman is great, but Hans Zimmer man....Hans Zimmer was perfect for that job. Especially in Man of Steel...
He should finish the DC trilogy.
João Thiago Carvalho apparently not. You could hear him running out of steam in BvS, hence his needed partnership with another composer
Too bad that Hans retired from the "superhero business" meaning he doesn't want to compose any soundtracks for a superhero film.
Verdade. Não se compara a trilha marcante de Homem de Aço. :(
Zimmer was out of ideas for creating new musics for superheroes, and he didn't want to go on with this business, which is something most artists wouldn't care about and they'd keep running for the easy money, but Hans Zimmer isn't this kind of people.

WTF you talking about
I was right! Sigrid made a version of Leonard Cohen's music. Zack did an introduction as he did in Watchmen and Dawn of the Dead.
Well yes but actually...no.
Damn I love Barry's theme song. It sounds very similar to the TV show version but also different. Good job Danny!
I love Elfman but I think swapping out Hans Zimmer and Junkie for this was a bad idea. Elfman's orchestration is quite traditional and the lightning-fuelled modern sound of MoS and BvS really fit the DCEU.

I enjoyed Justice League for what it was. It's an okay movie. I did feel the score was one of the stonger elments of the film.
Listening during quarantine 2020..
Damn I can´t wait to hear Batman´s entrance in theaters! Sounds great! And Supes! I was actually hoping them to keep the new themes but also hearing a little of the old ones
I love this movie and I love this soundtrack, so many classic references, I can't wait for the dvd!
controversial opinion but the soundtrack is great

15:26 poco después de la tonada de el tema de *Wonder Woman* se escucha algo similar a el tema principal de *The Avengers*

This is really nice.
Honestly, it’s not that great
53:12 The greatest thank you to the composers for the original sound from Batman 90's!!! Ah, nostalgia...
1:20:49 THERE IT IS - THE BATMAN
parcog ik but it's weird to see been alfleck using this Batman theme for me doesn't feel the same without Michael Keaton but oh well lol
I needed more of this, but he didn't include enough of that classic motif.
1:23:24 avengers ?
I can't believe the comments on this soundtrack, Danny Elfman has done great soundtracks for movies. And this one sounds epic like all of them do.
Not every superhero film has to sound like HZ. I mean it is nice to hear orchestration that is not covered with synths and metal percussion.
I listened to this for an hour and 30 minutes and i already forgot all about it, while BvS took only 5 seconds to blow my mind with Beautiful Lie.
I waited so long for JL OST and this is what i get? a beautiful lie indeed...
sliovic That’s what happens when you expect the same style from a different composer. Shame you can’t appreciate Elfman
Oh yeah, i'm sorry i expected the same theme in the third movie of the same trilogy.
sliovic
We can't all have the same taste. In my opinion, Elfman's score is great and it catches JL's spirit perfectly.
Yeah that's because you watched the movie first

The damn trailer had an MOS theme in it which would be weird not to use. I’ll reserve judgment till I see the final film. I hope they don’t erase those themes.
That's the thing confusing me in listening to this soundtrack. They integrated a varied MOS theme so well in the trailers why would they not include it into the soundtrack? I hope it pops up with his return...
LOL THEY ACTUALY DID XD
Whoaaa.... the batman theme from the OG Batman movies??????
Goodbye My Son, Flight, Arcade, Beautiful Lie, Their War Here, Do You Bleed, Day of the Dead. Nothing on this soundtrack can match any of the tracks I mentioned. The best thing on here is Come Together. Now I love this version of the song, but it should not be the best track on the first ever JL movie soundtrack. Disappointing.
I agree. Although, we must keep in mind that we haven't seen how this soundtrack fits with the movie. It may actually work. I'm really hoping it does cuz on its own, it's a disappointment in my opinion.
I was hoping to find the music used in the hope never dies promo.
Edsel Calleja Me too. I was looking forward to hearing the full version of that rendition of Ideal of Hope. It's a shame really.
Edsel Calleja I really hope that's not the case. I don't want to be disappointed with this movie's OST.
Everybody knows justice league will kick ass !!! Can't wait
Yes it will! In my opinion, Justice League will kick The Avengers a**. Sorry, I don't curse. Let's say, Justice League will kick The Avengers butt. In my opinion.
43:34, there it is. Best music in the movie and a funny scene!
Mr. Elfman, welcome back to the world of Batman! It's a real treat to hear those motifs again!
This part of RUclips didn't age well.
43:30 - best part
Nice to hear some real melody and form here instead of the mood music form the earlier films.
Everyone keeps bashing on the soundtrack of this film ; keep in mind this is what justice league is supposed to sound like more on trumphets...exciting sounds etc...
Doesn't hit you in the feels like BVS soundtrack
Saudades hans zimmer!!
Hans doesn't want to compose superhero film's soundtracks.
Fiquei com o mesmo sentimento. Ficou bem Marvel.
cant wait to see it,,
43:32 - 43:49 FLASH AT FULLSPEED AROUND SUPERMAN WHILE HE HOLDS AQUAMAN AND WONDER WOMAN AND FOLLOWS BARRY WITH HIS EYES SLOWMOTION. FUCK YES.
The first opening song gives me chills
Someone plz rescore the movie with Hans and Junkie XL theme when it comes out on Blu-ray
Really like the justice league theme hope junkie comes in later and remixes it into his style
It works so well together
Nah
Sigrid is really good. She needs more fan's.
I love it :') I don't care if its by someone or not . as long as it evokes emotion and the scene I enjoy it.
Ricardo Otero What time is that?
18:11 (The Story of Steppenwolf)
Ricardo Otero Ok thank you. Have you heard An Ideal of Hope yet in this soundtrack?
It's a shame, I did not recognize it, but you know how the soundtracks are, surely in the movie have arrangements where they include it, there is much more Elman's Batman than anything else superman, a couple of Williams moments, but from work of Zimmer and XL little or nothing to be... separating these things, this album starts to taste more and more each time I repeat it, I'm finishing my third round hahaha
Ricardo Otero Well for me so far I'm dissapointed with this soundtrack. I've only liked one song so far.
MASSEFFECTfan101 the mayority hates this score because it's "old school" and isn't as modern as zimmer and junkie xl
Gracias men
sounds like a Tim Burton's Batman 3rd movie
Try and listen to the avengers soundtrack it’s amazing
Why is this one 1:34 andnsome of the others are 1:41. What is missingnin this one?
If Whedon wanted to bring Danny Elfman to do the soundtrack, that is OK, but they should have kept either Zimmer or Junkie XL on as a consultant for this soundtrack. Soundtrack was nice, but throwing out the themes from MoS and BvS was a huge mistake.
Can someone let me know which song plays An Ideal of Hope... Thank you.
None of them unfortunately. I'm disappointed by this but apparently, a rendition of the theme plays in the movie, so let's not give up hope just yet.
ToshiUchiha7 Gosh damn you Danny. I hope you are right. I hope I can hear it play at least once. Because that's Supermans theme now.
SHIFTS IN THE MARKETPLACE!
You never know. Regardless, I just want the movie to be epic. I'm hyped!
54:40 Superman's theme :3
This soundtrack proves that Danny Elfman is far behind to reach the level of John Williams or Hans Zimmer. Junkie XL was fired from this movie. I think he could bring something unique in these music.
In context it's not that bad, but it wasn't bad before, just not as masterful as Zimmers DCEU work. Elfmans scores are playful and quirky. I didn't want that for a DCEU movie due to tone. The movie does fit it rather well, for better or worse, but it's still not as grand as I'd hoped for.
The intro song is really great though.
1:20:48
the intro theme of justice league unlimited is not here?
Mi-mi-mi Gen is so radical! Grant the guy some chance...it is enjoyable!!!
I dig the score, especially "The Final Battle" track. It's good to hear those iconic Batman & Superman themes again. Can't wait to hear them on the big screen!
where is the final battle score?
I just wish he would use them once and give us back the equally iconic themes for the DC Films Superman and Batman. Changing the theme all the time, is why only the Guardians and Avengers have a unique theme and no one remembers the themes for the individual heroes.
its good to hear avengers and spiderman in it too
Adeel of Steel
Adeel of Steel I agree with you. Every time I listen to "Everybody Knows" and see how it connects to the movie, It shows how the world has lost hope after Superman dies, but still a good song though. And those classic themes for superman and batman in this movie was perfect.
And look this is a MOVIE soundtrack, we have to see how it plays in the movie before judging the entire soundtrack beforehand
It catches perfectly the heroism needed for this movie! I love it!! Thanks Danny!
Steven Price did a fantastic job on the Suicide Squad OST and I'm sand here's not getting enough credit for it. Other than that, I've gotten use to this album. Still hyped for this movie!!
ALL IN!
I don´t know why but most of the songs sound cartoonish to me, or like they belong in a star wars movie, maybe for dc I got used to songs like the ones in the BvS or WW soundtrack, those sounded more "epic" maybe, at least to me
This sounds like a pure Justice League soundtrack! It reminds me the 2001 cartoon! Thanks Danny!
Jim M yes sir. It’s has themes from Justice League and Justice League Unlimited along with The adventures of Superman and Batman. Pure Gold.
I am going to love it! Thanks guys.
At least WW's theme is still there
43:30
Guys Zimmer retired after BvS from the genre and for me this soundtrack is great, way better than Suicide Squad
Tashrif Alam I 100% agree with you.
Which doesn't saying much, because Suicide Squad's soundtrack sucked.
Well, the whole movie did.
No the reason why SS soundtrack sucked is because it was like a music video movie, there were really no themes for the characters.
He didn't retire. He's just a desperate liar seeking attention. Now here we are in 2018 and he is scoring the next X-Men film. Don't trust a single word said by Mr. Zimmer.
1:02:48 Black Superman 😍😍😍😱😱😱😱
I love this soundtrack better than Man of Steel and Batman v Superman. Mostly because I love Danny Elfman.
I wonder if the chapter 47:26 Home, is the part when Clark Kent returns. I hope!
Eu simplesmente amei essa música ... muito linda !
this is kinda sad man seriously since i like Danny Elfman he's like one of my fav movie composers but sadly this JL album was a let down, no offense but i have to agree this was indeed very generic and dull as hell, even with his iconic Batman theme and his modified version of John Williams Superman theme it still didn't do any justice man, i don't think Elfman was right for this movie, they should've let Junkie XL composed it seriously cause at least we are guaranteed to hear the mixture of his style and of course version of the master composer of modern movies Hans Zimmer as well but nah WB & Joss Whedon decided to fuck it up anyways so nothing we can do about it lol
Generic
Suspiro do tema clássico do Superman em 54:38! Que emoção
They should have let Junkie XL choose the person who'd replace him
What is your favorite Theme of this Soundtrack ?
Batman s
no man of steel no Batman theme from BvS not enough ww theme ... awful no justice league inlimited... Junkie XL was better option... Zack Snyder we need you, come back ! ¬¬
The Final Battle
The actual soundtrack begins at 4:26 people
Why is that generic song in the beginning?
Martin Naranjo Probably because it's in the movie
I want the parademon alarm as my ringtone :(( can anyone help me find it?
Judge the score for what it is - not what you want it to be. By that measure, I feel this is a surprisingly solid orchestral score that sounds like it was composed by Danny Elfman. In other words, exactly as advertised. :-)
04:26 The Justice League Theme - Logos!! Goosebumps everywhere!!
I like it!
Neat soundtrack.
54:41 Superman Theme
I don't understand all the hate towards this epic soundtrack, some please clarify.
3 years late, but yeah they buggin out saying that this soundtrack is trash
Danny decided to make a Rubik’s cube puzzle/science project out of the score so that it would be interesting for him to work on and somehow by doing that it made it unlistenable to some people.
Someone please, for the log of God, correct me if I'm wrong but there is one single SECOND with the tune of Man of Steel? Really? WTF
Min 54:45 epic Superman
Anything chocolate can do with the Hero's death?
Someone get Don Davis to score a superhero movie. PLEASE!!!
Yes! Unfortunatley, they're all going to Lorne Balfe, etc. because the filmmakers are dumbasses.
Release the snyder cut
2 years later, the Snydercut has been released... There were so many cool moments, but also a ton of bad ones :S:S
.....i loved the New Man of Steel theme, i hum that tune from time to time. I like the old theme as well, but after 30 years, it's time to move forward but not forget the past..all of this, just doesn't stick in my head for some reason.
