    Manny is so great. He's just keeps on improving in his fights especially on his English. He does not need any translators. Hands down for the pound for pound king in boxing...

    i got to give a hand to oscar though, without him manny wont be on the top of the list, hes man enough to accept that manny is a better man, so goodluck to him. he still a legend... and to manny, im so proud that you've made it to the top.

    I started watching boxing in 2007 and Mayweather was my favourite.But when Delahoya and Pacquiao fought i honestly didnt know who Pacquiao was. I was shocked to see such speed and combos. I thought to myself this guy is a senstation. That is what boxing needs right now another shocking sensation

    if anyone was 'robbed' it was the crowd and pay per view customers cos only one guy turned up to fight and it werent oscar, as big as fan as i am of the guy he has to retire after this, it was embarassing to see a former legend get taken apart, i dont think anybody can say a bad word about manny,he entertains with his style,a crowd pleaser and peoples champion in a poor country,ive never seen him turn down an interview or autograph, he has the potential to dominate this beautiful sport for years

    I want to see Manny vs Floyd, and I think Bob should try and romance the young and upcoming star and future champion, Victor Ortiz. Or Golden Boy should get Margarito in their promotions. That would be a great move from anyone of those promoters.

    A lot of people doesn't realized that Pacman is a power puncher long before he began to learn to box (thanks to Freddie Roach),he's originally a brawler. If Dela Hoya doesn't punch, it's because he's so worried getting hit with power punches. All that fought Pacman knows how strong Pacman's left is, and with his powerful right hand already develop he's simply devastating.

    steroids are taken by losers...the winners don't need it since they have talent! manny does not need it at all. he's good, face the fact haters. just because he's good doesn't mean his on steroids...how about ali,frazier,foreman,tyson,''the infamous mayweather jr'' (which i hate since he's all about the money...they're good...people are just jealous of the talent

    @glenn3428 i agree with u with respect but here's the thing, if they don't catch the weight who will fight pacquiao in thesame intensity with a champions belt around his weight division, still waiting for mayweather but i don't see any fighter that can be in thesame level unless he catch the higher weight. what do you think?

  • @randycruzet

    pacquiao is from southern philippines which isnt much of an english speaking place.Filipinos are really good in english in comparison to other asian countries.

  • @gaksolid
    @gaksolid 16 лет назад

    barrera wasn't quite washed up, but he was already on the slide. remember he turned pro when he was 15, and he endured brutal matches (vs junior jones, morales, etc). but i think he took manny lightly that night and was in for the biggest surprise in his life.

  • @gaksolid
    @gaksolid 16 лет назад

    in general,barrera was better than most everybody else in the division.even though he slid,he started out at a place much higher than 99 percent of the division.the remaining 1 percent included the name pacquiao.he was overpowered by manny's speed and power. but in the gym he probably did not focus on practicing to disrupt manny's rhythm. if he had, he'd lasted 12 rounds, still losing, but on points, just like the second time around when he was already much older.

  • @dawydoz
    @dawydoz 15 лет назад

    Who's the guy talking around 21:30? And that dude before him?

  • @gaksolid
    @gaksolid 16 лет назад

    i guess my point is that if barrera was a couple of years younger in 2003 and if he had focused on practicing to defuse manny's arsenal during training, he wouldn't have lost that bad.

    @XxGaSpARxXUFC dude... there are people who have actually beat Pacquiao. iv seen both the fights and in my opinion Morales did way better! doing the job halfway just doesn't cut it. hell he couldn't even drop Pacquiao! why? because Pacq has the best equilibrium in the game

  • @jeremar
    @jeremar 14 лет назад

    @2crazy he is lucky that he wasnt born in pacman's era. if he was, his record would be 116 fights 7 losses and got retired after fighting pacman like most mexican fighter did after fighting Manny.

SOOOO FUNNY!!! Just accept the fact that Manny is a GREAT fighter.

  • @lightweightking
    @lightweightking 16 лет назад

    To Melencolic: You don't know what the hell you're talking about. Oscar doesn't want to fight a true Mexican fighter. He won't fight Margarito and he'll barely comment on Chavez jr either. So if he beat a good Mexican fighter in the longest time. He beat Chavez when Chavez was 40 years old. There's no way Oscar has really fought a good Mexican in a long time. So he can't say he's a real mexican fighter. So Manny didn't beat a good Mexican Welter weight yet. Manny won't fight Margo ever

    ok, let go back 13 years...95-96. so you mean to tell me, oscar de la hoya was above roy jones jr, bernard hopkins, floyd maywether, shane mosley, ect. even if you are going off boxing attractions, he's not above mike tyson(to me the greatest heavyweight of this generation.) de la hoya hasnt had a note worthy win in i dont know how long. but i guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

    @randycruzet Just about every fighter who is and has ever been on top does so by beating a big name on his way out. It's just the way ALL combat sports are. Some day when Manny is past his prime, the next upcoming superstar fighter will beat Manny and people will say that Manny was old, but how else do fans or even a fighter, his team, etc, realize that a fighter is old until he fights a hot prospect who beats him? And how else is an up and coming prospect supposed to make his name?
