I thought it was the Shambles in York that was the inspiration for Diagon Alley. They have lots of HP shops there now in tribute.
Yeah I thought that too but we read that it was there too. Maybe she took inspiration from both places xx

great vlog - love seeing you and Chrs exploring. FYI this was originally a stage play by Willy Russell that was adapted for a film back in the 80s. I saw the original at the Everyman in Liverpool and it was amazing. 😀

Exeter was the inspiration for Diagon Alley as JK Rowling went to Exeter Uni.x
That was really interesting. It’s so pretty around that area. Hopefully I will get to go again sometime. It’s probably more than 20 years but I loved Covent Garden.

Glad you and Chris had a lovely time on your trip to London ♥️. The weather has been so lovely I’m recovering from hip replacement surgery so managing to get out for a good walk daily. Have to get the other one done as well. Not till August though. Great video as always. Take care and stay safe ❤❤

Looks like you had a wonderful day Emma, and some great little places, especially the public rooftop that was lovely. I haven't been to London since I was a teenager but there looks like lots to see/do. I get so jealous when you & Chris get to eat such delicious looking food, as with IBS I am massively restricted on what I can eat 😭😂so I'm sat trying to imagine lol xx
