The orchestra tells a story through music. A story crafted in the minds of the listener, with it's own characters, scenes, plot and script.
Thank you. A nice historical souvenir from 20 years ago. Great orchestra under the baton of Semyon Bychkov. Same pleasure listening to it now.
here while reading 1q84 xD
Me too👍
Thank you. It's great to have this work played by these forces. Bychkov looks little different to when he recorded some R Strauss with this orchestra something like 20 years ago. I guess the lineup of players may have experienced some changes; and Semyon may have done something toward the present colour of his hair, . . .. but then I read the annotations more carefully, and while uploaded in 2022, the performance comes from 2002; all is made clear. Thank you for uploading this brilliant performance and recording. ! I was going to praise the brass, then realized the woodwind also deserved special mention, and then. . . . where do I stop?? Superb music making. Thank you again.
Thank you, Bryan!
I discoved recently that music! I’m facinated by it. I’m not a expert but your interpretation seem spot on! Cheers from Canada!
Thank you very much! 🥰
Greetings from Germany 😊
Wunderbar!Grosse Musik ,perfekt musiziert!
Thank you very much!
Great job! Nailed it.
Thank you! 😊
We are glad that you like it 🥰
Also the camera shots on the players are refreshing
Ich denke sofort an Haruki Murakami und 1Q84 🙃
This music was written before digital nerds roamed about.
@@hannesheinz720 no one has claimed otherwise. Haruki Murakami was born only in 1949. ;)
ich höre es mir gerade deswegen an. ))
Eu também. Estou relendo esse livro, pela segunda vez. Fantástico! #Brazil
Stunning!
Thank you! 😊
Emerson Lake and Palmer got me here :)
welcome
I heard the ELP in it. What great music this .@@emanuel_soundtrack
Me too, but I like Emerson Lake and Palmer's "Knife Edge", which has taken some elements from Sinfonietta, a lot more than the original concert version of Sinfonietta by Janacek.
What an amazing performance!
Thank you! 🤗
You came here because of book 1Q84
Lol no, but now I'm curious. I've started it a couple times, going to have to give it another listen (audiobook).
Yes
yes!
Yes ❤
No, i did not. I have played the composition in two countries (Canada and Thailand), and was first exposed to the piece in second-year music history class back in the fall of 1986, long before that book was written, presumably. Na naah...^^
es gibt richtig schöne stellen! ))
_Crown Court_ was *before* _1Q84_ . . .
8:25
Janaceks Musik geht mir regelrecht auf die Nerven, die erzeugt Stress pur. Aber das ist wahrscheinlich eine ihrer „Qualitäten“.
Rather fast 🤔
Look at his smile at 22:27 ❤!
This paricular performance lacks vitality. Did ChatGPT perform it?
Too timid.
I tend to agree with you. Not raucous enough. But the details in the score are easy to hear--that's different from other performances I've encountered.
Klingt nicht schön.
Bin nach 1 min raus.
Wiedersehen!
Starte mit dem Allegretto. Das ist nett😊
maybe because lacks horns and trombones, and the timpani doubling with b trombone is not that best here
