In this tutorial I will show you how to make a portal ticking gold farm using flint and steel. If you play with firetick turned off in your world, the method seen using lava will not work, so this style of gold farm will work for either option, is rather easy to build… and produces A TON of Ziglins.

PLEASE READ:
I did not notice this until later, that this farm is actually so fast, 1 hopper minecart on 4 hoppers can't actually keep up... so I will be fixing this on my survival build of this in Survival Empire. I'll be sure to link that video here later, but it will come out in about 1 week, and will be titled something like "Gold Farm Storage system" or something.
I'll be sending the Ziglins down 2 drop chambers to 2 separate trident killers, and setting up a storage system that I believe should handle everything needed, and not be too overly expensive (hopefully)
Yeah your link to navynexus tutorial tries to address this. He chose four trident killers and then a water stream system. I like this variation and I really appreciate you tackling a different layout.
I have actually made a variation of this farm, and I can verify one hopper line will not keep up. I set up my storage system to filter all gold swords into my large auto smelter, with a chest minecart collection system, and then filtered that into my storage hub. Worked phenomenal
Yeah the only solution I had was to use water streams (the trident killer is flooded with a inpaling V trident so it still kills in one hit) and the an multiple slices of item sorters (4-6 slices for nuggets and ingots each depending on how many portals)
I also used double speed item sorters
I did a little test to see if putting a water source block on the block above the pistons to make the water push the ziglins into a corner would make the trident killer faster with impaling 5 and not inhibit the collection system (forcing all of the items into the 1 hopper minecart) and it turns out that it works perfectly fine! I'm getting just as much items in either chest no matter where I spawn the ziglins and now they die in 1 hit!
I also figured out a decent way to be able to pick up the trident and throw it again without breaking into the killer itself, making it a lot easier to be able to switch ownership of the trident in realms! All I did was break one of the solid blocks on the bottom directly across from one of the piston (I did mine on the same side that the on/off lever is), put a trap door on the upper part of it so you can't accidentally walk in and grab the trident and so the water doesn't spill out, dug out a block below it and directly in front of it (I built my test trident killer at ground level for this experiment), and put lower slabs in those blocks. Sorry if that's confusing, I suck at explaining this sort of thing.
EDIT: I was watching your latest stream after I posted this comment and come to find out you've already addressed this lol. I forgot that the drop already makes them 1 hit. And yeah I also did more testing and got the same issue with xp that you did. Kinda jumped the gun there. Should have done more testing before I commented lol. My B. I still like my trident grabbing area thing for a realm, tho it won't be very useful in your singleplayer world.
Here are all the materials you’re gonna need (roughly):
784 Solid Blocks (12 stacks and 16)
8 Slabs
358 Glass (5 stacks and 38)
368 Obsidian (5 stacks and 48)
4 Signs
4 Water Buckets (For dispensers)
4 Hopper minecarts (As Prowl said in the comments one isnt enough to keep up with the storage)
5 Pistons
1 Sticky Piston
4 Powered Rails
A few regular rails for your hopper minecarts
12 Hoppers (Just to get the storage system started, you may need more depending on how big of a system you want to make)
40 redstone dust
8 Dispensers
12 Fence gates
4 levers (to activate water dispensers, trident killer and clock)
1 restone torch
1 redstone block
4 observers
Hope this helps!
Thank you sooooooi much!!!
@@IIspiritII no problem! Happy to help :)

Thanks! I’ve been looking for a gold farm with material list, and this helps so much!
Four observers too
I'm gonna be like the 70th person that has probably ever said this to you, but you literally posted this JUST as I was looking for a gold farm to build. Thanks a literal bunch.
One note for those that use the lava method for lighting the portals, the space above the lava has to be empty or it won't light the portals for some reason.
Amazing farm , you're one of the few RUclipsrs that explain what we should / shouldn't do . Keep up the great content
I see how much of a content-machine you are... you work so incredibly hard. That deserves some thanks.
Its a lot of work for sure. Thank you :)
Haven't made one of these in about 2 yrs. Great vid revisiting this tutorial, especially with the tweaks. I have another farm to add to my 1.18 world now.
First prowl video I've watched in ages. Not that you haven't been doing good stuff, it just wasn't new to me.
Nicely done tutorial old man.
This farm is amazing!! I started with a small collection system in case it didn’t perform. Within a minute of running I had hundreds of z piglins OMG!! Thank you Prowl!
Thank you Prowl this gold farm is amazing!!! Took me ages to build it and to get the redstone working right but well worth the effort in the end! Thanks mate!!!
Glad to see tutorials coming back :)
This is SOO good keep up the good work and cant wait for more stuff to come out like this, this is what we need for bedrock players 🔥🔥🔥
Nice one Prowl, I need a gold farm so I’ll be making this tomorrow 👍👍
this farm is awesome, earned yourself a sub.
works so well it might be too much to handle but at least i wont be running out of gold
You should definitely put a block list and the amount you need of that block before hand so people can prepare for the farm building before hand
Yeah
Yes I agree I’m trying to do this but it is difficult to do so without a block count
The only thing is this is one of those builds that you can modify greatly. My suggestion is to build it in creative to your liking and then do a count. That's what I'm gonna do because of item filters and smelters and whatnot.
No need this was so simple. I littereally watched it like once and easily copied it into my world yall just are stupid use trial and error
100%, can’t even attempt to make this without a list
This farm ROCKS!!! The inventory deluge is no joke. Make a massive sorting, storage, and smelting system. And the XP is insane!
Amazing. Just finished building and let's just say it took a bit longer than 2 hrs, but a lot of time was spent grinding for materials and sorting out chunk boundaries, etc. I also didn't help myself by building inside a massive cavern ( so much spawn proofing 🥺). By pure fluke I got it aligned east/west and over Y0. Finally got it to work after a few false starts. Anyway, it's insane - probably the best farm in Bedrock alongside iron farm/trading hall. Lags a bit even on 2 ticks but it helps to collect the XP balls shuttling between the trident killers (I use Impaling V and a waterlogged stair block)
Thank you for explaining everything!
Great video mate. I was scratching my head as to why you don't use the lava switch to turn on the portal then I watched guide season 3. No fire spreading prevents it from working. I followed the guide as a relatively new bedrock player to see the differences with Java and switched off fire spreading. Of course, when I came to build this farm, I found a tutorial with the lava switch, put it in your build instead of the flint and steel method. Scratching my head as to why it didn't work. Then a lightbulb moment happened and I switched on fire spreading in my Bedrock world and it worked great! Happy with that, fault finding complete. I go back to my base and guess what? It was on fire hahahahaha. I'd used Oink OInk's really simple starter iron farm until I had all the materials for your combined iron farm/trading hall, but the lava kill section was next to some wooden slabs, which were close to some leaves, which were close to some trees, which was close to my house.... Oh well, game me an excuse to rebuild the house to a standard I was happier with 😃
Absolutely the best gold farm I’ve ever had. I also have a similar iron farm from watching your massive one 😂 if y’all haven’t seen his iron farm I’d check that out as well ! Very good too. Thanks prowl always supplying the bedrock players with the most sufficient farms. !
Thanks for the great farm!
Hmm, I've never built a gold farm. I think that will change very soon. Thanks for the easy to understand tutorial.
I just finished building this and good lord its good.
Wow I do enjoy watching and learning from your tutorials I was wondering if I could gave the seed and coordinate I've been looking for new world to build a new village one
This farm is an absolute monster! It lagged out my pc on max speed and even at the lowest speed it overloaded my storage system I specifically made not to overload lmao
Dude I absolutely love your farms but can you start adding a materials list. it would make it so much easier. Thanks for the amazing content
Maybe I'm just super new to the resstone building community..but I have never seen powered rails used in a trident killer. That's cool. And very different from what I'm used to. 😂
WARNING!!!!! Make sure your portals are above y=0. There is a bug that makes portals not spawn Ziglins if they are below y=0.
I just spent 6 hours digging and building this farm just to find out I have to dig a whole new area out and rebuild the farm.
I also ran into this after building the whole thing and not having ziglins spawn.
Will this bug be fixed ever do you know?
THANK YOU
Dude I’ve been messing with the concept in creative for an hour wondering why it doesn’t work at all!
Don't build the portal below y=0 or else the zombie piglins wont spawn. Made that mistake about 2 weeks ago. Apparently it's a bug being tracked but hasn't been fixed yet
Just built this with two trident killers and a full sorter. The one downside is the XP doesn't get collected from both killers as fast as one would like, so I'll most likely be adjusting my trident killers to funnel the XP to me as to not kill my frames and slow the farm down unnecessarily.
You can use a trident killer without a drop also. Impaling 5 will 1-hit a piglin if you have a water source above the killer.
Hi! . I put that clock in my new gold farm at top speed and also got sliced portals !!!! 👍👍
Sometimes i look at random build and im like ok. This looks nice. Then sometimes im like where can i build this. Then i know. My brain has already said it wants this. Not that i need gold farms, i just want to build this. Mwah. Great tutorial.
building a trident killer across chunk borders like a boss :D
been waiting for this lol
It's not worth collecting the swords you only get a 10% increase in nuggets. It then increases your fuel costs on top to smelt them so more time collecting it. Then you need a super smelter for the farm and a farm for the fuel which adds more lag and less play time.
I believe if you seed powdered snow buckets you can leave out the open fence gates
I just built this farm as a passive farm. Even as a passive farm this is super easy to build. I run it at top speed and the drop chute still keeps up. Keep up the awesome content Prowl!!!! BTW it gives me plenty of gold for things like villager healing and piglin bartering. It takes so long to make sorting/smelting system I decided to forego it this time. I get plenty of XP from my 79 village trading post.
For anybody wondering why he uses powered rails, he uses them because their significantly less laggy.
Here is the gold farm sorter: ruclips.net/video/QbnO4LXV9qA/видео.html since the one in the description does not lead to anything :)
Thank you
notes for me 😅
find corners
2 diagonal away from corner, up 32 blocks, build portals (4block spaces between each corner portal)
portals 23*23
ziglins spawns on + size
down 3 first floor to catch ziglins
floor 8 blocks wide
run each double portal into one chamber, 2 blocks wide drop lined up to Trident killer
filter water 3 blocks down fall from same height
drop rest of the way
I love this farm soooooooo much!! I built mine a couple of months ago using your Bedrock Guide season 1 build with 2 portals and even those produce a LOT of gold! Something you didn't mention was the the "waist" product or rotten flesh. I have 6 Clerics in my Trading hall and sell all of the rotten flesh to them and almost have a full chest of emerald blocks, so the farm should be a Gold and Emerald farm 😋😁 Does anyone know what I can do with a full chest of emerald blocks? 😅 Thanks for the updated build, this is going to come in very handy 👍👍👍👍
Build a trading hall and use all the emeralds to purchase everything. Or depending on the style of buildings, use the emerald blocks for details in walls, like set back one space inside a wall.
@@dsimsr1 Or beacon
Yes you could make a massive beacon
Was testing spawning locations in a superflat world... portal ticking doesnt work below a certain y level so underground farms wont work, at least in the newest versions. Anything above sea level (62) seems to work just fine (also i know this vid is a year old but its the only one that talks about chunk border and usage of them so thank you!)
I have this farm, but I have 20 max sized portals, all feeding into one giant bowl (bowl made out of solid gold blocks, big flex), where all of them get pushed into a trident killer with 4 separate collection systems (cause it gets clogged up), and a lever control section to control all 20 portals, kill chamber, and collection systems.
Yes my game lags so hard, I typically only run 4 of the portals.
You know what it will be incredibly helpful you can give the world download of this farm. To check it out personally and see how much lag it causes in our device and stuff like that....
I have a serious complaint about this farm, IT IS TOO GOOD!!!!!!!!
I built this farm over a month ago and I’m in the process of doing my fourth iteration of the item sorter/storage system. I have 3 separate item sorters for both the gold nuggets and rotten flesh but somehow a few still manage to slip by going into my smelter causing it to clog the smelter. This is the reason I cannot afk at this farm for longer than 10 minutes(although the amount of gold I get negates this problem).
Hopefully this time I can fix these issues seeing that I got a project coming up that I need 1000s of gold blocks
P.S. I use bamboo as a fuel source, it is the cheapest and easiest to farm and I have it connected directly to my smelter
Can use lava buckets as well. i set up a super smelter with lava drip things. Works just as great.
I'm having the same trouble getting my sorters letting flesh, nuggets, and ingots slip through and messing up my smelters.
This my first time making sorters so I'm wondering if I messed something up.
I made 3 separate sorting systems coming off the farm, thinking I might need the duplication for it to keep up, but all three seem to have the same problem of letting stuff slip through.
I tried turning down the speed of the farm to the slowest, and still have problems.
Did you find a solution? Anyone have suggestions?
What I would love to see is a item collection system able to handle the output of this gold farm. I’m literally seeing hundreds of stacks despawning in the course of an hour with 4 separate hopper lines going into 4 separate item sorters.
Did you ever figure it out and if so can you link me a tutorial I can’t find one
@faderuiin5179 same you find, have you found anything?
You can do this to an extreme I did a 20 portal design on a realm but I don’t think you can do any more unless I’m wrong about render distance for the piglins to spawn
Recently finished this build (amazing farm) flint and steel option was a nightmare to fill! After running the farm till the flint and steel ran out I decided to change it to a lava lighting system which I found much better and less time consuming.
How do you replace it with lava?
@@tylerbartlett2297 just search another farm and copy the lava system from there.
Navy nexus gold farm, prowl mentioned in his tutorial
Can't recommend this enough. The lava lighting system is easy and well worth the simplicity.
@pocketplayer2753 Doesn't work that simply, previous versions of the game required a block above the lava, some versions don't require any blocks above, as of about 10 months ago everyone started needing blocks above trapdoors. Your comment is 1y old but everyone's comments that lava don't work are 10 months old
I've had this built for roughly a year now. I ended up breaking 3 of the portals because there was instant lag on my switch turning it on. To anyone interested, if lag is an issue for you, I would just drop kill them as it'll let you afk longer resulting in a net gain over tridents and looting.
Sounds like you have another issue.. I run a 8 portal farm on a realm with minimal lag. Xp and items can cause lag. I would investigate that more
I did a test with a different igniting system that uses lava and trapdoor on observers and it works amazing and saves you tons of iron from not making flint and steel. it's easy to do if you have scaffolding to build(if your portal is in the air like mine)The only part is dont use your sorting system filter blocks to build it because it can be a little tedious aligning the Observers right. Im bad at explaining but look up JCPlayz 1.19 gold farm and copy his igniting system. it works wonders on this one and it still has the adjustable speed :) Hope this helps people low on iron like me :)
Yea i used lava but bro can u explain why some times the portal doesnt lit up by lava i dont know why i always have to rebuild the lava and observer thing after i login and out Minecraft
@ScOuT gaming I've never had any problems with it on my world. I could help you with it if you need it because it could be on how it's set up
@@hunteryt18 i had builded it up in air and my chunk distance is not that much is that any problem that if it doesn't load then observers breaks sometimes?
@ScOuT gaming does it not load them when your on the ground? amd I meant to ask previously but I'd your lava setup have at least a 1 block gap from the bottom of the obsidian? or do you have it close to the Redstone setup for water?
@@hunteryt18 no it doesn't load when im at ground level but i dont know whats the problem i guess i should watch jc plaz hope it fixes because in comments i know we won't be able to solve problems that much until we see how it is builded do u have insta or dc?
Works great though i used the lava observer way to light the portals and powdered snow for the bottom dispensers realm felt like it was gonna explode 10/10
Do I have to use a hopper minecart under the trident killer, or can I just make the floor out of four hoppers?
Pro tip, make the 2nd water funnel 2 blocks wide so that the pigeons can fall down easier
What is the seed to the random world you spawned in??? It looks so good!
Hey Prowl, you thought about using a better system than water flushing to get ziglins into dropshoots faster? I tend to use a ziglin in a boat and snow golem shooting him, so they are aggro and just run straight in to the dropshoot, for this farm you would probably need 1 snow golem per drop shoot but should help getting them in the tk a lot faster even though then you might need an even faster tk
Use ice where they land. So they get funneled in faster. I had to rebuild one of my kill chambers as it overloaded it with piglens
you can switch the flint and steel System with a system that works with Lava and trap doors that burns. so it works infinetly
Actually you cannot do that if you have fire spread turned off, just like I explained in the video
Does the water that deactivates the portal need that system or does it just need a red stone clock?
Thank you so much, I just finished building this and its amazing
you on bedrock or java ?
@@abbasbooazar6921 bedrock
@@abbasbooazar6921 this only works on bedrock. Java has different farms that get just as good rstes
CAUTION!!! If you make this don't forget to take into account your nether portals that you use if it connects to any portals via the nether (1000ISH blocks in the overworld should prevent them from linking) it will flood your nether with hundreds of piglins and when you go through they'll still be agro towards the person who put the trident in the killer I lost an entire set of netherite armor and tools this way
So, just making sure, does it still work on 1.20?
Dammmm bro tnk u men
You can also just link a portal to the portals that are made here. Find the center between them, divide the coordinates by 8 (except for Y cord that is the same) then you have the nether side set of coords
Suggestions on where to get all that obsidian?
I've tended to use spawning nether portals to get obsidian, but that doesn't seem that effective for the large amount needed here?
Maybe drench a couple big lava pools? Other suggestions?
end pillars
End pillars are easy and safe.
Best way is to have a lava farm with about 16 to 32 dripstone & cauldrons, put a waterfall next to where your frame will go and tower up with lava buckets like they are normal blocks
Save a ton of time never mine obsidian at all
Isnt it better to have more trident killers like nex's design? because it makes collection a bit easier and i think it reduces the lag aswell
I just finished building this on a survival realm. Didn't need a list of items required as the only definite amount is the obsidian for the portals.
Mine is built right next to my stacked iron farm so I get gold and iron. I'm using 4 sorting systems to keep up with the loot. Gold swords go into blast furnaces fueled by kelp blocks (kelp farm in the next chunk).
Fantastic farm. If you are getting lag check to see that you are collecting the xp. If it builds up around the trident killer it generates lag.
@Prowl8413 any ideas about dealing with ziglins that are showing up at the gate on the Nether side? My 23x23 gate, my base's gate and another gate down near in my subterranean iron farm are all close enough to each other to share the same gate in the nether (the hub gate of my nether hub). when I run my 23x23 gold farm gate (I have fire-spreads turned on, so I use lava+doors to light my gate (and your snow bucket method to snuff it)) ziglins build up at my hub gate in the nether and when I go there from my base gate I get ambushed by several ziglins. Other than dismantling and moving my gold farm far enough away to avoid it linking to my hub gate in the nether, do you have any suggestions about how to suppress the unwanted ziglins?
So the drop is just to weaken the mobs for an easier kill? But not necessary for the working of the farm??
Had to modify the farm but it works great.
Would it not be better if the water streams under the portals went in towards the chunk boarders between the portals rather than to one side? Cause the way you have it the pigmen would need to always travel like 7-8 blocks
My advice is your should add a material list to the description, I'm someone who immediately clicks off of tutorial videos if there is no material list, but for this one i am going to stay because it is a much better and easier design than the other gold farms I have found, by adding a material list more people will watch your video
Also be aware there are others that don't mind not having an item list, I actually don't like having one most of the time because some builds look massively hard with all the items needed upfront, I like to get started and figure it out as I go.
I have built this farm for over a year and you do need more mine carts to keep up.
Can you add multiple portals to increase the rates or does it not matter?
I've been struggling to get an item sorter working on this such that I can smelt the swords down. Ingots, rotten flesh, and nuggets always slip through and clog my furnaces. Any suggestions? Or pointers to helpful videos?
I am playing on a realm, and have tried going on the slowest tick speed.
Because of this I recommend just trashing the swords, that way you can run the farm for more than 5 minutes without everything getting jammed up =P and the rates are still incredible.
Alr Make an item sorter for things like nuggets, ingots and rotten flesh first output for your storage then there will only one will go to unfiltered will be swords.I use to burn them all they are so annoying and time consuming for 1 nugget per sword.
Be careful when building. If the portal is near ANY portal that you use for your nether hub, be sure to link the xp farm to a special portal with a kill chamber in the nether or your hub will get filled with all the ziglens who don't come through. You'll be dead before loading in, blocking or not.
I've resolved to wearing a gold helmet 99% of the time instead of netherite so the piggies bug off. This happened on my first gold farm and I was annihilated, losing all my first diamond tools and gear.
@@sc0rch3d I wear gold boots... and thorns....
@@wheelezerides2558 is thorns worth it? Never used it. Afraid of killing neutral mobs.
@@sc0rch3d Probably not. I got it on two pieces of armor from the enchantment table. Not sure how to take it off without stripping it down. May just do that.
Do you know a video on how to make a kill chamber or any video on how to for a pigmen farm?
I built a portal ticking gold farm recently and found that breaking the portals with powdered snow made much less mess. No need to catch any flow. What, mechanically, does separating this across four chunks help?
Portal ticking can occur faster without lag and pending tick buildup.
Hey Prowl I have a question , is an Obsidian Farm, a wither skeleton/fortress mob farm that doesn't require spawn proofing the nether and a wither rose farm possibe for Bedrock Edition ?
Yes but the rates are super low
They are. I’m pretty sure all three can be found on Silentwisperer’s channel.
Now that you mention it, you could probably put a wither rose farm at the bottom of one of these for pretty good rates…
I made this on Xbox and it nearly broke the console 😂 works great but if you're like me you may want to set the clock to the slowest speed. Got like 50 levels in 60 seconds, two double chests filled in less than that. Had to turn off mob spawning because the lag was so bad I couldn't even make it to the off switch lever
Hi Prowl ! This farm totally works, but I wonder how much flint and steel are needed for a 12 hour afk session. Can you please give an estimate assuming i'd run a 2 portal setup on a 4-tick speed ? I'm on a ps4 console so crafting flint and steel takes a long period of time 😞!
Also, I wanted to let you know that I built a lava-ticking version as well and it doesn't seem to spawn any zigglins ... I'm not sure why, but the portal ticking is working with a setup of 2 crimson planks 21 across to hold the lava on each side ... and 42 observers looking at each other underneath the lava for updating the fire to spread in order to trigger the portal ticking mechanics. It was a more reliable design than one with trapdoors or doors but again, no spawns what so ever 😞!
Maybe Mojang has nerfed those kind of farms ? Any idea how to do a lava-ticking farm
Not sure if you ever got this figured out or not, but Crimson and Warped Planks are non flammable. They won't catch fire to ignite the portal.
this confused me but he said 23 blocks and when i did it i didnt count the first one we already placed so its either 23 counting the first block or he messed up and its 22 because it worked when i shortened it on either side by 1
Edit: sorry he clarified it was 23 by 23 so my bad
Gonna have to get some materials for this lol
Replace the water with powder snow for faster results and more reliable
Was just checking as was going to say the same
Lava works too as it flows much slower than water
@@DarBibkus you don't want the lava the mess with the water or you going to destroy the water mob transport system if it breaks. Then it would be worst then the water.
Powder snow does not flow. Worst case scenario lose a bucket per machine break. Which mostly happens during unintentional logout or forgetting to turn off the system.
@@Dragoon42 not an issue if you replace the water transportation with a waterless way to move mobs but thats basically changing the whole farm
@@DarBibkus even a non water-based mob transportation would be destroyed by lava flow unless you use lava which is slower than the other methods. For my gold Farm I use activator rails with the Minecarts to transfer the mobs.
Hi great video does this still work in 1.19 thanks
0:20 hey.. what's that resource pack that tells you if you're in a chunk edge/corner? I have one but it's at the bottom left and it's hard to see it
nevermind, I guess
Does it have to be on hard or can it be done in peaceful?
I notice something , with a bicon force 2 AND waterlog one piston , with appalling 5 trident , the mob die faster
Double trident killer was easy to add but kinda want to add another, full speed ain’t no joke.
If you could do a tutorial for the lava portion I’d really appreciate it. Can’t find a way to marry the 2 together to save my life
Check out JCplayz gold farm tutorial
Use a recent tutorial nothing works before about Jan
Which way do I put the platforms and mob water transport if my portals are facing the Z axis?
@19:58 - When Prowl says "Fire Tick", does he mean "Fire Spread"?
Do you have to build it in chunks
this is better than navy nexus’ quad portal farm?
What's the drop rate with looting 3?
I have a gold farm that is very similar, but doesn't use the drop mechanic. puts them into a trident killer. I've had problems with the baby ones somehow glitching through the side of the trident killer somehow.
To stop the babies from glitching through, you have to add A second layer or blocks around the trident killer, or the pistons can push them through the corners
Can we use powder snow instead of a water bucket? We can also save on fence gates and it'll also not flow down.
Test It and Tell to us
@@ismaelescalada8701 Actually, I just saw navy nexus gold farm(the one in the description) and that uses powdered snow, so I guess it works.
Yes
Just a 2 portal system lags my system 😂 i5 laptop with 3060 not the best pairing. Glad I have feather fall 3 when building this too… 😳
Can you like show all the items needed so i can get them in advance before i build the farm bruv
my problem is that people say 2x3 for a small portal meaning the area of the window and then the big portal they say 23x23 meaning the block count on each side. this isnt just here, its on the bedrock wiki as well. so I built the portal 23x23 window so the block count was 25x25 on the sides and it didnt work so in a creative I found out that you/prowl meant the block count. that would have been cleared up if prowl built one side of a portal instead of just a corner. the portal size is 21x21, unless I am mistaken and my minecraft is different to this one.
What is it the inside part or frame
Can you make this of 1.19 as i dont know why the portal are not litting up from lava can anyone tell why?
Do you know why I get pigmen but it isn't as op? You have them spawning at a rapid rate, while mines is the equivalent of an mob spawner
Guys if ur portal doesn't light properly u can use lava lighting method it works the same..... This portal lighting problem maybe bcz of lag ......✌🏻
A tip for everboy who has problems with the redstone system: Delete the lever on the dispensers cause they interrupt the ticking system.
Right I put a chest up there with some levers and what not for any routine maintenance I might need to do.
i fucking love you bro
I don’t think you can build gold ticking farms under ground fyi. I built one recently down in a cave I found and I had to move it up above 0 on the y axis. Hopefully this saves some folks some heartache
Thanks
I build this but when i turn off with a lever 3 of the 4 portals stay on but dont flicker. Even though they dont flicker pigs still come through!? Help!!
