I had one of my son’s teacher tell me years ago, Teacher are the most important people in the world because without them there would not be doctors and lawyers. She just stood there with her mouth open. I still believe that even more today…farmers are the most important and the key to our survival.

My history professor told a story of the gov sending a check to take some of her grandfather's cattle which they did and the grandfather never cashed the check and later was found a large dumping ground for cattle carcasses.

Here in Massachusetts. My grandfather had a 100 acre farm in Bellingham Massachusetts. Lake view. It is a pond. But because it’s spring fed it’s classified as a lake. My grandfather is a kinda cheap guy. So he had all of the land surrounding the property deemed as protected wetlands and agricultural lands. Cannot be built on!! In this process he gave up his rights to the water. He owned the land underneath the pond. But the water itself is owned by the state of Massachusetts and because of those “protections” the state has the power to control what my grandfather did on his own land. Now, this story that I just told is almost 35 years old now! Massachusetts and California have been just proving ground for what the federal government has been trying to get away with decades. This man speaking in this interview is absolutely right!! We need to live by OUR constitution and save OUR country

I wish they would talked MORE about meat processing and removing the regulations that require Ranchers to send to butchers outside the state. They need to be able to use local butchers. There are only a few big processing plants and two of them are foreign owned. We need to break up those big processing plants.

Im 63 growing up my daddy planted 30 acres, said i promise you i will teach you how to feed your self, that was 50 years ago, he passed away a couple of years ago at 91 still planted every year.,he taught me well. I thank God for him everyday.

I'm still able to buy half a cow from a local farmer. $5.50 a pound this year. I just go to my local slaughter house and pick it up after the farmer delivers the cow. Thats a lot more money than a packer will pay them..i guess they have too much volume to sell one at a time to locals

Seek out local farmers and buy from them. They are out there and growing. Eat real food from living soil.
Buy from a Farmer direct and pay him a damn fair price! The processing plants steals the animals or milk in our case, from the Farmer. I know, me and hubby were Dairy Farmers and never got a fair price….ever. After 40 years, we said no more and quit. Consumers balked at paying 59¢ more per gallon and would drink alternatives. So consumers are a lot of the blame of what’s going on. Your increase in your wage wasn’t meant for vacations, big homes and fancy cars….it’s to pay the guy holding the beginning of the rope. I hope America has learned its lesson…Big Corporate Farms are NOT your friends.

There's been a war on meat in America for a long time because the abundance of available and affordable meat is one of the greatest American accomplishments. It made malnutrition a world wide memory. I consume mostly meat for my diet. Fat and all. I love it. I'm 56 years old, 5'11 and have never weighed over 183 pounds in my life. The cholesterol in animal fat is actually food for the brain. Our brains need it.

Thank you for having Shad on your podcast. His knowledge and delivery method was superb. Years ago, my dad also thought the battle over water would rear its ugly head. Shad also touched on the effects of corporate lobbyists. So many people know this...have known it, and yet we remain in the clutches of corporations exerting their will over the people. The only ones lobbying Washington should be the voters--WE THE PEOPLE. Our self-indulgent politicians have no concern for their citizens. Their agenda is lining their own pockets while bending to the will of corporations holding the largest money bags. This is obvious when you look at the wealth politicians accumulate while in office. Two changes would go a long way in correcting this dilemma: 1) term limits 2) ban corporate lobbyists. WE THE PEOPLE would support these changes. However, the average person has no influence or resources to wage this battle. We need someone like you...Glenn...to gather influential like-minded people and start a movement and make this happen. Once a movement is started, it will filter out to the average person who can help wage the war within their own communities. Let's get this thing started before our country is totally shredded.
Instead of having lawn wars, competing with your neighbors, front yard and who’s is this nicer maybe have garden wars in the front yard who’s garden is producing more and how much extra can you give to your friends and family for free that would be a hell of a competition

My mom cooked from scratch and I do as well. Dairy products come from cows and eggs from chickens. I rarely eat fast food, so I don't really care. I doubt it real anything.
I was lucky enough to be raised by family who were like that. Her parents were from Europe, and they did everything hardly any do today. Definitely a dying breed.

There’s a folk’ism that goes…. Strong men create good times; Good times create weak men; Weak men create bad times; Bad times create strong men. I believe we are now in the weak men phase, always expecting govt to fix things like daddy did. Bad times are coming and our grandchildren will have to become strong men and women … rebuilding a new civilization.

Because people like barack osama, swab, gates and others want all the money and power. Control the food is to control the people (the masses at least). Why do you think people like gates subscribe to the idea of only a world population of 500,000? The so called elites will have everything and the few left will be their slaves. Teach your grandchildren the truth teach them not to trust the teachers who want to indoctrinate them, if you live where they are doing that in school, most all do it in some fashion. Teach them that this country is a Constitutional Republic.

I remember my grandfather trying to tell us everything you are discussing way back when. He was very intelligent, and everyone then thought he was crazy, but I can see now that he was correct. He told us all to look forward to what the government and the elites were trying to do and see the power that they were being given to destroy everyone. Boy was he right.
When I was still in school back in the early 90s I lived in California and I remember this group called the Save Earth foundation that were trying to tell us we needed to stop using animal products to save the environment it did not go over so well and they were telling us this while wearing leather boots and belts.
Im grateful to Gods strength & light. That being said, I'm terrified. That same store Chad mentioned I work for, during the crazy yrs, we were given lists of items to take from consumers. I saw fathers crying begging "why cant my family buy 2pacs of eggs, milk, bread?" Etc. But to take it from them felt so awful & so UnAmerican. The biggest hurt the customer didnt know was that if say a gal of confiscated milk sat under the register for more than 20mins, it had to be dumped. All products needing refrigeration were tossed. We didnt have enough employees to take items back to coolers. Those that worked registers would cry during breaks while dumping sometimes 6 gal of milk creamers cheese eggs meat. What they did to everyone was psychologically damaging.

I wish I would have known dairy was being discarded. I would have loaded the whole rack of butter, cream and every other item that was limited and rolled into the register. I guarantee store mgmt would have found someone to restock it pdq.
I complained many times about limits on butter, because I was shopping every 30 days only and one pound of butter didn't last that long for us. It really didn't make sense for me to make a 50 mile round trip after 10 days to buy butter again. I remember telling the cashiers the policy was terribly unfair for out-of-town customers trying to minimize trips to town. Their expressions were a blank stare. People living in town could go by and pick up a pound of butter 3 days in a row, but I didn't have that option.
So to get the quantity of butter I needed I had to visit 3 stores which exposed me to triple the cov v germs.
Time to revolt!
