- Join along as we wrap up Field spreading at Chambers Valley after a successful past few days. With the last Load I almost test my luck to much. Then home bound for some transmission tinkering on the combine. Thanks for watching along.
Hey Chris! That was me in the ACS truck with the Duffy AG hat on. We were out there pulling soil samples for the farm and the neighboring farms. Appreciate you stopping and saying hello. Class act!
Nice slick recovery!
10th generation farmer went from bunk to upright silos
Hey Chris how long does it take fill that tank?
Out here in Western Washington state, we mainly have silage pits, but in the mid 80's a few Harvestore silos popped up around here.....we called them "blue tombstones" as they used to paint the farm's name on them and most guys that put them up went broke and shut down. I was a kid then, but I think they were pretty spendy to build and the milk price crashed in that same time period. An upright silo seems like a lot of work to me compared to a pit silo, but I understand the concept of better feed quality and no spoilage.
Yep I heard the blue tombstone reference alot years ago and the story that when they were paid for harvester would put the flag on it for free. You know that not true because harvester didn't do anything for free!
I call jb weld. Get the job done glue.
As always enjoy your content can you do you baby and I'll keep watching
I will say this about silo's at least you don't need to worry about leachate when the DNR shows up. I know most of the big farms doing anything else other than bunk or pile is problematic. Alot depends on what situation the farm is in for what is best. In my current position I wish I still had my 16x50 stave then I would have no problems with corn silage on the property.
Why wouldn’t you get att? Best service in rural NY than any other carrier
Break out the pressure washer
Oh no.... getting the book out ?
Lol 😂😂😂
I agree, hook it to a tre!
Chris that was fantastic nice to see Robert helpingthank you great video enjoyed it

Here we go !!!!!!!!

About the combine, colate all you're vids about repairs and servicing indexed for future use. And it would be interesting to watch.
I have to question why 36 people would hit the like button 2 minutes after the video is uploaded on RUclips and the video is 16 minutes long. Duffy could be just showing piles of cow shit and 36 people like it 😂😂
Yep, that's it the secret is out.
Just because you see that the video posted 2 minutes ago doesn't mean it did. They post at 4 oclock eastern time. I'm seeing this at 4:58 eastern time and you made your comment 25 mins ago so by the time you commented it had been online for almost 35 minutes. Can take longer for this to become available to you depending where you live.
@@mattiantorno2241😂😂😂😂
don't see an issue with this
We would probably watch him watch corn grow…..😊
Those silos are dangerous
