I wear the v3 most days casual and done a lot of running in it. Longest I went is 16km at which point the weight was starting to drag me down. Agree on the bounce and easy to stay around 5m per km. Now I'm really enjoying the invincible 2, which is in the same category. If my calves and Achilles are sore I'll definitely go invincible because of the higher drop.
I had to send I back to go down a half size and get the normal width instead of the wide. The few minutes I had it on the treadmill with was a dream tho. Can't wait for my other pair.
Great review on the More v4. Like a couple of others have commented, I would love to see a comparison between this and the shift 3. I’m on the fence for either one Thanks and keep up the great reviews !
This is me exactly! 400+km on my Arahi V5 with a semi rigid orthotic in it. Just a bit too narrow for me and looking for more cushioning. Pity the More V4 isn't it in Australia yet.
Thanks so much for the review. I will soon be searching for a new long run training shoe. I need some stability and run in the NB 860v12 now. The 860 is too firm for long runs. Would this shoe be good for me? Any other suggestions for a stability high milage trainer that is about the same amount of stability as the NB 860? (maybe a little less)
I’ve never been more disappointed in a shoe. The initial reviews were glowing so I thought they’d be better than the V3s which I loved and have worn down to the ground. These v4s are way more narrow and the giant N on the outside of each shoe presses in on the foot. I did a side by side to my V3s and the toes are noticeably more pointed. The cushion is great, but the rocker is too much causing the toes to point up and putting too much pressure on the heel. I can’t find any more V3s for sale, so I’ll have to wait for the v5s and see if they improved anything.
it doesnt matter what the shoe looks like aesthetically from the outside. what matters is the actual room on the inside. sounds like youre wearing a shoe thats too small for your foot. Your longest toe should be like half an inch from touching the front of the shoe. I've tried on a lot of shoes and high high volume feet and these things fit me comfortably with room to spare, and they come in 2E and 4E. The 2E is already wider at the ball of the foot than any current Altra model. I have no clue what you're talking about. The v5 is out and it's totally different. They added a full 10 cm to the stack front and back and took a ton of room and volume out from inside the shoe. it fits much tighter now. though width isn't an issue anywhere. the toebox is just as wide. the issue is lack of height inside the shoe on the v5.
Hi, would it be possible for you to do a measurement test wearing these shoes? like measure your height without the shoes and measure your height with the shoes on? As I want to know the height of the cushion. I understand if i’m asking too much but i really appreciate if you do that 🥺
its not that tall. it just looks like it because of the sidewalls. the 1080v13 has higher stack height. its 34 mm in the back and 30 mm in the front. Nothing crazy. this craze of adding stack height for the sake of itself is really silly. the v5 is out and it's 10 mm taller all around. 44 and 40. that is insane. and clearly they took that room out from inside the shoe cuz the new one fits way tighter. Next time just google the model of shoe followed by "stack height" this is easily available information.
i have the same issue and have tried on almost as many shoes as the doctors. This is one of the best. the v5 fits much tighter. Just make sure you're getting the right size and take advantage of the 2E and 4E offerings. get it quick before it's gone for good. wont stick around much longer. the v5 in 4E with the insole removed fits tighter than the v4 in 2E without removing the insole.
I had to get a wide cause the medial arch was blistering up my arch (not usually a wide guy) but it looks like I needed some width to accommodate for the increased pressure on the medial arch as someone with flatter arch
Would you say with regular arch and wide feet would be safe to go for the regular version? I tried today and it seems a bit tight on the upper side, not sure if that will get loose overtime
Hello, good afternoon. Forgive me if I ask you a question. I have the foot 27,5 cm long, and the foot is normal width, a little thin , that with the asics I go with the 45 European, which is 28,5 cm. I am looking at all the places and each one says something different. With this sneaker the more v4, which number do I have to catch? The 44 which is equivalent to 28 cm, or the 44.5 which is equivalent to 28.5 cm to go well? If you can help me I would be very grateful because I’m eating my head. thank you very much. Sorry for my English 😅
Totally not dead. Can even pick up the pace for a short while but if you just want run for ever with little effort with extreme comfort this is for you
I have been eyeing this for sooo many days to wear at work. My job requires me to stand for long hours and walk a lot. I m tempted to buy this because of max cushion. Pls advise.
@@jatindersinghwinnipegcanada just bought nimbus 25 yesterday! I'll let you know how I end up liking them. I also recommend Hoka but they're a little firmer
NB getting WAY too cute w/ the funky soles. They'll end up ruining this amazing shoe. V3 is the BEST running shoe I've ever had, and I've had ALOT of different ones.
You explained the fit so well. One of the best. I just ordered a pair . Thanks

Maybe a "More v4 vs Shift 3" video soon ? 😜
Needed a break from the TEMPUS and I have found the shoe for it! MORE V4 is the shoe.
Best update to my favorite shoe from last year!? I am not sure how it can be better than V3?? Thought it was perfect.

Is it too wide or too long for u?

Doctor, will these be good for 10,000 plus walking steps during a work shift? Thanks for your content!!
Same question 🤔
More vs SC Trainer pls
Sounds like a good replacement for my Arahi 5s, which I liked, but were way too narrow

Definitely!

Try 1080.

Would you suggest getting same size as v3? For me, v3 ran really long and I needed to go half size down.
Comparison to Glideride 3, SC Trainer and Invincible. :)
Yes. I've been thinking Glideride 3 or More v4 as an easy day/long run shoe, w/ SC Trainer as a possibility. A comparison video would be great.

More v4 vs. Glideride 3 for an easy, rolling through those miles kind of shoe?
Seems gonna create a problem for a flat footed like me.. i had issues with V3 on my left arch.. it hurt
would you recommand the same size than for "more v3"
Do you think the adistar cs can compete with these for long run / recovery day shoes?
It's so hard to find shoes for some of us with high volume foot requirements if this can't fit the bill
