    Last December I, a Mongolian passport holder, flew out of Ben Gurion Airport without any questionings about whether I have been to Palestine. I have been, in fact, to Bethlehem. But everything went smooth. They asked some questions like, whether I got any gift from anyone or so. The queue though was very long and they checked my bag really thoroughly.

    • @GabrielTravelerVideos
      @GabrielTravelerVideos  Год назад +14

      They asked me the same questions about whether I'd packed my own bags or received any gifts. Super short lines and they didn't search my bags at all. I won't assume the same the next time, I'm sure it's a bit random, perhaps depending on the current threat level.

I grew up on a Kibbutz about half an hour north of Eilat (on the border with Egypt and Jordan, my Kibbutz is on the border with Jordan. However, I have to admit, Tel Aviv is my favorite city ever! For the vast majority of travelers at Ben Gurion Airport 3 questions are asked by security - Did you pack your bags yourself? Did anyone give anything to put in your bag? And have you been with your bags the whole time? That's not an interrogation, just normal security. If you are acting really nervous or strange, they may ask additional questions. Arriving 3 hours early is usually sufficient time.

      I live in Israel, it's been my experience 3 hours is plenty during peak travel times, especially if you don't have to wait in a long line to check your bags or get a boarding pass - which can take a long time, depending on the airline. If you have your boarding pass on your phone & can express check your luggage or just have carry-on, the only line you have to worry about is security. It's a good idea to call the airline or check the website first & they can advise you if you have to leave earlier.

      They use Zelinsky for one purpose to get rid of dissatisfied people and the government is aimed and made to solve economic problems by setting up a war and Ukraine another picture to help to get back in power and let the war get rid of pensioners and all debts and unnecessary people once again gets rid of problems, and we people interfere with the rich and incumbent president to manage the war. The president and neither side went to the ceasefire and it means that the genocide in two points was organized, the war helps the economy in the West and was quoted in a Russian newspaper. People have become dumber and do not understand what is happening. And the authorities do not change that they brought to genocide not guilty neither one side nor the other. Media say one thing, victims say another, and presidents do not want to hear another. They want to block the world from others, block RUclips and continue to gossip about what is good and what is bad, that power, that we achieved this genocide by the hands of the West at the expense of the president , we did not think and no one thought, and do not want to think only lives are wasted when there is no logic of war and everyone is to blame. Let's change everything and stop touching Russia and become a genocide, RUclips will be blocked in Russia, and at the expense of theft and deceiving the people, this is normal and tells the truth, this is extremism. The war is for the West to support the war, and for politicians to make money on the death of their people and buildings. And we are weakness, rich and politicians, slowly but moderately destroying the people in Russia. No one remembered the truce, this genocide over ordinary people, and it doesn’t matter who you are Ukrainian or Russian❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    I can relate to how strict the security is in Ben Gurion airport. I'm a solo female traveler from Asia, and they had me interrogated, twice! It was nerve-wracking, even though I'm confident they will let me through since I haven't done anything illegal. But I've been to over 20 countries and that was the first time I got interrogated at an airport and got asked crazy questions. Good thing my flight got delayed. Otherwise, I'm certain I will miss it. Because aside from the interrogations, they are going to check every single thing on your carry-on.

      If you've been to some dodgy countries (like Iraq, Syria Iran or North Korea) that will raise red flags.

    Oh Thank goodness all went well at the airport.
    I love when you don’t tell us where you’re going. 😂 Very, very short flight and controversial….hmmmm…Syria? 🤔 Looking forward to finding out!
