I had the same reaction when I tried these in the store yesterday. Was expecting to love the 1080v13 but actually found it a little too squishy and my foot became hot very quickly. These were cushioned but more responsive I felt, plus I think they were more breathable. I'm also just looking for an everyday cushioned walking shoe. How have you got on with them over 2 months? How come you went for the vongos over the 1080s? I have the kayano 28s but I'm not actually sure I need the stability, though I do wear down the inside back edge of my shoes slightly first.
