Yes, very sturdy. I’m going to have to make a video showing how much food can go on them and how the weight doesn’t affect them at all - even when they are pulled completely out.
I have a camp chef Woodwind Pro. I have a few issues with there racks. 1. There are very few review videos out there (other than yours and the manufacturer). 2. You're almost inclined to buy the table that they make because once you pull out the rack, I can see juice and grease spilling out. 3. Wow, pulling out a rack that's in 350* is hot. 4. And how about cleaning. Would you mind providing an update on how you still feel about them. Thanks
All good questions. I've had them for more than a couple of months now and have cooked on them a bunch. I'm planning to publish a follow-up video soon. They work perfectly. I love being able to move the trays in and out, and it doesn't affect cooking temp or airflow at all. Cleaning out the grill is still easy, because the trays are simple to remove. The drip pan was a little more difficult to get back in the grill with the tray support rails in the way, but not too bad. I just had to angle it a bit differently. Yes, some juice does drip on the ground when you have the trays out in the middle of a cook. I just laid a big black trash bag flat underneath the trays on the ground in front of the grill, with the grill wheels keeping it down. I plan on getting the Recteq accessory table later on, which will help with catching the drippings.
Totally get it. I love using mine to cook a lot of jerky and a lot of ribs. The top rack really isn't in the way when I'm not using it and I can pop it out if I have to. Also, I love being able to pull out the food and check on it using the rack so I don't have to have my face in the smoky grill.

Wow! awesome video J 😎 Thank you so much
Wow you make it look so easy
That looks really nice and it seems really sturdy!

I'm pulling the trigger on this. No drill is awesome
It works perfectly, I've already done several cooks on it. I can fit four pounds of thin-sliced jerky on these two trays also.

Been thinking about getting this setup but I already have optional second rack. I rarely use it

Now that you've had it for a few months any updates? Still holding up?
