I suddenly understood why in another person's video where he plays national anthems on his piano so that the larger the country, the more complicated the anthem gets... and he omitted China.
It is so monotonic that you just cannot add anything to it without completely changing the genre. First of all, it's not a hymn, but rather a battlefield charging cry. And the lyrics sound as if the singer is rushing forwards in the front line when bullets are flying at them and artillery shells are dropping next to them. What I mean is, this is not a poetic description of the battlefield, but rather, YOU are the soldier and everything is on fire and you have no time at all to be poetic.
But this inspires me. See, the original Chinese anthem can be said to be this: a 1st person experience of being a soldier. But what if, we change the perspective? Like, a 3rd person, say, a reporter, filming the battlefield? And it's a tragically epic battlefield.

Don't you guys follow the People's Congress? Making a mockery of the National Anthem is a criminal offense. I'm contacting the local authorities immediately.
