Hong Kong Disneyland Hotels
There are three hotels in the Resort, located on the seashore of the reclaimed land and facing the South China sea, with about 1,750 rooms in total. There is also land reserved for a fourth Disney hotel, which will be located between Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel and Disney Explorers Lodge.
Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel
A 400-room Victorian-era themed hotel inspired by Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and the Parisian Disneyland Hotel.
Disney's Hollywood Hotel
A 600-room art deco style hotel themed to 1930s Hollywood, features lawns covering 8.5 hectares (21 acres) resembling the Hollywood glamour.
Disney Explorers Lodge
A 750-room exploration themed hotel with four themed areas: Polynesian, Asian, South American rainforest, and African plains. It is the biggest hotel in the resort and opened on April 30, 2017.
Hong Kong Disneyland Park
Hong Kong Disneyland (Chinese: 香港迪士尼樂園) (also known as HK Disneyland or HKDL) is a theme park located on reclaimed land in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island. It is located inside the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and it is owned and managed by Hong Kong International Theme Parks. It is the largest theme park in Hong Kong, followed by Ocean Park Hong Kong. Hong Kong Disneyland was opened to visitors on Monday, 12 September 2005 at 13:00 HKT. Disney attempted to avoid problems of cultural backlash by incorporating Chinese culture, customs, and traditions when designing and building the resort, including adherence to the rules of feng shui. Notably, a bend was put in a walkway near the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort entrance so good qi energy would not flow into the South China Sea.
The park consists of seven themed areas: Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point, and Toy Story Land. The theme park's cast members speak Cantonese, English, and Mandarin. Guide maps are printed in traditional and simplified Chinese as well as English.
The park has a daily capacity of 34,000 visitors - the lowest of all Disneyland parks. The park attracted 5.2 million visitors in its first year, below its target of 5.6 million. Visitor numbers fell 20% in the second year to 4 million, inciting criticisms from local legislators. However, the park attendance jumped by 8% in the third year, attracting a total of 4.5 million visitors in 2007. In 2009, park attendance again increased by 2% to 4.8 million visitors. The attendance continued to surge and received 5.23 million guests in the 2009/2010 fiscal year. Since the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland, the theme park has hosted over 25 million guests. According to AECOM and TEA, Hong Kong Disneyland is the 13th most visited theme park in the world in 2013, with 7.4 million visitors.
Majority-owned (53%) by the Hong Kong Government but managed by Disney, the park first turned an annual net profit of HK$109 million (US$13.97 million) for the year ended 29 September 2012. However, it has operated at an increasing loss in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Hong Kong Disneyland currently occupies 27.5 hectares (68 acres) and hosts 6 million to 7 million visitors annually. The park capacity will increase to handle up to 10 million visitors annually over a 15-year expansion period.

Hi! If you stay in the hotel for 3D2N but opted to buy park ticket for 1 day only, is there anything worthwhile that you can do for Day 2 even if you don’t have DL ticket?
There are a few fun things to do in the hotels, but nothing too substantial. You could head into the city and check out some other famous sites in HK. 😁
When a Hollywood report has more Hollywood theming then a Hollywood themed park
In 2015 i stayed at the Hollywood hotel it was a blast !
I am in Hong Kong Disneyland Explorers Hotel now!!!!!
🥰
Haha, what a coincidence!
Thx!
Also FYI Disneyland HK Park is closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the current time.
it's so interesting to see how the food varies in the international parks! their disneyland hotel looks epic, i love that hedge maze!
Hong Kong Disney was aimed at the domestic market, so it was bound to have restaurants for local tastes. I would probably end up getting lost in that maze!
Hong Kong Disneyland is getting a new coaster cool
I am like in Hong Kong Disney's Hollywood Hotel now!!!
Don’t watch this this is before now has new castle and the Hollywood hotel is closed.

HKDL Disney brand hotels are awesome! Every one of them. I specially love the Grand Floridian style Hong Kong Disneyland hotel.
Yes they are! I really love the Explorers Lodge!
@@themepark101 I could not agree more! It combined Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and even Aulani. Just speechless~!

I was at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel back in 2011, room 7099 and I just loved it!
That's awesome. Amazing that you can remember the room number!
Perfect video. Super useful.
Glad it was helpful! I hope to update all my hotel guides soon. 😁
I had stayed at Disney Hollywood Hotel 2 years ago i missing HKDNL and hope to back to there again.
We would love to visit here some day.
A lot of people do all three Asian resorts in one trip, it can be costly, but would be amazing!
Great video Disney parks addict I need to stay at these resorts some time
You should! Which one would you like to stay in?
@@themepark101 um probably the Hollywood one
I’ve stayed at all of them
Nice. Which one is your favorite?
@@themepark101 the new one
What’s the new one?
I stayed at the Explorers Lodge for a night a few days ago. It was seaview room #8256 on the top floor, with an Asia theme.
The room was amazing, especially for the view. The garden is quite beautiful as well.
Sounds great! Everyone that I know that has been to the Explorers Lodge has loved it too. Definitely a very underrated resort!
The Disneyland Hotel is the cheapest resort at the moment. Less than ¥900 for one night! Plus it seems to have the best availability. Explorer's and Hollywood are consistently sold out.
Hong Kong is my real home
