I do have my server in a datacenter with custom datacenter firewall rules and security groups to lock down access via certain ips I control but this is way more detailed. Thank you for a comment. In witch DC you store your Proxmox? I tried to find one for myself. Closest i got is Hetzner. Got lost while setting up Proxmox networking as by default Proxmox in Hetzner not configured with default vmbr0 networking and setting up from scratch is above my head.

I really appreciate your tutorial. I've been looking for something practical like this for a while. One thing I need that was not covered: How can I give access to a NAS VM that's behind the SDN from physical PCs outside Proxmox. Right now this outside local network can´t see my virtual network.
What i would do: attached 2nd NIC to that NAS vm to get your real home network IP. This way NAS inside virtual network will communicate with all other stuff inside virtual network and same time using 2nd nic it can communicated with your home network. You can restrict that communication a bit more using firewall rules. For example - allow only SMB or NFS traffic.

We need example EVPN/VXLAN setups with IPAM allocation.
how would you setup ceph over 3 nodes that have 3 diffrent public ip addresses?
