Can I just say October Caddis is my favorite fly and time of year. The riff raff is off the river, leaves are changing, and fall fish eagerly await these caddis! It’s easy to see and so beginner friendly too.
What a beautiful location y’all got out there on the Yak right out your back door! I listened to your podcast you did with Dave on Wet Fly Swing brother! Good stuff Joe keep ‘em coming. Soaking up everything y’all put out on Reds💪🏼🎣💯
@ruebdogg1 well, we can reverse engineer one of these. The collar hackle id tie backwards to prop up the feather. Body could be foam for ease of float or antron. Then the dear hair to compliment how you want it to ride, depending on foam or not you may not need much.

Thanks FeeshDaddy, really appreciate it. Dave is a good host and made that a fun discussion.
Nice caddis and it matches your shirt…good tip on lubing up the leader.
sounds like a fun hatch to fish
Nice!
You said “Shadow Casting.” 😉
Its a thing. 4 real.
Will this caddis work for lakes
I'll bet it would, but the actual October Caddis doesn't live in lakes.
how about a fly tying video!?
No tying video here, we love to tie but do not sell materials.
This is a headgehog with a foam body. Google and then just use orange foam for body. Our October caddis in WYOMING have a brown body
