I got severe neuropathy due to keytrude & not icing enough. I also highly recommend moving your body, I did not excise enough therefore having trouble now with pain. This October I celebrated one year cancer free from TNBC, stage 3.
I was recently diagnosed with an aggressive ovarian cancer. My CA125 ( normal range is under 35) and all other tumor marker bloodwork was normal. This is not the be all and tell all, with that being said if you have a high number does not necessarily mean you have cancer. I had bilateral ovarian cancer as well as a mass on my rectum. I am stage IIB, my Dr said I only had this for a few months. I need woman to know I had zero symptoms. I had a UTI in late July, that lead me down this road. It was my repeat urine test that had CA OXALATE, and during an ultra sound that mentioned a possible mass ovarian in origin. I had my first of six rounds needed of chemotherapy ( which I am choosing to call the good…good to kill the bad…bad) on Nov 6th. I hope everyone is staying positive on this journey. Be well.
Thank you so much for sharing! Yes, elevated numbers don’t mean cancer but ovarian cancer is hard to detect. Trust your gut. Get symptoms checked out and keep being your own advocate. Be well and heal Karen! ❤️
Another great live today. Sorry I missed it. Soon, I will see them more often, as I am retiring at the end of December!!! I just want to also say that the support from all your followers is so refreshing to see and be a part of. So thank you ladies, for all your support. It truly means so much to feel the support from this channel. Thank you, Marina, for all you do!!!
I had TNBC. I have 6 more keytruda. It also blew out my thyroid. Taking Synthroid and doing fine. I will also say that TNBC was undetectable at 2 months after starting chemo with Keytruda! It is a huge game-changer in cancer treatment!
The ice gloves for hands and feet really work. I used them with winter gloves and thick socks snd they protected me. I am using a grow bone system by Garden of Life. I also have hypothyroism and high cholestral. How do we gain weight after cancer treatment? D
Good feedback! More protein like chicken, turkey, beans, chick peas, Greek yogurt. Wear a weighted vest or hold weights while walking. And lots of fruits and veggies to your liking. Oh and honey for a sweetener. ❤️

What do you mean by movement? And, what icing techniques would you have done?
Thank you for sharing! Congrats on a year cancer free! “Movement” sounds like walking daily or exercise versus a more sedentary lifestyle.
@@debigotlieb8357 I meant to say moving around, like walking , light exercising. I did not do much of it .
Could not agree more about "mental positivity" and being strong !!
It’s tough but worth trying!
Congratulations on completing the NYC marathon!! Awesome.
Thank you so much! 😊
