ayy i appreciate you, the only constant supply of curiosity i've had in my entire life had been philosophy, meditation, and art (this channel). the largest being philosophy. if you want my recommendations id throw out there reading Walden, The Tao Of Symbols, The Secret Of The Golden Flower, Buddha In The Palm Of Your Hand, and What Is Philosophy? definitely supply me with constant fascination about our world

aye thank you, Buddha In The Palm Of Your Hand was how I first learned meditation, Walden is my favorite philosophy book, What is Philosophy? by Jose Ortega is what i'm reading right now (phenomenal) and Albert Camus first got me into philosophy - hope that helps

that's dope! i'm living in Bogota, the people are so nice and helped me with everything, now i'm on a motorcycle going into the nature and national parks, there's a lot close if you're into forests, mountains, and jungles. it's super super cheap too. my work is the money I've saved plus this channel which is starting to provide!

Hello, I have read the book "Buddha in the palm of your hand" after you suggested it in one of your videos hoping that it would help me to get into meditation. But the book just said, "find a guru who can initiate you". What's your advice for a person like me who want's to get into meditation but can't go to retreats, or find a teacher at the moment. (My family thinks I'm crazy to want to meditate for hourse straight, they think its a waste of time)... Also, I am a full time uni student... so my head literally aches with having to split my attention b/w too many things...
