i love being a highly compassionate speaker - audiences so often walk up after to share the transformations they have experienced, the new perspectives they never felt safe to consider... because of the compassion in my voice - the heart I shared in my words and tone. Love it!

Powerful talk Tim. Compassion is power and what happens when you change from "this will not stand" to "what do you need?" Thank you for sharing your compelling case for compassion with high-stakes, great-outcome examples.

Compassion is a NEED. Faith, hope, love, and compassion are one of the most important factors to life which in one way or another connect themselves.

Compassion is love in action - the most powerful force in the world. There is so little of it in this superficial, selfish, greedy, corrupt world. Which has negative affects on psyches, especially those who were dehumanised through childhood abuse and emotional deprivation- and they child goes out as a weirdo and then bullied. Usually end up incarcerated- all could have been prevented if some showed that person they were valuable and mattered. What a world it all would love neighbour as thyself.

Wow, sorry you're facing that problem. I find compassion very useful in stakeholder management - partner management, program management. If you can talk to other people and discover what they really want, you can help them get it and help your business thrive at the same time. Best of luck to you.

JUST GIVE PRAISES TO YAH, THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS, INSTEAD OF TAKING OFF AND MAKE IT SOMETHING ELSE!
*Why not just quoting the Holy Bible???*
The son of The Creator YAHAWASHI taught us all things about having compassion.
    Matthew 18:33
[33] *Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?*
    Matthew 9:36-38
[36]But when he saw the multitudes, *he was moved with compassion on them,* because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
    [37]Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
[38] *Pray ye therefore YAH of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.*
    Matthew 9:28-30
[28]And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and YAHAWASHI saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
[29] *Then touched he their eyes, saying, ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH BE IT UNTO YOU.*
[30]And their eyes were opened; and YAHAWASHI straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
And many more scriptures about having compassion.

It sounded more like a manipulation tactic than true compassion from Christina

    • @TimDawes

That's an interesting take. I wonder about the line between strategies - empathy, persuasion, manipulation. How do you draw the distinction? I'm not sure. Sometimes I think it may be intent. Thank you for bringing up the provocative question.

What if we realized that we need to begin with understanding that Christian religions have created as much and perhaps MORE need to seek compassion from THEIR victims.

@justki.1909those who do unrighteous acts against others for personal gain are greedy and only think of themselves. Don't call them victims, that's asinine.
