100% MWZ was like warzone. But bo6 is nothing like warzone. The armour is the only thing. It has more MP with the loadouts when you spawn in then kills streaks. The map size is not warzone size it's mp size. You don't need to loot boxes to get items. And there is no storm closing the map up.
So about the HUD, I noticed the perk selection and the scoreboard both had this dark/cloudy/foggy look to them, I hope they make the HUD look more like that. That was actually pretty cool looking and was miles ahead of CWs very basic menus.
@@extratiredcat121 oh yes, saying what I’d like them to do with the mode is D riding is it? Grow up! No wonder this community is seen as a complete joke sometimes. 🙄
It’s becoming more and more common for a product to keep getting watered down for “mass appeal.” I can only speculate but I think it’s due to increasingly analytics-based decision making. You know, “Warzone players like salvage so if we put salvage in zombies they’re more likely to play it” type of board room bullshit.
On the Liberty Falls being the casual map; they’ve been doing this since BO1. Kino, The Giant, IX… Casual pick up and play maps, to play opposite the more experienced map. Liberty Falls is to Terminus, what The Giant was to Shadows. And they’ve said they went back to more classic Easter Egg difficulties thanks to the addition of Guided Mode. Hopefully the DLC has a good offering of complex maps, that aren’t totally inaccessible. But that can only be judged when the full map cycle is out, I feel.

i think the idea that making a zombies map thats "beginner friendly" and "inviting to outside players" requires you to wash it out is the craziest jump in logic that i have seen a developement team make, The Giant on black ops 3 is THE beginner zombies map, and that oozes with the zombies flavours that really get you interested and make it feel like you are playing TREYARCH ZOMBIES. Washing out the maps to appeal to the masses i feel will just lead to It not appealing to anyone at all, being aggressively creative visually is one of the greatest staples of cod zombies as a whole and that idea isnt going to be lost on people who are just coming over, If anything they would probably have some nice things to say about it.
They are calling it a work in progress when there’s 2 months till launch but every one’s praising this game because it’s the first time devs have had time to focus on just this game and it’s showing they don’t know what they are doing at treyarch and honestly activision as a whole
Them changing the atmosphere of the maps or HUD still doesn't change the fact that this years Zombies looks like a mix of Warzone Zombies with Armor Plates, Chopper Gunners etc. Glad they take some feedback atleast though.
I have never understood why the scorestreaks are considered a bad thing. They are simply another option to kill zombies and you can just choose not to use them.
@@FourDozenEggspeoples issue is that like chopper gunner is a get out of jail free card, are seen as lazy as they arent customized to zombies and they aren’t expensive. I like them but thats why people see scorestreaks as a bad thing

A "beginner zombies map" as I imagine it is like Town and Farm from BO2, or The Giant (Der Riese), not a full zombies map with no zombies aesthetics. You can have a beginner map that looks and feels very zombies
If it is a map that has zombies in it, it's a zombies map. Regardless of if it's set in the day, or at night. I liked the fact they had 1 map of each. Let new players get used to the methods of RBZ in a day map, before travelling to Terminus.
I’m actually one of those hardcore zombies fans that misses the smaller simpler maps like verruckt/nacht der untoten. All you do is flip on the power, get ur gun from the box, and survive. I think that’s all she meant when she said simpler/casual. I’m not sure why everyone thinks they’re trying to appease to the war zone players. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone on their team say that.
I don’t think this is the case, they would’ve benefited way more from having a good looking map off the bat because cod next has already turned many people away from that map wether it gets an update or not
i’ll say it’s cool that they’re even making any changes. that’s pretty unprecedented. all that being said, this did nothing to entice me. hoping i’m wrong but i saw what i saw. even terminus doesn’t look how it should/could

I think Kino Der Toten is a perfect example of a chill zombies map for beginnings that still caters to hardcore zombie fans. Along with the hud zombies feels too easy. Plates should be removed along with field upgrades.
Meanwhile Bo2 only got 2 years of development and look how good Zombies was in that. They really do waste their time making bad choices to make such maps like this liberty falls.

It's sounds a bit suspicious. I mean think about it: terminus island looked really good, even for just being months away from launch, why didn't liberty balls look the same? I think it was a straight map ported from multi-player, and when they got the backlash, they turned to damage control and decided to fix it.
"so you can jump straight in" who tf cares, if they don't like zombies, they are not going to jump right in. They are just not going to play. Why change the whole game to give way to the minority who won't even play zombies long.
Exactly! Can we also not forget zombies chronicles dlc being the highest sold dlc? I don't really know where I'm going with that one, but they did that for the zombies fans
Queen’s interview with the Bo3 art guys this week was pretty eye opening. They use to actually care about zombies and spend a lot of effort on it. Zombies has lost its identity and it isn’t going back to what it use to be.
7:04 “(random noise) we’ll see what happens” idk if that’s what she said exactly but that’s what it sounds like.. YOURE MAKING ME CARE ABOUT ZOMBIES AGAIN 😢😢
The atmosphere isn’t even the big issue. It’s the Warzone mechanics and Warzone hud. It doesn’t “feel” like zombies. Someone made a video of Terminus gameplay but with every previous hud from WAW-BO4 and it looks beautiful on all of them. Someone also put the Bo6 hud over some WAW nacht gameplay and my god it looked horrible.
3:45 this. I want treyarch to try and make mp/wz players to fall in love wjth zombies not zombies to be more warzone. Ofc there’s going to be changes to the mode but the more should be tweaked not redesigned
one of the difficulties from my perspective it Terminus, right now, feels very "trust me bro" in that the wider community doesn't have a ton of insight into what it actually looks or feels like.
Its hilarious when he says “vundervaffle” turning from a straight britoid to a “hein hein hein”😭😭😭😭
So about the HUD, I noticed the perk selection and the scoreboard both had this dark/cloudy/foggy look to them, I hope they make the HUD look more like that. That was actually pretty cool looking and was miles ahead of CWs very basic menus.

i think the idea that making a zombies map thats "beginner friendly" and "inviting to outside players" requires you to wash it out is the craziest jump in logic that i have seen a developement team make, The Giant on black ops 3 is THE beginner zombies map, and that oozes with the zombies flavours that really get you interested and make it feel like you are playing TREYARCH ZOMBIES.
Like for real. What’s so wrong with a zombies flavor?.. My very first map was the first zombies map ever made.. nacht?!!
Casual is not beginner. You're confusing those two.
Casual is for people who don't spend much time playing.
You are correct mate!

Trearch have been helping iw and sledge with zombies and ranked over these years. This stuff impacts the efficiency and quality of the time available
I don't like how they are making the Map that is associated with Richtofen one of the most important characters in Zombies a more casual map.
Kevin Sherwood coming back just made my hype go up
Them changing the atmosphere of the maps or HUD still doesn't change the fact that this years Zombies looks like a mix of Warzone Zombies with Armor Plates, Chopper Gunners etc.
Glad they take some feedback atleast though.
Nothing makes this ratarded community happy. The biggest problem is the hud and atmosphere
Armor plates not a big deal just dont use em. Chopper gunners are fun so why not?
