Being a bmw if the normal brakes are spongey and the standard lines ran "dry" you guys may need to bleed the abs module it may have taken in air
Cut worm is a gnarly fabricator. His e46 with that rear diffuser on his daily. That guy taught me to use magnets and wax paper when mocking up over fenders
Good drift mod, but not the best. The best mod for the E46 is the Supercharged M52 from Jimmy's E36.

Colby Yeah you right though. If I had a car like B Hall’s and I had all the money I needed I would definitely take the V10 and do an all motor build on it. Pretty much just a fully built motor with no boost is what I would run. But yeah I absolutely agree, they are a heavy expensive bitch 👍

Without using a scan tool and having the abs pump do the bleeding procedure you won’t get the brakes to feel normal. The test actuates all the valves and get the pump goin
Love how they thought of literally everything when designing the hydro! Idk if you noticed but the point where the knob screws on to the hydro is at the perfect length to where you can unscrew it and work on the stereo without any issues!

The bmw systems never like in line hydros. B may be getting lock up when he hits his brake pedal. Just a heads up SLG makes a wicked dual caliper kit to avoid all of that!

I learned in a low powered auto with no hydro! its all about the weight transfer!!
tip for the future jimmy, if you jam the brake pedal with a bar then release the pressure from the bleed nipple its shuts of the master cylinder and wont drip brake fluid everywhere while you work on the lines and wont run the brake fluid reservoir dry
If you put a stop on the other side of the hydro (so it has something to push against) it will help with the pedal issue.

alot of people doing a inline hydro fab up a stopper for the leaver so that it doesnt move forward when using the pedal. but not so that it holds the hydro slave shut from passthru :) helps alot on the feel. i thought it was air in my inline system and it was just the hydro slave having that play. also a good thing ti brace due to the fact that you might pop the slave apart under hard braking. ;)

I think the feed line is suposed to go straight to the master, So the ABS actuator doesnt effect the cilinder for the hydro

B Hall ftw Every. Damn. Day.
Yeah m8 this is honestly way more work than you needed to do. Two stainless braided hydraulic lines and two m12x1.0 fittings and you can just tap it into the abs unit and save yourself the headache of cutting and flaring brake lines. This method is effective for cars without 4 wheel abs. But I’m an e46 or 350z there’s no need to cut anything.
When B was wrapping Jimmy’s arm I just noticed how tall Jimmy was 😂
Take the cap off the master and put a plastic bag over the top and refit cap. That way the lines won’t drip constantly while working on the brake lines.
Jimmy, long time subscriber. I find I am able to bleed the brakes better if the bottle connected to the nipple is above the brake caliper. That way the air escapes easily up. It honestly might not make a difference cause of the pressure from the fluid but thats the way I have always done it

Yeah but the stock handbrake still worked and he still used it. You don't need a hydraulic handbrake to drift, but you 100% need a working handbrake to drift well

Bro... Vw coolant makes my skin wig tf out too. I get the hives... it blows cause I’ve had to do the cooling system on my Vr6 2 different times.
Just so you know using the original lines from the ABS system is not an idealistic way of doing it.... You should run a bias valve to the rear brakes so that way you can reduce the pressure going to the rear brakes so that way you can still have left foot braking.... Then run a separate set of calipers welded to the rear upper part of the rotor bracket.... This will prevent back pressure to the ABS system at the same time will allow you to have control over your breaking with a dial free rear wheels you can still continue to drive it on the road if need and lock out the rear when you want to use your hydro

Fully disagree about having a handbrake when starting out drifting. It doesn't have to be hydraulic but a working handbrake is 100% essential in a drift car and not having one when you're learning will more likely teach you bad habits and shitty lines than "make you rely on it" as everyone likes to claim. If your goal is to be a consistent driver that people want to tandem with you need a handbrake, plain and simple.

Best mod is to totaly strip the whole car from interior and trim/panel stuff, totaly bare metal it and just leave the dash and driver bucketseat. B will drive a car that feels like 50-100hp faster that way.
