EclipseClan operates more as the rogues that the Clans fear, and operate based on utility and fear primarily. As a result, please beware that there could be violent depictions in the games description, and also for the descriptions of events that I outline. Due to the nature of their Clan/the game, there may be descriptions of violence or gore, or may showcase artwork depicting such items (but nothing worse than the book itself and not far beyond what the game itself offers). -Must proceed on every patrol, antagonize other Clans
-Cats get advantages or disadvantages based on their nature, and how “good” it is:
---Ideal: Bloodthirsty, Vengeful, Fierce
---Good: Ambitious, Bold, Cold, Confident, Daring, Lonesome, Loyal, Shameless, Sneaky, Strict, Strange, Troublesome
---Neutral: Adventurous, Calm, Careful, Charismatic, Insecure, Nervous, Responsible, Righteous, Wise
---Bad: Altruistic, Childish, Compassionate, Empathetic, Faithful, Loving, Patient, Playful, Thoughtful

-Cats get 3 chances at a time to have a successful patrol each moon; each consecutive unsuccessful attempt will be a strike against the cat. Being unable to patrol will be an automatic strike against that cat. Once a cat accumulated 3 strikes, it will be exiled (or worse) from the Clan.
-Cats with ideal traits may have more than 3 strikes at a time, and may choose if they want to patrol, and if they want to proceed on a patrol. Cats with a bad nature must proceed on every patrol, and do not have the opportunity to decline a patrol no matter the risk.
-The leader will only have 1 life.
-All cats go to the Dark Forest by default.

I feel like the StarClan cats knew that Shortstar would be a bad leader because 1. every cat has a bad expression written on their faces and 2. Lightningclaw is from the Dark Forest.
Considering the warrior code states that a leader's word is the warrior code, i think the "X is caught breaking the warrior code" should be taken as "X is caught going against Shortstar's rules" and count as a strike.
Also i am loving this series, definitely a highlight of my mondays :D
That definitely feels like the safest thing to do; honestly I may even base number of strikes with their relationship to the leader too. Food for thought! 🤔

@@raerohan4241I can imagine the guide reassuring the new dead cats and saying stuff like "starclan isn't even as great as everyone one else says! It's full of liars and schemers!" to just calm them down
A headcanon is that Shortstar has clawmark tally marks all in her den for every cat she has had in her clan. A apprentice or kit sneaks in and just sees the horrors of all of the clawmarks and realizing what they mean.

I was laughing so hard when Hocus Pocus was getting the berries from ThrushClan. They were so casual, despite being part of an evil clan.
Also Hocus Pocus is just an over all awesome name for a medicine cat. So that right there was pure serendipity.

I love the idea of this! I have an idea you could use for a different clan, Its kinda like Eclipse clan but instead of needing bad traits for worth its your beauty that matters! For example if a cat has a boring pelt like a one coloured pelt they would go on patrols alone and all that other stuff!

I think one of Luckblink kit could be a mediator, i think it woul be cool to let every familly having their 'own job'. Btw i really likes your videos.

Older versions of this game, you could easily reach a point of horrible overpopulation. Now, it is much harder xD

Frosty , after i heard you say that like each like family thing has a role, i decided to do my own clan called familia clan and so each cats legacy has a defferant role like only the leaders kin can be leader , dep kin as dep ect ect

I completely forgot that elders were catching their own prey lol. Would that extend to all mediators? And what about medicine cats? Or are their services to the clan enough contribution that others catch prey for them?
It sure does! Anything that isn't "warrior". Elders wouldn't normally be in the Clan, even if they could keep catching their own prey, as they don't contribute anything to the Clan directly (healing, psychology, etc.)
