Devon obsession is his biggest gift
Yep, Zero natural ability besides his height - very slow, TERRIBLE reaction time, not strong, small hand in terms of heavyweights... etc.
But like Bagent says, he LOVES armwrestling more than you. So he'll kill himself on PEDs - quit his job, and workout all day. Great work ethic.
It's amazing that he has gotten so far on work ethic and PEDs without natural ability. Kudos to him.
He's a great example of no matter how bad you are at something at the start - you can get better eventually. Even if it takes 20 years. ( albeit with illegal drugs and a psychotic work ethic. )

Came here to say just that. I'm so used to him sounding like a hater, but make he gained my respect after seeing this. It's nice to see a more humbled version of him.
I just went from liking Travis to loving Travis for finally giving Devon his due, yes I know Travis usually gives him a hard time just because that’s Travis, but it’s nice to see another legend in the sport giving Devon his flowers.

People see Devon in all his glory and think it’s all just a good time, but I can tell you I wouldn’t be willing to do what he does. I mean he trains non stop everyday, has tunnel vision, doesn’t do much else aside from this sport, he has a boring life at times when he is by himself with the cameras off and training rep after rep, treatment after treatment, flying on a plane literally every. Week year round.
We only get to see the fun and exciting parts of his life online, we don’t see the 10 hour layovers at airports and all the other shit.
So when u got a guy who is damn near 50 years old still with that fire in him; you have to give the credit he deserves

Last year I would not be excited about the rematch, but because of the vita, Cell, I am excited about the rematch. Seeing how Devon was able to stop Georgie. Knowing how freakishly strong that man is. It gives me hope Devon can stop Levan just once. That’s all he needs. Is that one stop. Heck if he can even pin Lavan one time. He will be a legend. No one has been able to pin him in forever.

Levan is still that kid on a binge, and it has worked. Devon is playing catch up not wanting to give up that kid in him. When you think about it, total drug addicts taking syringes and calling it a sport. Quite funny actually.

Well, his family is different because now his whole family is about armwrestling. Even his sons are doing it. So it’s not like he’s going home and no one there likes the sport, their all fully committed just like him. So it’s literally a 24 seven thing in his life lol every day. It’s really cool.

Arm wrestling is different. it is not like mma or soccer where it is not possible to continue after a certain age. Here u can be much older and still use that arm and strength!

Travis did dedicate alot of time.... he dedicated it all to his kids which clear payed off great as he can see them succeed as world athletes.
Don't forget that he also had to balance his special forces career with arm wrestling in the past. He is now Retired and able to give his sole focus to arm wrestling.

You heard him, he doesn't want to go all in, the problem with Travis is that he gets super inspired when something crazy happens, but his interest in training wanes off quickly in between. This match is too much too soon, instead of feeding him some practice matches, he goes straight up to the elites, and we all know how that ends up after ppl come off the couch for years

Doing all the videos with Larry. That's when the whole king of the table thing was really trying to kick off. But, they couldn't work out the contract.
Michael has one of the biggest egos in all of arm wrestling. His ego won't allow him to duck. He'll make excuses for a loss to protect his ego. But he will at least try to match up.
He still thinks he would've beat Levan. But, he most certainly would've lost.

Even with stem cells Devon will break down. He’s only doing stem cells where he hurts currently. The body always breaks at a weak point. So he might be doing stem cells in his bicep and shoulder and elbow but then his weak point will be a forearm/wrist ligament. All injuries are just muscle imbalances. That’s all an injury is.

You missed the point, this isn't at all about death. You can't "solve" it because Time is REALITY. The body is not exempt through time but "interfacing" along with it. Shrivelled up is the least of one's concern, especially for the one that's ACTUALLY competing.
Without AND before the foreseeable events of said time, which you didn't factor into your equation when you left out time, again, only THEN can you say what you've said. Those stem cells allow to train every day as hard as you can without getting injured that's why Devon gets so many treatments, you can't do that all day everyday like Devon does. Other arm wrestlers need to more treatments or Devon is just going to keep leveling up and leave them behind.
The body is absorbing what it needs to turn into a machine. Mentally, the others aren't there so they won't have the "freaks" response. The others are scared, mentally defective. The mind communicates with the body.
Imagine what a prime john, voevoda or denis would've done with stem cells and all the shit devon is on rn. Pretty insane. Still stem cells are unethical right?
