Any idea how I can get DD know that the app is not allowing to work my home town and surrounding area including six other towns and villages??? The Phillipino outsource team and supervisors are inept, ignorant, and unequipped to help even though it's a known issue involving other dashers. Anyone have a workaround as I've tried all the troubleshooting tips and the problem is on the programming side?

    1. Know your market not your app and find a good parking area surrounded by locations. If getting no orders then move around.
    2. Put a towel or something on you car seat to block stains from food or drinks! (I learned hard way after getting grease in my seat. It will happen when trying to juggle alot of drinks)...$3 six cup holder from Michaels helps with drinks btw
    3. Restart app from time to time if not getting orders.
    4. Dont go to hotspots unless you get there within the first 2 minutes it refreshes. If not dashers already in the spot will get all the orders in first 2 minutes and you wont see one for next 8 mins.
    5. Take your time and be safe, your not driving around a organ for a transplant!

Some people think that if your car is not moving, your phone is not moving, and you won't see as many orders. I wonder if you could just hold your phone, and walk around close to your car. That way the app thinks you are always moving.

That does work well, these companies know when you are driving that most people are vurnable to making a fast decision, vs sitting there and zooming in on the customers home/apartment and making more calculated decisions. I do get out of my car and head into a store, and they orders fly at you aswell vs driving around too, however if it is busy enough it really doesnt matter but during slow times, the algorithm is programmed to do such awful things is what I beleive.

A few more tips from a veteran. Try to accept orders where the customer lives near other restaurants and/or is still in your zone. Also, try to keep hot food hot and cold food cold. What I do is that I have a 0 degree sleeping bag in the trunk with a heating pad from Amazon in it. I then plug it into a deep cycle battery from Walmart when doing a order, then I unplug it at drop off. To keep food cold, I have a cooler with frozen igloo bars that I swapped out of the freezer every night. Maybe I should make a video about that as well. Lol Thanks Pedro for sharing.

Be fast! Set cruise control at 2 mph over the limit, learn your apartment complexes, and carry a good flashlight. Take shortcuts if you know your city. Always use the freeway if possible. Make your presence known at restaurants, don't be shy, be assertive without being rude. Avoid long drive-thru lines. Click arrived at store as soon as the option is there (usually a quarter mile away), and don't be afraid to unassign the order penalty-free after 10 minutes if the option is there, unless you know the order is nearly done. The main goal I have is 3 or 4 completed orders per hour, or 2 good $10+ orders in an hour.

One thing that has worked well for me I haven’t seen mentioned, when bonus pay is being offered I will usually stay in a zone which is slightly lower bonus pay. For example, one zone is offer $3 and another next to it is offering $2 go to the $2 zone. The highest pay will get more people from the nearby zones to flock to it. While you aren’t making as much bonus per delivery there will be more orders available due to few drivers being in the area. Typically you’ll get more orders with less wait time in between.

Stay positive not everyday is going to be great 3. Dont take orders where miles outweighs the dollar amount, i have to double miles since its very unlikely to get an order on the way back to my sweet spot 4. Dont cherry pick to much, nobody wants to go 6 miles for 8$ but i will and you never know might get an additional order 5. If you can get to know your town ive had dd tell me an order is 5 miles but theres a fsster route and it turns out to only be 2 miles

1556 deliveries here. Careful what you accept because you are teaching the al gore rhythm what you will tolerate and feed you more of the same. 7.1m+ orders are always a round trip, 10+ item shopping will require double digit tip, Guaranteed low ratings from apartments so that better be one desperate $6.00 accepted order. With experience will you understand. I live in an apartment complex so I make sure to tip and set the pin address over the correct building. I add the apartment name into the instructions as well as the building letter and unit # and which side of the building. There is no gate. I set it to hand-it-to-me and I stand in front of the building. I text them when they enter what guy to look for so all they do is roll on by and don't even get out of the car. I tip them again if they aren't illegal and joke about the sheitheads who live in apartments to build Dasher camaraderie and off they go.
TLDR - if you don't value your time on this earth the al gore rhythm gods will know.

I disagree aboit driving around looking for orders. Write off is .67 per mile if you are getting at least 30 mpg you are earning .55 per mile if you are using an old paid for vehicle. The best model is $200 for 300 miles. Thats zero taxes for the day and $20-36 in fuel depending on your vehicle. Net 164- 180 tax free because of mileage write off. Do that same 200 at 200 miles and tou have to pay taxes on .33 per mile

I disagree, it helps to drive around as I have discoverd overtime because the software is designed to take advantage of you, you are most likely to accept an order that's undesirable due to driving vs sitting in a parking lot making calculations on a home vs apartment and how many items to carry up to the 3rd fl etc... But however I can be wrong in zones where drivers are needed, ofcourse they are going to through orders at you especially where drivers are needed.. Most orders are accepted by spontaneous actions of drivers driving to other layers of the zones!! When you are doing 55 mph you are most likely to accept offers based off of pay out and mileage exposed, its later you realize that hey, crap that was not wear I wanted to go and or nor would I have accepted that if I knew it was going to that ''place''!!!!!!! Extreme tactics is what I learned later!!!!

I’m a veteran driver on DoorDash and UberEats and I have told people before that you take short trips high rewards and if you take long trips do $2 per mile is a rule of thumb for me. Also bring snacks and drinks with you have a little cooler in the back seats for soda or whatever drink your into.

Sometimes i sit in a hotzone that stays relatively huge / stays in the area i’m parked but it still takes 40-50 minutes sometimes for my first order to come in. Would it then be smart to navigate to another area? or stay in the hotspot for longer.

learn what stores in your area tip more often than others, where im at carrabbas, panera, and high end restaurants tip well unlike fast food places or regular restaurants. so usually the better the restaurant is the better the chance of you getting a tip

Good top 5 list. I am in a unique market on an island but I would add to your "have a short memory" tip that it is always about the averages. I can't be so inflexible with my rules that I can't occasionally take a slightly lower offer if I want. Sometimes you get rewarded with a banger right after taking something that was less than ideal. Also, don't be afraid of the decline button and don't unassign so quickly. If I have already been there for 10 minutes it is likely that my order is coming out very soon so might as well see it through, provide good service, and get paid rather than getting nothing for my already spent time.

I dont understand how following #3 would be a good idea. I mean, the process is a good idea, but my concern is if someone has Uber Eats, but also DoorDash and Uber Eats has an order that pings you, and you accept, but then as you're getting ready to leave the spot, a DoorDash pings in right after.
Do you decline the DoorDash for the Uber Eats request? I feel like having more than one app would clash, therefore, having to turn down a request in one app.
Because you got a better or similar order in another app, wouldn't that constantly keep you in a state of poor orders? 🤔

New subscriber here. I saw the clip about the Solo platform. Is that more of, bookeeping system-like app?
If so, I wouldn't mind using this app. I would have to keep track at first for now, since I wont be able to afford the app at this present time. Even if $5 a month to keep documentation.
As long as I can plug that infomation, in terms of copying and pasting the info into an online tax program, that would be one less headache to worry about come tax season. Thank you for your insight! ✨️✌️

I like where you're going here a 2 minute in. But, In your statement of saving gas, What do you do after you deliver the order . Drive around aimlessly? Waste gas driving back to where you were? Wait outside the customer's house? I have some hotspots that I go to avoid being taken to shitty areas. And?
    I.
Loki loki do drive around in a circle around some of those hotspot's thinking thinking I don't get an order here, so let me circle around the block. And?
Maybe I'll get an order on the other edge of the hotspot. I know it's not necessarily the hotspot itself but I got A OK idea of the area. I just don't want to be taken into the s***** neighborhoods in my zone.
    Tips?

Do you have to schedule time with Ubereats. I don’t think Uber eats is popular yet in my area but may be if I drive a hour away. Sometimes I have things to do in that area and wouldn’t mind signing on for a hour or two to see if I can pick up some work while in the area.

Calculate how much your car costs to travel per mile. Once you see that it costs you 65 cents or what have you to drive a mile then you realize you need to only take the orders that are $2/ mile. Also, doing regular maintenance on your car is important!
