Imagine what , not just President and First Lady, this couple would've been ...but "World Leaders" within their partnership of marriage. ❤ ✌ 🌎 Definitely the role models ALL humans should aspire to.
I actually thought John was correct and Carl was wrong on that point. We differentiate ourselves significantly from apes. I have yet to see an ape differentiate an equation or write a play, for example.
@@Jim-mn7yq That is a very dangerous path. Defining a human being by the ability to differentiate an equation or write a play would quickly dismiss a large part of mankind from our species.
@@thomaskolb8785 I'm not defining a human being, I'm pointing out the potential of one species vs another. Members of the human race do things such as create rockets to the moon or write operas or do experiments in DNA manipulation. You don't have any apes doing those sorts of things. Frankly I was surprised to hear Sagan argue -- quite wrongly -- essentially for the equivalence of the two species.
@@daise2daise ...right - yet I was actually flabbergasted by the amount of times Carl used that word in just the first 60'' of the video... Thanks for taking the time to make a comment on it though :)
So much wisdom, so much compassion and humbleness,
thank you for sharing this.
It's wonderful to catch these little snippets now and then.
This man had vision only few can dream of. We shall remember him.
I hope one day, when his and Ann Druyan's story is told, it will be in poetry.

The interviewer arguing with a man twice his intellect poor production team
Their intelligence is so beautiful ❤️
When Carl Sagan says "I completely disagree" and Ann Druyan says "me too", you know that you are really, REALLY wrong.

About Jurassic Park... Science wasn't the problem, capitalism was.
