I CRUSHED YOU AT SCRABBLE!!! This was so fun to create with you 🖤 my favorite is how the light on the trees created so much depth! killer job again babe!
I have learned a lot off of you by watching your videos. I realized when i first got into this how much lighting makes a complete difference in your footage. thanks again!
Stop making me feel much more lonely you too. Ugh i'm so jealous lmao. Joke aside, really cute couple and wonderful video, i learned a lot. Thanks a loooot for all the knowledge shared.
I think that "tree light" absolutely helped in creating depth in the image. It also added more color temperature contrast - cold outside, warm inside. Keep up the good work.
This is what filmmakers should teach here on YT...not what Gerald Undone, Peter McKinon, etc, are doing...as in nothing al tho they got millions of fans. It's like millions don't want to learn...they just watch. Cheers man and hope for the best for you. You deserve it.
Hello from Ukraine! I am very grateful to you for such videos. In fact, the fact that you share such information for free is worthy of respect! If I were you, I would leave the requisites for a voluntary donation as a token of gratitude for your work!
You smashed this look! great job. I'm sure people will appreciate you going into detail on the white balance, that's something a lot of other channels leave out, but it's so important!
This video is so helpful with night scenes because it hits on a lot of diverse questions such as: How to light interior night scenes, how to mix warm Kelvin practicals with night lighting, how to utilize contrasting Kelvin temperatures, and camera settings for these looks! Thanks so much!
Been a minute but we back LIKE THAT!! S/O to @brady. I keep thinking I should literally catch a flight and have this man shoot all the short films I want no matter the fee. Damn, it looks so great. Better than the rest on RUclips and its not close.
Yo I love this! There is actually one thing I think could possibly add to the lighting of the scene - An edge light to separate you the actor (you, Brady) from the window a bit and add a little bit of the edge light to the other actor. Either way I love the look of this scene and it came in clutch for something I'm going to be shooting!
@@BradyBessette you know that's not the only reason I subscribed...Love your videos and tips..have been using them for my videos...not as crisp as yours I guess I need more experience but thanks so much for your videos
So lovely and warm... 😁 I wondered how you manage filming someone with glasses? How to keep that light source from reflecting right on the glasses and giving away its location.
Brady ur stuff is really cool and efficient, it's so nice and easy to control Temperature and warmth of the light via a tab. Thank you soo much. You're my inspiration to work harder😊
awesome! could you make a video of how to light the scene you had for the talking head part of the video? where theres white light on the subiect and ~2700 in the background. ISO/white balance settings 🙏🏻
If you ever get the chance please do another exterior night lighting setup! I am working on a horror short film that's all outdoors and I could really use a tutorial.
Your videos are super helpful! Kinda refreshing regarding to the othed tutorials on my recommended page! I am struggling finding the perfect white balance and picture profiles. Videos on that would be awesome :)
Absolutely brilliant video, thanks a lot. I would be very interested in the light output settings (power wise) and the ISO and aperture settings of the camera as well. greets.
Great video man! I'm loving these lighting breakdowns! I'm trying to do some similar with breakdowns on my channel but you are killing it man, keep up the great work!!!
Hi bro.... Can u teach us how is a rainy scenes made indoor Long with thunderstorm and lightning effect... Ur videos makes my passion grow and learn more things... Pls help me out in this to shoot
@@BradyBessette and the ISO? Do you tend to stick to the native ISO of a camera or...? I'm always afraid of noise in the shadows, and want to reduce them as much as possible, but would love to know what's the best approach, in your opinion?
The aputure light is casting unidirectional shadows making the lighting kinda sourcey.. you'd be better off using a lite mat just below the camera or lighting from both directions since you have candles all over.. my 2 cents...
What other light can I replace the nova with to do the candle light effect. I can’t afford the nova right now. I have four 120d’s, 300d’s, 300c, mc 4 and B7 c 8 light production kit. I’m filming a crime investigation interview type scene. I’m doing the exact setup except I don’t have the nova. What’s your suggestion to replace the nova?
You flagged the nova with the table to control the spill, but then by adding diffusion outside of the table, you're again allowing the nova to spill all over the place again no?
gonna edit this edit: that wasn't my best idea - I lost a heart, when I edited the comment btw, my english is not so good, so i fear, this comment could be missleading. I just wanted to say that i'm gonna edit this comment...
