  • We'll walk you through the process of cleaning your Recoverfun Cold Plunge System. Let's break it down into easy-to-follow steps.
    Preparation:
First, let's prepare. Unplug all power sources, close all water valves, and disconnect the hoses from the Pod.
    Part 1: Cleaning the Pod
This is relatively simple. Use detergent and disinfectant along with a cloth and brush to clean it thoroughly. Once done, empty out the dirty water.
Part 2: Cleaning the Chiller and Hoses
This part requires more time and involves using the system's water circulation. Here's how to do it:
Fill the clean Pod with fresh water. Make sure the water level is above the lower valve.
Connect the pump's inlet to the Pod's lower valve.
Don't connect the other hose to the upper valve yet. We need to flush out any dirty water first.
Open the Pod's lower valve and turn on the pump.
You should see dirty water coming out of the unconnected hose. If not, there might be air pressure. Open the air valve to release it, then close it once water starts flowing.
Let the dirty water flow for 1-2 minutes, then turn off the pump.
Now connect the hose to the Pod's upper valve and open it.
Add disinfectant and cleaner to the water in the Pod.
Turn the pump on again and let the system circulate for about an hour.
After an hour, turn off the pump, drain the water, and refill with clean water. Circulate again.
Repeat this process as needed. Usually, two cycles are enough, but use your judgment. If it doesn't seem clean enough, do additional cycles.
Important note: You don't need to turn on the chiller during this process. It's only for cooling, not circulation. The pump handles the water flow.
By following these steps, you'll ensure your Recoverfun Cold Plunge System is thoroughly cleaned and ready for your next cold therapy session
