Good content, but you should get to the main stuff (5:30) straight away to engage the viewer and explain the psychological stuff later
Good aesthetics as usual. One personal question: what are ur origins?
There is still free skill share available just they need your credit card :(
I didn’t get any answer. Is asking what part of Asia you’re from a racist question? ;)
A British Matt D'Avella
He's even got the facial hair. It's crazy
@@without155 I think he is inspired by
I totally agree.
YESS
spot on 👏🏾
I find his voice really calming...
He should start meditating app 😇
Me too.
The next David Attenborough
He needs to start a podcast... We need this
Im calling it this guy will get over 500k subs until this year is over, absolute quality content and soothing voice!
I was just thinking that, subscribed at his third video because it popped up in my feed and I can't imagine this not taking off if he keeps the video's coming.
Well...
He didn't but still there is visible growth
@@shwetabandewar9382 That's the YT algo never know what to expect

Couldn't agree more!
Dude how come you have less than a million subscribers?
Quality content has less views whereas cringy videos are trending on RUclips.
Looking forward to the day when you have a million subscribers!
I’m glad someone pointed out habits right now during quarantine. I read “Atomic Habits” by James Clear recently. It’s the same material as as this habit book. I just like it a bit more because he says to make a new habit easy and more inciting. So when you want to get up earlier and you can’t you immediately reward yourself when you do because then you’re looking forward to something. It becomes a cue. I started working out after I take my dog outside and I reward myself with a good breakfast. It’s better digestion for me and it satisfies my hunger. I can’t eat until I do my workout and it’s cued after I take my dog outside. It has helped me immensely psychologically and emotionally when I have to spend weeks inside a small space. It gives me a sense of security and control.
I cannot debate with this guy. I will agree everything he say because of his voice
OMG not only does he have that great voice, but the looks to go with it.😀
I am retired but still want to use my time well. Your comments about cues and especially pre-sleep prep were very helpful.
I make my bed everyday. That gets me in a mood of thinking I am about to go somewhere. Then I make breakfast, and so on. I’ve set 4 alarms in my phone: (1) protein shake (2) stretch (3) workout (4) protein shake. Hearing the alarms triggers my mind to think I HAVE to do these things. Keeps me motivated and busy since, unfortunately, this time has caused me to lose my job.
I am so sorry to hear about your job! But your tips sound great! Making my bed is the first step to start doing stuff too. And keeping discipline and structure has helped me stay mentally healthy. I hope everything goes well for you!
I do it too. I saw an interview with an American general (retired) who used that as the title for a book. His point was that you start your day with an easy decision and progress from there.
♥️♥️
@@imisstoronto3121 He was a navy seal I think.
Just discovered your channel recently. It's amazing, got a lot of tips of the way you and your Mrs live in a small apartment! I've used a couple! thank you!!
Decision fatigue is such a helpful term! At the start of the pandemic, I was really frustrated with how fast my energy levels were dipping but the habit loop bit was enlightening! As always, thanks for sharing such an great video!!
I have practiced almost same routine as yours for over a year...I agree..it definitely changes perspective.
"instead of lying there like a snoozing, unproductive mess" that hit hard 😂
Love this! I’m gonna try to write down a to-do list the night before so that it’s easier to start work the next day! Thanks for the tips 😊👍🏻
Loved the video. I agree that routines are very important. After retiring, I had no routines and had to invent a whole new series of them. Now, with lockdown those are all out of the window but the two things that are part of my new new routine are getting out of bed, dressed, etc by 8:30 and out for my daily walk. It really does set me up for the day.
Couldn’t agree more that skillshare is a great resource to learn something new or reinforce a skill.
Thank you! This really is relevant to me atm. I'm struggling to get work done on a daily basis since I've started working at home. I'll make sure to implement your advice to my working routine! :) Also, your voice is very pleasant to hear!
Your videos are brilliant, I would love to see one about minimalist items you keep and your wardrobe. Thanks
Loved this video! I too write down my next day tasks the night before. Would love to see a video on how you avoid procrastination
Thank you for sharing your morning routine!! As an aspiring architect in university it’s inspiring to hear you talk about your work flow.
The way he took the time with the content, the form and the delivery of the message. Wow 👌
I love his calming voice! Not noisy and straight up to the point. Thank you Titchener!
My gosh, his voice and everything makes the whole package. And i live in a small apt too. I watched all your videos and tips for living a minimalist life in a small apt. Such great tips. Keep them coming. You are a stud.
Just signed up for Skillshare with your link, the timing couldn't have been more perfect! #quarantinetime
Great video. I also have been dressing in my work clothes while teleworking as well as getting up early.
Love this Daniel! This gave some true Matt D'Avella vibes! We actually just shared our 6am morning routine vid as consultants working in Toronto ✨
Your approach to work is motivating in itself! Loving these videos, keep up the content 🤙🏻
I've discovered your channel recently and I have to say I really like it. Keep up the good work. You guys are more helpful than you might think for many of us. Greetings from Spain :)!
Thank you for this, I’m gonna start my work from home job on Monday!
This is just perfect! I badly need this now that my city is on ECQ. I agree with the ‘cue’ thing you mentioned. Lately, I find it difficult to be on my ‘work mode’ because my cues such as getting dressed and driving to work are gone. I need to setup new cues. Thanks for the help! (I’m loving the visuals, content and voice by the way. Keep it up!) -Greetings from PH ☺️
Thank you for sharing. This was so helpful for me.
The content is so on point and very relatable ! Ever since I started watching Daniel's video, he never cease to help me set my working from home mood :DDD
Dude! These tips are gold! You're very generous for sharing them. 👍
Thank you. This is exactly what I needed
“It’s a great way to eat your vegetables without having to eat your vegetables” -Daniel Titchener.
I started getting up early during lock down to do regular morning habits plus meditation and exercise reading. Even if the rest of the day is a dud at least my morning was a win.
Thank you for your valuable advice! Doing an initial series of quick / small tasks first thing in the morning, outlining the next day the night before, and keeping a consistent, simple workout schedule has been game changing :)
Literally best videos I've watched ever. The explanations are simple clear and soothing. His ideas are fukn awesome. I love how I can understand it all and not feel stressed
Thank you! Just signed up for skillshare!
Cannot believe Ive only stumbled on to your channel just now. You have been a big help, and I would definitely apply all this in my life this coming 2021
thank you Daniel. your videos are so clear, to the pointl and relatable. :)
The contents of his videos are amazing and very minimalist.
Great video! Best of luck with the channel! Greetings from Argentina!
I love your intro to this video. Really makes you think!
Thank you very much 😊
I love your video please make more it really got me motivated
Great vid bro, I subscribe so I'm rooting for you!
I just love your videos! !!Something about your voice!!!! Pleasant! !!!!!
Found your channel from the appartment tour, really enjoying you videos. Keep up the great work
Clearing and organizing my workspace gives me a good work mood ;)
Clothes, what to wearand when has been part of my routine. A part from childhood on through work, retirement and now 4/2020, Covid 19 home without contact. I chance clothes to fit its purpose. Usually 3 changes a day. After a day of lounging in comfy clothes, getting dressed (up) again is a motivator. Never realized this until you adressed it.
I am gonna sure start noting down daily tasks, this is my takeaway from this video, btw always amazing videos 💖
Thanks Daniel for this video 😊
Another great video - keep them coming please!
Calming voice. On-point aesthetics. Compelling content. But I keep wondering why you still have a fresh haircut when the rest of us have an overgrown mess?
it's a mystery...
Lmao
He does his own grooming.
So helpful! Thank you!!
3:58 I use that pen too for art! I love those!
Another great video! New sub! I find routines help so much!
I am going to try the writing down tasks before I go to bed. Great advice!
This is a great video no doubt, wonderful voice, and top notch B roll and editing. I do wish that this was more about why routines themselves are important and less of a habits that have changed his life. I know good habits however I am so curious about routines themselves
Amazing video!
Great video! I will definitely try these
Such great content!
Very helpful...I am going to try this ... Quality video ..much needed 👍 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great video and tips. Thanks 🙏
Love your channel! I work from home 3.5 days a week and I agree with you 100% that one needs to have a "routine" even if you're working from home. Otherwise it's so easy to get distracted. First thing I do is to change from my PJ's into my joggers but maybe I'm gonna up my game and dress into something more put together :-) Great content!
Going strong buddy! The channels is growing and if u keep making video's like this it will keep growing.
I have also started a routine of taking a cold shower every morning and it does wonders.
just found your channel, love your videos.
Love your advice and love your voice! I write down my daily to-do list before working or studying as well and it's extremely helpful. But if possible, I would try to avoid seeing my bed and sofa during work time ... (which is kinda impossible right now since I do all the work and study on the big desk in my bedroom)
refreshing and informative thanks again
Great video, I am finding this really useful as a young parent during lockdown struggling to find routine and losing out on productivity...
Thanks for sharing this video Daniel 😍👌
all great advice
I've been working from home since the beginning of the quarantine. I mostly apply all your advises but what I found difficult was to create (overnight) a space to work in a tiny flat (I live in a 30 m2 flat) with no table. So routine is very important, but furnitures and staging is the key to improve productivity. :)
I think just toss the things that are distracted to you. I would help in the long run
Thanks for sharing Daniel. A strategy I have is a MUST be done daily goal. My work for that day is NOT completed until I work on it. I work from home too so my life hasn't changed much during the pademic.
I'm working from home now and this has actually helped me to be more productive in work and & home. I like making my own schedule rather than being at the mercy of job while on the clock. Commuting back & forth to the office killed my mood to do pretty much anything else. But hey, different strokes for different folks! 🤷🏾♀️
Great video and true facts
Good video.. thank you Mr Daniel 🥰
Young man, you are well suited to making You Tube videos. Great ideas, pleasant voice and pretty pictures. Dressing for the day shifts my attitude, and making a list before bed is the best. If ever I skip it, I am slow to start the next morning. This is an inspiring and useful video. Thank you for maaking it. I'm now subscribed, so keep them coming. Cheers!
This pandemic got me in the middle of my move from Barcelona to London. Having a structure every day has been important and building these habits keep me clear and fresh. Can’t imagine being unemployed, lazy, smelly and unproductive for 2/3 months. Great video Daniel.
i have little productivity working at home so i decided to bring my stuff and sleep in the office instead. hoping the quarantine will soon be over.
love it!
Good advice x
Could you pls share the smoothie recipe? :)
Great content! Subscribed. 👍
I find my self a place with a home Office I could now work from home with my sleep space in its own room I going to get back into making videos I really like watching your videos as it as they are more positive helps me thanks for making them
I like that you potentially made noodles just for that chopsticks example.
I live in 2 converted 20m shipping containers for a full 36sm living space which doesn’t feel functional enough. Your methods for living in minimal space has been very inspirational. Subscribed and keen to learn more ☺️
I go back here each time I am struggling to "adult" lol.
Thank you for providing great content! :)
Your Vids are awesome!
Here is one handsome dude with such a calm and soothing voice telling me about the importance of routine...and here I am lounging on the bed, listening to him, and contemplating how to motivate myself to do anything.
Anyway, thanks for sharing these tips. Please do make and share more such videos.

P.S. your wife is so lucky she gets to listen to your voice every single day.
3:57 🤣Enjoy the efforts of your labor. That doesn't even take effort. And that makes it interesting.
Video on your V60 coffee routine !
As a coffee lover, maybe you can add grinding coffee to your routine for an even more awesome coffee. Have an awesome day!
Great video.
Hey Daniel, have you tried or looked at bullet journaling. Not the colouring glamour style, but the basic minimalist type. Ryder Carol is Matt Ragland style.
New subscriber here. I see that you've been very productive during quarantine
Amazing 💓💓💓
i tend to move a lot while working from home. getting stuck in an office chair for hours everyday is indeed not good for our body
Great videos mate, cheers. Also, where do you get your t-shirts?
Thank U
started writing my tasks for the next day in the evening at the start of the week and honestly it's helped me stay focused a bit longer. Definitely worthwhile🌼
That sounds great! I try to do that every morning, but things just pop up as the day goes and my list goes to shit haha
@@ValterKuechel Argh! So relatable! What I've learnt to do is keep the things I must do on the list then only include the tasks that are joy triggers. If I reach 7 on my list then all the other stuff never makes it to the list
Pretty similar to yours, except I'm a night showerer. Instead of a morning shower the first thing I do after getting up is washing my face!
