Jeezz, she gets hammered and no calls on the play! Refs are bad and the coach needs to step up. CC should get out of the dump ASAP. If not, she will get seriously hurt!
CC makes a lot of fouls against other players. You can't cry when it only benefits CC. She has crossed the line too many times already Please stop making excuses for CC. Not fair. If you are actually watching and understanding basketball.
It's one thing to complain after play stops. It's a problem when you are complaining and the ball is live. You just put your team defense in a 5 on 4 situation. Situational awareness.
She's usually correct. The game against the Lynx was ridiculous, there were 5 possessions at the basket in the 3rd quarter they were fouled and no call. The game was handed to the Lynx. Boston and CC among others were irate. I really started thinking about betting lines and shady business. It was really just the 3rd quarter... very strange.
It has been said before, there are levels to what is happening right now. The performance of Clark and Mitchell being the backcourt to beat has been attacked by disrespecting Mitchell's contributions as voiced by Clark. Kelsey deserved a player of the week and or month Acknowledged by Clark many times. The league is being devious here, right alongside the legacy media. After watching this Minnesota game over and over, some 20 points (free throws or possession changes) uncalled fouls or fouls applied to the fever are obvious. The questionable fouls I did not count. LoL The success of the WNBA apparently remains with the corporate brain trust and the gambling interests who pull their strings. When outcomes are dependent on gambling, and agendas to maintain them in place you no longer have a sport. What you have is only organized cartels controlling their books. To their benefit.
She'll get the this lazy ass commissioner to be harder on these refs it's not only her complaining other players starting to speak up about how bad they are
In this specific game the refs allowed far more contact from the Lynx players in the paint. They called minor natural contact on Fever players throughout the third and fourth quarter. That makes players nuts over time.
Every.Single.Player does that. CC just happens to always be on the camera and takes it a bit too far at times. That said, she should temper her emotions a bit and channel it into her play more.
That was one of the worst displays of officiating I've seen in a long long time. Those refs should be either disciplined or replaced. And I'm not just saying this because it was the Fever. I've been watching a bunch of teams this year, and it happens almost every game. It's ridiculous! Either make the calls evenly, or don't call them at all.
caitlin has been complaining way too much. sides even had to take her out of the game because she was so upset. the refs suck, but you have to just suck it up and overcome it. getting upset accomplishes nothing.
Clark is reacting because Sides is a complete amateur game manager. The coach should be managing the refs, the game , and the players. She never challenges, never defends her players , and leaves them out to dry. The result is the team captain in this case Clark , ends up having to do the yapping. Sides is such an amateur. No timeouts, to settle the team. No getting in the refs ear about the calls. Please get a coach w experience
I'm surprised she hasn't thrown the basketball into the stands yet during one of her tantrums. She acts her age - young - sometimes. She knows the refs in this league are awful, and not all her teammates play on her level. Frustrating, I'm sure.
Of course she should complain, just don’t expect them to act like professional refs, cuz they’re obviously not. Smacking the backboard pylon in frustration deserves a technical because it disrespects the game, unlike flat out assault, which apparently doesn’t disrespect the game. But she needs to realize that letting the refs take you out of the game mentally or physically is self-defeating (laying on the court while your team is going down court trying to defend).
The refs were terrible and yes Clark does complain too much. No big deal, that’s just something experience will cure. One thing she needs to understand is that officials are biased; young and inexperienced teams just don’t get calls, winning experienced teams do. I think MJ is the greatest, but as he started racking up championships, oddly enough the Bulls started getting more favorable calls and plenty of non-calls. MJ also learned how to work the refs. It may not be fair, but it’s just how the game goes.
Foul shots for this game: Lynx 20/25…….80% Fever 11/13…….84.6% Lynx got 20 pts just by shooting foul shots. That to me was the difference in the game. Lynx got to the foul line 2X the amount the Fever got there. Take that away and Fever won the game.
I love watching the Fever. But they are doing themselves a disservice thinking they played good defence when the other team was simply ice cold. They need to look in the mirror and play better D. Simple as that. Effort level is not on sides, though. These are professional athletes. They get paid to be mentally prepared every game. The coach shouldn't have to motivate or inspire them all game like they are kids. Still, most players struggle with getting mentally prepared to go out and "Get it" every game. CC doesn't have that problem as much as she just need to learn how to channel her emotions better when she is frustrated.
Fever players and coach know exactly what they should be doing to play Lynx. It's just some players can not excute. Is that simple. NEED WAY BETTER POWER FORWARD!!
that ref with the ponytail never gives the fever calls. CC was mad because the refs wouldn't give any of her teammates calls. 17 point swing and it was like the stop calling foul for the Lynx they lived at the line. Emotional refs are the worst kind if you know what I mean.
80% of the fouls against the fever were called by the same ref. Not a good look of impartiality on his part, the question I have is was he just luvky to be standing in the right spot when a foul hapoened? Or is there another reason that doesn't make me sound like a conspiracy wing nut?
One of the main reasons I have never really had much time for basketball is that most of the time, reffing is as arbitrary as a coin toss. I don’t mind many of the close-calls, which realistically can’t be seen except in slow-mo playback, but when there is a CLEAR foul, such as a few I’ve seen since following the WNBA (and not just on CC) where a player has literally hit an opponent in the head, I want to see that called for what it is, immediately. I’m a fan of Rugby Union and Rugby League (two different games) and I can tell you that if a player strikes another player in the head that will be a penalty of ten minutes off the field, leaving you team one man less, plus the other team gets a scoring opportunity, or territorial gain opportunity. That’s for a simple contact between hand, amr, or shoulder, and the head of an opposing player. If it’s obviously an intentional contact, the penalties are more severe, with the offending player’s team playing the remainder of the game minus one player, but the offending player WILL be fined, as well as being suspended for SEVERAL games. For these reasons, Rugby players try NOT to hit opposition players in the head accidentally. They don’t always succeed in that aim, but that’s the way it goes. Any playerm in either form of Rugby, who throws a punch at another player on the field wil be instantly sent from the field for the duration of the game, plaus face the penalties I mentioned before and that happens whether or not they actually make contact. The intent is what constitutes the fould and both Rugby Union and Rugby League ruling bodies take a hard line approach to stamping out such behaviour. LIfe time bans have been levelled on rare occasions. If basketball allows such assaults to go unpunished, then I’m afraid I don’t have much time for it as a sport, as it is far above all other sports as a producer of serious injury, including boxing, which is ridiculous. Either the ruling bodies clean that aspect of the game up, or they will find it falling in popularity as parents begin to forbid their children to take it up when they learn that Basketball is head and shoiulders the most injury producing team sport in existence.
It’s ok to turn and say hey they keep hitting me on the arm etc, but then move on. You have to play through the referee. Lying on the floor and leaving her team hanging is unacceptable. CC is going to get a technical because she can’t control her emotions and her mouth. Time to grow up. This team depends on CC leadership. CC brought the entire team down. Learn any move on. CC is 22 years old but she has to step up. Learn, grow and move on. Go Indiana Fever
Yes. It's not that she might not have a point with some of the calls that were being made yesterday, it's that she needs to work through them. Let those plays go, and her coach should have called a time out and reset the team instead of taking Clark out of the game. Then when somebody 's shooting free throws, or there's a pause, you go and talk to the ref in a lower voice and just ask questions, say what's going on to you, like Jordan used to do. That's going to get you a lot more calls than throwing your hands out and screaming
But also, Christie Sides needs to take some responsibility. Her rotations are insane. Temi and Lexie are our strongest defensive weapons. They should have played 30+ minutes ESPECIALLY against the Lynx!! Why isnt Temi guarding Collier??? Katie Lou hasnt played well ALL SEASON, no hate, girl go take care of your baby this season and come back prepared next season!!! There is no shame in that. It is better for Katie Lou AND the team if she takes a back seat the rest of this season!
When Diana Taurasi said there were levels to this im asuming she meant . The Flops , the Ref cheating, the hard fouls, and so on then come the talent. Caitlin is going to adjust and take over, her skill will do the talking.
Not complaining too much. She got hacked at the end of the game by Collier. AB has had a call in the paint as she’s being grab or elbowed almost everytime. If they called it equally it wouldn’t be a problem. The number of freethrows is telling. The skill experience of the refs in the WNBA has to improve just like the players and league are improving.
Caitlin has always been emotional on the court. It's part of her competitive nature. Sometimes she can reign it in, other times she'll just let the refs have it. Lisa Bluder was always trying to get that part of her game under control...with various levels of success. After watching Caitlin for several years, she'll do her best to try and control it, but it will come back again. Just who she is. But it's hard to blame her. WNBA officiating can be ridiculously bad at times.
I think she kind of lost the plot last night, and Sides had to take her out of the game until she calmed down. Last night she was brilliant, but also every bit the 22 year old rookie and it cost the team in the end. Hopefully she and the team can learn from it before the playoffs start.
How dare she lay on the floor like a 3 yr old, and not hustle back on defense. She knows the officials suck. She needs to accept it and focus on her game. She's effecting her whole team with her tantrums.
reading that tirade, I imagine CC rolling around like a soccer player after every touch and wrong call game after game...but then I remember actually watching the games.
I agree she is the leader, she can't sulk she has to step up, 34/35 games into the season you know the refs suck as a player you adjust, as a bball player if the refs are calling the reach in you have to move your feet more and play position D when I played baseball if an ump is calling the outside strike where the catcher is an inch or two off the plate but if the pitcher hits the target its a strike, 2nd or 3rd time up you hit the ball to the opposite field, when the refs are in your head its never a good thing
The refs are bad. Aja was complaining about them too. Caitlin reminded me of Sabrina, another fiery one towards the refs, the other night when she said "Call the bleepin" foul!" Sabrina got T'd when yelling that same thing at the refs. Clark needs to be careful and not get a 7th T.

League's a joke .....l don't think they want the new fans, they want it on their own terms, with regards to the whole Leftist agenda.
25 fouls called on the Fever. 13 on Lynx. Refs were corrupt
@@jaylucas8352 Thanks for the info. When you can't foul them and they can foul you, you'll all get mad. Sides is learning too. She'll learn to jump in and receive the technical to calm her team down or protect her player.
I think there was 3 on Mitch on one drive and the zebras called it ball out on Mitchell
@@jaylucas8352 80% of the fever calls came from one ref. Not a good show of impartiality. Did he just happen to be standing in exactly the right spot when a fever fouled? Orbwas there another reason that might make me sound less like a conspiracy nut job?
There were multiple times she could've 100% gotten a tech last night, I think there's instruction from the league not to give her anymore to avoid suspension.
She is going to be a great sports commentator or analyst one day.
Sides should have at least challenged some of those missed call or sometime. It was fucking bad!!!!
Sides should resign and take Dunn with her.
I'd complain too if I got a T for slapping the padding.
and then I saw others do it, not punch but slammed their palm, and nada, their whistles aren't working😢
She was right to complain. The refs were throwing the game.
Yea complain but u don’t stop playing.. there’s always breaks/pauses in the game where u stand next to the ref n complain. U don’t jus stop playing. She’ll be better after this game. Aces should be scared for the coming games lol
Refs gambled on the game. Making parlay bets. We all saw it. WNBA needs to handle this
@@jaylucas8352 What? They don't bet on the games.
80% of the fever calls were called by the same ref. Not a good look for impartiality for the ref. Was he shut happen to be the ref on the spot, or is there another reason that makes me sound less like a conspiracy nut job?
@@jaylucas8352 Fat chance. WNBA gambled, too.
Yes she is! She has the same problem LeBron has, please stop crying and get back on defense
It shouldn’t get to this point where her playing goes down because she’s so aggravated by the refs. This is where Sides should have spoken on her behalf and taken a T
Sides still hasn’t got a T. She’s such an amateur coach
Very soft fouls called on Fever and hard fouls not called on Lynx. Strongly shades the game and is terrible. Makes WNBA look shabby. She has every right to be furious.
What about Temi staying in US to work out with Caitlin during off season, so she gets better?
Caitlin's playing is unreal. We love that she is a passionate competitor. The Fever feeds off that. That is a good and bad thing. 🙂☹️
While I believe she'll grow and mature to reign in her emotions, it literally can cost the team a possible championship this year if she doesn't do it soon.
We believe in you, 22! 🏀👏🏽
Lol. Only reason they’re even in the playoffs is Clark. She ain’t cost them nothing .
That’s 12 extra free throws that’s the game right there they lost by 11 that’s the game. I complain too.
Reggie Miller did it for years...We love him in here n INDY....LET CC22 be who she is ...those Refs do suck especially Baldy
She has to complain because the coach is doing nothing.
Caitlin is responsible for her emotions but I do think when you get that upset that it’s hard to quickly get back in it. She needs a Kate Martin that can a) know what to say to her and b) hold her accountable so she can get her stuff together knowing that “Kate” will be there to both call her out and support her
It will be a miracle if Caitlin Clark doesn't get suspended with the way that she's been acting
They’ll never suspend her period
@@AceFarRockIf they do they will just prove people have been right all along and these jealous and ignorant people hate her
WNBA needs to suspend these refs. They’re betting parlays online.
Please………..I’ve seen far worse from veteran players. Just check out DT. She literally gets in the refs face and screams at them. Same with A’ja.
When the other team gets 25 free throws in your team only gets 13 you oughta complain
Well let's think about it. What have they really done the hard fouls, nothing.
20% of all the flagrant in th league were on Clark. No suspensions for the goons hitting her
Jeezz, she gets hammered and no calls on the play! Refs are bad and the coach needs to step up. CC should get out of the dump ASAP. If not, she will get seriously hurt!
What we learned is Fever has to outscore to win.. do not ever rely on the refs.. we never know if they are paid or something..
There’s nothing there once cc is gone!!! The refs are worth investigating!
Please do. They’re gambling
@@jaylucas8352 This professional sports and gambling are for money laundering.
Those refs are terrible but she needs to chill
Do you know who complained to the refs a lot, especially when he was younger?.... Wayne Gretzky
No…the refs need to do their job!
She might not have to challenge the refs if her coach did.
Caitlin is more Luka than Lebron…..
Robin, I really enjoy your videos and articles. You’re fair all around.
Bingo!!
When will Christie take responsibility.
Fire her. Clark’s doing her job.
never
She'll get the this lazy ass commissioner to be harder on these refs it's not only her complaining other players starting to speak up about how bad they are
She looks like she has to becuz the coach sure wont do it for them.
She acted like a two-year-old little kid.She should apologize to all the fans
Look at which refs are NOT calling fouls when someone fouls her. Refs are biased too
In this specific game the refs allowed far more contact from the Lynx players in the paint. They called minor natural contact on Fever players throughout the third and fourth quarter. That makes players nuts over time.
Every.Single.Player does that. CC just happens to always be on the camera and takes it a bit too far at times. That said, she should temper her emotions a bit and channel it into her play more.
CC will literally not get back on defense because she's busy crying. Not every player does that....
Yes. Thank you.
She is just super competitive, and hard to contain her passion for winning.
The refs did us in
That was one of the worst displays of officiating I've seen in a long long time. Those refs should be either disciplined or replaced. And I'm not just saying this because it was the Fever. I've been watching a bunch of teams this year, and it happens almost every game. It's ridiculous! Either make the calls evenly, or don't call them at all.
Quit it CC.
The refs were biased; clear favoritism
$$$$$$$
caitlin has been complaining way too much. sides even had to take her out of the game because she was so upset. the refs suck, but you have to just suck it up and overcome it. getting upset accomplishes nothing.
She is young she acts like a 10yr old at times. She will grown
She’s said that about herself in interviews. Recently she said she is 22 but acts like she’s 10. She’s pretty self aware in reflection.
Its frustrating because she is usually justified in her complaining. Almost always. But its a bad look regardless.
I'm surprised she hasn't thrown the basketball into the stands yet during one of her tantrums. She acts her age - young - sometimes. She knows the refs in this league are awful, and not all her teammates play on her level. Frustrating, I'm sure.
I'd love to see this dude go through the flagrant foul's that she's been targeted and maliciously been through and make this video.
Wish Sides would be more assertive. Way too passive when refs are bad. Sides choked last game badly
Maybe if they hired real refs instead of trying to be inclusive
Foul shots for this game:
Lynx 20/25…….80%
Fever 11/13…….84.6%
Lynx got 20 pts just by shooting foul shots.
That to me was the difference in the game. Lynx got to the foul line 2X the amount the Fever got there. Take that away and Fever won the game.
🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯
Yes. Her attitude and antics were funny and entertaining like everything else she does on a basketball court at least.
Coach has bad defensive strategy. Sending a double and leaving snipers from three point line. Trading 3s for twos. Amateur coach
Yes. Hopefully her father has taken care of it.
Emotional refs are the worst kind if you
know what I mean.
Yep. Collier had like 15 pts at the line, Clark had 2.
You mean the BLACK ref? hmmmmm WNBA Whites Never Be Accepted
80% of the fouls against the fever were called by the same ref. Not a good look of impartiality on his part, the question I have is was he just luvky to be standing in the right spot when a foul hapoened? Or is there another reason that doesn't make me sound like a conspiracy wing nut?
@@jaylucas8352 Bingo. Lynx won by 11. Free throws decided the game.
Refs are rigged
The refs won the game for the lynx. She should've gotten a tech but I'm glad she didn't lol
Nope. Time to retire from the Woke NBA and go play in China.
CC and especially AB have been getting awful treatment from the refs. It's been objectively bad
Caitlin needs to go to Europe and play for a year or two.
🎯🎯🎯
These refs about made me snap out. The Fever gets a terrible whislte. They don't even try to hide it. And the coach won't stand up for them! 😰
Rigged.
No, bad coach making her star do her job is the problem. Need a real coach.
How dare she lay on the floor like a 3 yr old, and not hustle back on defense. She knows the officials suck. She needs to accept it and focus on her game. She's effecting her whole team with her tantrums.
BS, she is however effecting scoring, hustle she embodies the won't give up attitude.
reading that tirade, I imagine CC rolling around like a soccer player after every touch and wrong call game after game...but then I remember actually watching the games.
Nah. This league needs to handle the corrupt refs
Yes. Thank you.
Those are not REFS!!!
i see people complaining about stuff like this then i remember half this team isnt even old enough to rent a car. they will grow and learn over time
Starters are all 24 or less except Kelsey
Since the mid 80s all players complain to refs, every call.
She has almost flipped me to supporter with the way she has handled the jealousy from others. However, now she is reverting to the antics that labeled her the biggest crybaby in college basketball.
