The maps having a theme and atmosphere, imagine maps like Kino, Nacht, and then Shangri La and Buried, all had their own theme and atmosphere which made them unique, Buried even had its own HUD 5. I actually love the Nazi zombies theme, the story being about something going wrong by the Nazis when they were doing experiments, this added a feel and vibe to the maps. @gxtodd While I agree that zombies ain't a "niche" in some perspectives, he has a good point on how it doesn't get enough players in, and there's a reason why bo6 zombies feels like MWZ. It's because you are.gonna have every 2023 player transition to Bo6 and a lot of them are used to mwz mechanics minus the grindy scavenging systems I think treyarch is moving forward and doing it right because they are experimenting and trying to build new aspects within zombies because if they kept listening to us then we'd be playing WaW at high graphics with zero game changes.
Lol they realised they didnt need any of that to sell skins to warzone players lol just packagw warzone again and youll get an extra $50 out of each warzone dweeb
I think you're loosing the plot majorly, there's obviously passion but when devs are at the mercy of Activision making them do things they don't want to do it ends up being not as good. I loved cold war zombies even if it's not perfect it's fun and outbreak was honestly pretty cool even if it was just using fire team as it's map.
@pktpete you can enjoy it, and that's fine. But some people want a deeper experience, and want more than playing as opperators. And that's fine also. Different goals, different gamers. Casual vs in depth is the real argument.

Fun Fact about the bonus maps in BO1: The zombies mode from WaW was forbidden here in Germany and a couple other countries, and outside of importing an Austrian version there was no way to play zombies here. At all. BO1 changed that by finally having a version of the maps without swastikas. Everyone I know, including myself, preordered the prestige version the second they heard it had the zombies mode included. I still don't regret preordering that game to this date.
To fix the aura of the map, they should make it get progressively more "zombified" as you reach higher rounds (perhaps every 5 rounds or after each dog round) that would really make it feel like you are witnessing the outbreak unfold from the very first moments where the town is still pristine, to when the town has been fully overrun and trashed by zombies

Hit the nail on the head for the Giant VS Der Riese THOUGH I will disagree about there not being a reason to play it. Keep in mind at launch, you could either play shadows of evil OR the Giant and I’d be willing to bet that most casual players will choose the Giant over Shadows since Shadows is far too convoluted to have a “casual fun” experience on. The Giant was the perfect “Kino Der toten” map for people who didn’t want RUclips tutorials open on YT and it carried Bo3’s zombies mode for a while. his definition of what a bonus map is is flawed imo, a fifth point should be there to clarify the bonus part is referring to it being there in addition to a already planned/existing primary zombies map. nacht does not make sense to call a bonus map, it's definitely a special case as the entire gamemode didn't exist prior to it. everyone other one is a bonus map whereas nacht would be considered a bonus gamemode. it literally just comes down to how you define it but you're right, based off Milo's 4 metrics it would technically be a bonus map.

I think cause shield parts having multiple locations, and people complaining about them being hard to find was a reason. And with warzone being popular, I’m sure they thought by adding in the plate system they could bring in some familiar mechanics for newer players. I do have to say that the bo1 remastered maps story aren't a 10/10 only because they replace the Marines with the og crew, which is never actually explained, and Dr. Monty in Bo3 just kinda shrugs it aside. This especially gets worse since after Bo1, they do more with the Marines in Verrukt with Smokey and Banana getting a radio in Revelations. Alpha Omega even revealed that the unnamed marine survived along with his name as he is the one that recovers Peter McCain body for Broken Arrow. This, for me personally, hurts the fact that all remaster of the maps just shove ultimis in especially since there's no reason to use the og crew.

I disagree with Classified's lack of pentagon thief being an L. It did enough things right in order to justify leaving the pentagon thief out. Plus it doesn't invalidate going back and playing the original version as much as the other remakes like the giant.
I disagree with you only because I think Treyarch needs to be kept reminded of how creative Zombies enemies can (and have) been. A lot of their more recent ones have just been... tankier with special attacks, a lot less creative than the previous games giving them unique mechanics and abilities beyond damage-dealing. Replacing the Pentagon Thief with the dogs felt like the first step toward a slippery slope of losing some of that special experimentation Zombies was known for.
This is why hate the trend of super early gameplay reveals. The game is still TWO MONTHS from release yet the community is already treating it like the final product. The main easter egg is not even released yet and it is bound to significantly influence all the final ratings in all of Milo's categories.
I'm starting to think it's just better to think of new zombies as a completely different game than old zombies. Would be better if Liberty Falls wasn't even a thing. I havent enjoyed a CoD since BO4 and stopped buying them, but i was gonna buy BO6 just for the zombies. After ive seen the gameplay, im gonna skip this one too. Zombies is exactly the same as CW and gameplay looks too much like Warzone. Devs are trying to get new players in by making it easier and more like Warzone but it just kills off the fans. Zombies just needs to be its own game instead of part of a $70 yearly live-service game.

@DeathByZombieGames Liberty Falls shouldnt have been a thing because it made people 2nd guess the gameplay of BO6 zombies (or it could've been kept in the game but not been revealed). People wanted BO1-4 zombies, not Cold War/Warzone zombies. I'm fine though, I play on PC so I can go back and play any previous zombies with custom maps. Console players aren't so lucky.

Why do they keep catering to Warzone/Multiplayer players in Zombies! they can go play those gamemodes instead of having to give zombies fucking armour, scorestreaks, salvage and fucking custom classes.
Because zombies is niche and doesn’t get enough players as the other modes, be happy we even get zombies anymore
Because zombies is forever changing if they dont bring in new players the game mode is gonna die out
Zombies, Niche??? Did you pick up a controller yesterday? It’s literally a staple in Treyarch games.
Cry is free
@gxtodd While I agree that zombies ain't a "niche" in some perspectives, he has a good point on how it doesn't get enough players in, and there's a reason why bo6 zombies feels like MWZ. It's because you are.gonna have every 2023 player transition to Bo6 and a lot of them are used to mwz mechanics minus the grindy scavenging systems
I think treyarch is moving forward and doing it right because they are experimenting and trying to build new aspects within zombies because if they kept listening to us then we'd be playing WaW at high graphics with zero game changes.
bro the IMMEDIATE loss of all charm and character from BO4 to CW is hilarious. You can instantly tell all the soul and care was just gone.
Lol they realised they didnt need any of that to sell skins to warzone players lol just packagw warzone again and youll get an extra $50 out of each warzone dweeb
And brainless clowns still defend cold war
I think you're loosing the plot majorly, there's obviously passion but when devs are at the mercy of Activision making them do things they don't want to do it ends up being not as good. I loved cold war zombies even if it's not perfect it's fun and outbreak was honestly pretty cool even if it was just using fire team as it's map.

W lore
To fix the aura of the map, they should make it get progressively more "zombified" as you reach higher rounds (perhaps every 5 rounds or after each dog round) that would really make it feel like you are witnessing the outbreak unfold from the very first moments where the town is still pristine, to when the town has been fully overrun and trashed by zombies

The best the other Bonus Maps has were Music EE's, or small EE's.
@@Sir_Slimbread I don't think he should rate anything a 10/10 without knowing anything about it yet. I get that it's the only one with an EE, but if it's extremely short or just terrible then I still don't think it deserves a 10/10 just because it's there.
@@liam4184you could say that about eating anything on the map at all. He also gave the story a 4/10, when all we have from that is a banger cutscene, and don’t even. Fully know what happens.
He’s rating the fact that it will have a main EE, which compared to the others does score a 10/10.
@@joshuacollins9316 Ok, maybe in that case having EE as a thing to judge is a little stupid considering only one of them has an EE. They should all score 0 expect this one in that case.
@@liam4184 if you watched the vid you know why he scored it that way. Each map has diff forms of minor Easter eggs on their own , so they’re not all 0.
If it weren't for custom zombies on BO3, I don't know what I'd do whenever I wanted good zombies, lol.
For me zombies needs to be dark to some degree to have that horror feel
3:57 is that slander I hear 🤔😂
Had the same reaction lol
Would love a ranking of all zombie maps with this format
Agreed. So interesting
I still am of the opinion that we didn’t see half of liberty falls because the EE is locked.
Leave it to the zombies community to over criticize and kill a map before it even fully releases
Im totally hoping aswell! That maybe they learned from letting playtesters beat the EE in FirebaseZ, so theh mightve have given a demo'd map.
But tbh, it could really be the biggest amount of copium.. and even if they did have a bigger basement level (like five). It wouldnt explain, or take away from the map being too big, with too much space everywhere you go.. 😞
To be fair its still not confirmed if it's locked or not
The cope is real
@@xxstephxx1005look at it bro😐
Shi gets serious when milo whips out the white board
0:56 you just have us 3 reasons why it’s bad
idk why you would rate LF's EE without us even seeing any EE there yet...
It’s rated on the content. He said if the bonus map has a full ee quest it’s a ten. The rest have smaller shit so the numbers varied
LB’s
How do we know we haven’t played it yet
You dont have to eat shit to know it tastes shit
@@katakuri7778Yes you do, you don't know what shit tastes like until you've tasted it.
Yes you'll know it will be bad, but you won't know the taste.
Speaking of which, I need a number 2...brb
@@katakuri7778If you’re looking at a video or photo of shit, you don’t have to physically have your hands on it to know its shit.
@@EagleHDKeep crying that map is a$$
@@rain407 did I say it's good? I'm not even buying BO6 because of zombies being that bad.
the vomit screen clutter ui says it all. it removes all aura and vibe from the game in the same way hitting a large tree at high speed without a seatbelt removes you from a car. tiktok subway surfers dopamine feeder slop. zero target audience.
“All aura” Prooves to me your five
Not to be that guy, but shouldn’t we at least wait until launch to properly rank Liberty Falls? You literally explained the other day in your whiteboard video that we haven’t seen everything Liberty Falls has to offer, and things might change within the map come launch.
Apart from the Easter egg, there is nothing new coming to that map.
He’s doing liberty falls a favor, hate on it now because who knows what if the Easter egg is just nothing with substance ? I hope I’m wrong but tired of hoping
When you first saw Liberty Balls, were you blinded by it's aura?
Zoomers thinking aura is a funny word, your generation is brain rotted to the core 😂
Do ya'll remember the 8 player gamemode on Town? It was like 4v4, 2 teams, first team to have everyone die lost. Such a cool aspect to zombies that we never saw again. Was like the first and only competitive zombie gamemode we ever got.
Babe Milo uploaded…
The lack of the thief hurts the map. It feels wrong for him not to be there. There's no more panic.
Love the honesty and opinions, it’s what needs to happen or we’ll just get mediocre content
Liberty fails
This is why hate the trend of super early gameplay reveals. The game is still TWO MONTHS from release yet the community is already treating it like the final product. The main easter egg is not even released yet and it is bound to significantly influence all the final ratings in all of Milo's categories.
Finally a sane person not in the zombies train.
Two months away after being in development for the last 3-4 years. I think it’s safe to say it won’t look much better lmao
I'm starting to think it's just better to think of new zombies as a completely different game than old zombies. Everything to come out past IW just hasn't felt like og zombies, and even that was pushing it. There's probably still a zombies-specific team working on the gamemode, but it really just feels like they've been told to put zombies in the game, rather than the team pushing their higher ups to let them put it in the game.
All those people that talked shit on bo4 zombies are wishing they had something anywhere close to that atmosphere. eating their words now. This is a piece a shit 😂
