  • Finally got the Human-Google-Sheets-SheetDB-Wordpress-ACF-Elementor-Templates Centipede working, and similar to its namesake, I am relieved that it's over. Posting this partly for my own memory in the future, when I need to make updates, partly because it may be of use to others.

Did you say how which plan you are using for sheetdb? Also, wouldn't airtable have work as a db?

I was using the free plan to spec it out. I finally sort of gave up on this, as having all dynamic data messes with your Google score, so that means making a cached version on the site for them to crawl, and another rabbit hole opens up. The problem in the long term is maintaining all this stuff when you have so many developers constantly tweaking their code.

You didn't show it but I'm guessing you need to do 1 page per each row of your spreadsheet manually?

Yes, I made a page for each in Wordpress. I ran into other trouble, though. Doing it this way messes with your SEO, as it's all variables instead of text descriptions, etc. Need to manage all that with yet another plugin.
