The best Safari videos on RUclips! Another classic hunt. Thanks! I'm going to Rustenburg the end of Jan for 3 months with family. My SiL & I hope to put some meat in the freezer.
Ahhh mate it’s such a special place. It’s something difficult to explain if one has not actually felt or experienced it. I’m glad we were able to bring those happy memories back to you wherever you find yourself! EC forever!
@@JohnXSafarisExperience I spent many many school holidays at my aunt and uncles place in Port Alfred, he was an avid hunter and regularly took me out with him...some of my most cherished memories are those trips out into the bush and mountains of the Eastern Cape...
It's great to see people that can actually shoot! One shot and done!!! Some of these video's show people that take half a dozen shots and make the animal's suffer. Great shooting!!!
I’m still not wild how John X guides do not get clients closer to take shots. 600m On a Blesbuck is unnecessarily far. You could easily have got with 300m if you had tried with good walk and stalk tactics. If the result was a clean kill most times I’d be ok but I’ve watched a number of your videos that don’t end up with ethical, clean kills. Come on guys, let’s do what we love but ensure we’re being ethical. We don’t need to give the anti’s anymore ammo. Animals are not targets for testing ones long-range skills.
John X Safaris Thanks for the reply guys. I completely agree that the sustainability of our wildlife is key. I am, however, against hunters testing their long-range abilities on animals. While I appreciate someone else is filming these hunts, John X is still hosting and guiding. I have seen many of these long-range shots ending badly on your channel due to the hunter and guide simply being too far away without having tried to get closer. I am a huge fan of companies like Gunwerks who make incredible weapons that are able to shoot to 1000 yards out of the box. What I am not a fan of is hunters testing these weapons on live animals. Some parts of the world require 500m+ shots (like many of the sheep, Ibex etc). I have hunted extensively in the Karoo and very rarely does one need to make a 350m+ shot. Anyway, just some food for thought!
Nice videos and great camera work at a beautiful place but the music selections really diminish the overall production quality. With so much great traditional African music and Afrikaner singers like Bok Van Blerk and Theuns Jordan there should be no need for anything else.
Good video, but as always overwhelming crappy music,! When will these people ever learn that most of us just do not enjoy the shit music. We want to enjoy the hunt , scenery and commentary. The over dramatization of the music is just so freaking off putting! Just try and keep it turned down or not have it at all man! It really spoils everything! - Eish!

l have notice something on some of your hunter rifles that looks like s sound suppressor can you tell me whar it is
It’s most certainly a suppressor to relieve sound and recoil. 👍

It was a 7 mm LRM by Gunwerks 👍
