Ingredients -
Soaked Moong dal, 3 - 5 finely chopped green chillies, chopped ginger , finely chopped curry leaves, chopped coriander leaves, salt, tumeric powder, oil
You could try with only split moong dal or use both -
Wash & soak the moong dal for 4 hours
Soak green whole moong dal for 5 hours
The moong dal would have sized up, drain the water & grind it into a thick dough without water or very little water.
Transfer it into a mixing bowl
Add in 3 - 4 finely chopped green chillies, chopped ginger, finely chopped curry leaves, coriander leaves , coarse black pepper powder, cumin coarse powder, add salt, mix it. Add a pinch of tumeric powder to the dough & mix it again (optional)
The moong dal dough is ready to use it.
After that, take a small wok, pour the required oil for frying, & heat it. After that, just drop it as small balls into the wok & fry well. Fry evenly all around until golden brown & boils both sides.
Fry as many batches of small balls as required until it is cooked completely.
Enjoy your Moong dal Bonda with chutney of your choice or sauce
