Totally agree!! Ganging up on the groom saying "but it's what she wants" "but it's what she wants" then you pay up because it is your daughter and it is completely unfair that the entire budget is falling on just the groom's shoulders and then not respect the budget that he set. The parents shouldn't even be at the appointments in my opinion unless they are contributing financially or can be a voice of reason and respect the budget.
Quite unusual for Indian parents on both the bride and groom’s side to contribute nothing financially to the wedding. At the very least they would be buying the clothes and the jewelry and accessories etc.
The bride is super bossy and does not respect her mate wishes. He should have seriously re-considered if he wants a lifetime of it. I feel sorry for him.

Since her family lived on a farm she said, “They NEVER WENT HUNGRY but their clothes were in tatters”. People should watch a program “till debt do us part” about the problem with DEBT.
We got married in 1975 also with around 75 guest, church wedding and reception at church hall, buffet lunch. The whole thing including my dress , taxido rentals and pictures ect, came to $1000, and no debts.
my parents got married on a serious budget and have been married 25 years and their relationship survived cancer and me [their kid] being severely disabled and coming out as transgender. you absolutely don't need to spend a lot to have a memorable wedding or a good relationship

Why are the Indian outfits the brides on this show pick out so hideous!? I'm an Indian wedding photographer and this is as tacky as it gets I don't understand
My husband and I worked as caterers at so many wedding that we really didn’t care to have a “fancy” wedding. All together, we spent about $5000 total on everything, honeymoon included. Mind you, a few things were gifted or lent to us, like the cake. We were going to get a sheet cake from Costco, but a friend who had been a pastry chef offered to make us our cake as a gift. People liked the cake so much that none of it came home with us. lol. People were going up for second slices.
Training a dog a few weeks before wedding is madness. This dog was never disciplined or given basic proper training n now u expect him to learn everything
Damn. I got a bridal lehenga, my husbands sherwani, his shoes with the dupattas and shawl for $3,500 all custom made where I chose the designs. And I thought ours was a lot 😳
I have a great idea fora new show. Why don’t you revisit some of these couples -7 or 10 years later, start short clip of actual wedding then - “Where are they today”? It would make very interesting show! Are they still together? Families? Ideas about money etc! I think a lot of people would watch..but has to be before as well as after! 🇨🇦👏🤔
How can anyone marry her with such an attitude and no respect? And on top of that she is a teacher? Omg what she must be teaching to students? To yell at people around them, make themselves feel a better person than others and disrespect??? This guy is fu*ed up for his life

I am sure she works too. it is both of their money that they are spending. I think she was being reasonable this time, and she was willing to compromise.
They both are disrespectful, along with being rude. She is such a bossy narcissist controlling manipulator attitude type. Never have I heard of Indian families not contributing financial to weddings. They both trigger abuse, emotional and mental abuse! She should get two jobs since wanting two dresses! She has no consideration for the budget or his ideas!
The guy should have walked out on the trident tent. Hats off he's got too much patience for this Karen. I can already imagine the leash she's gonna put on him after marriage.and the dog will still be more important than the poor guy. I feel so sorry for him
"why should I have to sacrifice nice shoes because you're short". Wow... some love... I'm getting married in less than a year and my future husband is a little shorter than me and I will be more than happy to wear flats under my wedding dress so I don't overpower him on OUR wedding day. These couples make me sad. How can you promise yourself to a person for life if you don't even appreciate them for who they are. Baffling.
Way to choke your poor dog! 😡 I get they n the dog are learning but at least get a harness! It can do so much damage to pull n choke a dog like she is doing, bordering on abuse as she just keeps doing it. I think this show is from 2006. 15 years ago a lot of people didn't get harnesses for there dogs. Sadly. I think today the trainer would definitely say something!
