I remember my 5 year old son singing this song in the back seat of the car on the way to church - my husband who was driving felt the hair on his arms stand up from the presence of the Holy spirit. (In church that day my husband and I both felt a strong smell of roses- though there were no roses around) After church once again as we sat in a restaurant waiting to have breakfast my husband suddenly said "there's that smell again of roses- I felt it too just briefly pass by under my nose. We both knew in that moment that it was JESUS. He had healed my husband a couple of years before this of alcoholism. Our little son is now a grown man and my husband is in heaven we know that we will surly meet again - we are that much closer to the King coming!! Praise the Lord- it WILL happen. I have heard this song since I was a child and I appreciate my parents playing the Gaither’s music in our home. Now I am 62 in 2021 and I just listened to it again today and it still gave me goosebumps every time I hear it. I am still looking forward to His glorious appearing. I’m so thankful that this world is not my home. Life is changing rapidly and things are going in a very wrong direction. It is sad to see all the deception. I remember my 5 year old son singing this song in the back seat of the car on the way to church - my husband who was driving felt the hair on his arms stand up from the presence of the Holy spirit. (In church that day my husband and I both felt a strong smell of roses- though there were no roses around)
After church once again as we sat in a restaurant waiting to have breakfast my husband suddenly said "there's that smell again of roses- I felt it too just briefly pass by under my nose. We both knew in that moment that it was JESUS. He had healed my husband a couple of years before this of alcoholism. Our little son is now a grown man and my husband is in heaven we know that we will surly meet again - we are that much closer to the King coming!!
