- For the inaugural Silicon Valley Comic Con, Adam wanted to do something special for his incognito cosplay: he walked through the convention as the comic-book version of Hellboy, having first cosplayed as the movie version eight years ago. Watch Adam transform into his favorite comic character, carrying a prop he made in a recent One Day Build!

My suggestion for the mask would be to cut small vent-slits in the horn stubs, like right around the edges of the depressions up top. That way, the hot air that's fogging over the lenses will have somewhere to go.
doesnt work without airflow add a small computer fan on a button cell (watch battery) its quiet and keeps your head cool while keeping the lense from fogging up. personal experience from playing paintball many years.
@@hardwirecars or instead of that complicated crap, use anti fog gel that divers use.
@@Creed-lp4wj well because my idea it keeps you cool as well as keeping the glass from fogging up. also its really not complicated hell its 2 sodders or shit 2 pieces of tap and you are done.

Dylan Jereley Having your wedding ring on doesn't show you're dedicated to your marriage. It just shows you want to pose to others that you're married, as if it's important for others to know. As far as I'm concerned, it's generally those insecure with their marriage wanting to have their rings on always no matter what.

Mr.Savage. Thank you for sharing all of these build / tested/ con videos with us. Not to mention the endless hours you and the Mythbusters team had spent with the show. I for one will miss the show. But very happy to have these videos. Thanks again for being a great inspiration to us.
If you want to REALLY stay incognito, make a really half-assed costume. Make a pepakura Iron Man helmet, but don't finish it properly, then wear a Deadpool T-shirt and you could walk for hours without anyone finding you.
This, but with a full Deadpool costume underneath, just slightly visible through cracks and bits of the pep that are falling apart.

It's a blessing and a curse when you get discovered Adam so quickly at Comic-Con...you are so skilled and use such detail building plus the entourage with you plus your posting videos online the amateur sleuths figure it very quickly....
It was cool how such a little kid had such manners to say "pleasure to meet you" and shake Adam's hand rather than high five him

Next time, get some anti fog gel for lenses that keep fogging up. It's what scuba divers use for their masks, and I don't see why it wouldn't work here. Great video, keep it up guys!

Or just make or buy your own Right Hand of Doom in the style that Odin Makes, made? His demonstration was incredible! He shows us that you can make your own Right Hand and have it fit nicely.

Dunno what it is but I love watching Adam when hes talking bout cosplay or doing it. He looks like a kid in a candy store. Gets excited as all hell and wants EVERYTHING and BE EVERYTHING!! Its awesome to know that Im not the ONLY one that acts like that when it comes to this. :) So ADAM THANKS YOU SO MUCH for making me see Im not alone with getting happy as hell over cosplay!!!! :)

He only needed to paint his left hand and not his right. If you're going to get a Right Hand of Doom you can either paint your right upper arm and elbow burgundy red or wear a dark red morph suit.

+Cornelius Sneed Adam always wear glasses so i guess he only have one pair of lenses and they prolly are for his hellboy costume, so maybe ''the other ones'' were maybe cheaper ones or old ones that he only used for the costume i dont know...
Oh but the other costume was a MOVIE Hellboy, not comicbook Hellboy! It must have had sculpted appliances and makeup for his head, with his actual eyes visible there. So that time the contact lenses were probably both prescription and cosmetic. This time, they are prescription only.

+Daniel McDowell They were his actual contacts, so he didn't need his glasses. :P The mask would probably not work at all if he was wearing his prescription glasses underneath it.

+lehman The reason he wore HEllboy contacts with his first costume is because movie HEllboy has a more human-like face. He couldn't wear glasses AND needed his eyes to match. This time around he was only needing to wear contacts to see.

Cause he wears glasses and they won't fit inside the mask. The contacts he put in were clear, they weren't part of the costume.

I think he is semi-made of stone, and his many battles with powerful creatures have left pockmarks in his tough body rather than normal scars a human might accumulate.

If you look for the Hellboy toy figure you will see these pockmarks. Also if you take a look at the comic books certain low level demons look like they are made of stone. Adams new Hellboy is a mix of Movie Hellboy and Comic Book Hellboy, these being the clothes, belt, tail, and maybe shoes, the comic book part is the mask and chest piece, and the sword is supposed to look like Excalibur, but the comic book version is much different
ComicCon, the only place where a person can walk around with a giant sword and it is mildly normal.
Adam I hope if you ever go to a Texas con you dress as HB cause dude..... I would be in heaven just seeing a well made hellboy cosplay. IN HEAVEN
