Down to earth veganism with Paul & Jason. We're a married couple from Manchester who love to share our passion for vegan living with recipes, reviews, chats, fitness, fun and the odd appearance of our cat Isis. We also chat about mental health and more in kitchem vlogs.
We'd love a like and a subscribe, of course.
Thanks so much for taking a look.

Not been to Tesco for weeks so thanks for taking the time & effort on your days off for this little bits and things overview update
Our pleasure!
Thanks for this video as always 🙏 When Paul said “when we used to eat animals, horrific memory” I love the compassion in this and can 100% relate, I used to eat pork and sometimes it even had nipples on it, wtf was I thinking. Am so glad my eyes are now open and I’m thankful that you both do all you can to open the eyes of others for the benefit of the 🐖 🐄 🦆 🐓
"I'm just gonna say it normally!" 😂 Just a few seconds in and you've already made me smile 🙏🥰
Xxx
The black forest cookies, sound amazing. Will definitely be buying them
Think we will too
The spiced butternut squash and chesnut wrap is amazing, I have been getting them every week since they came out.
Thanks guys! Nice to know there's good options. Apart from the crisps of course 🙄 Get so fed up of arguing with people around the fact we don't need animal products to have a well rounded diet, or tasty food for that matter! The vanilla and salted caramel ice cream is delightful btw 😊💚
Thanks for sharing this. I cannot believe Tesco has taken such a backwards step. It's infuriating. You're store has so much more than our one. Might go for a wee look at our Christmas stock today.
Have a good weekend x
Drooling while watching. We’re having big bowls of cabbage soup for lunch. I’d love to have a cookie afterwards. Eat well and enjoy my friends.
Sounds great!
Absolutely mad as hell about the crisps.
crikey, another year whizzing past - thanks for the vlog, always an inspiration
Thanks 👍
This is the longest Tesco advert ever created. 💰 💸
Professional vegans ❤
Only a few seconds in but I had the same reaction to the Christmas crisps. Read the ingredients & shoved em back in a right huff. No need!!
The potato crisps thing is shocking; I would actually contact the company and see what the hell is going on with that supply/production chain. It exceeds WITMIT annoyance. Otherwise, it's a great assortment of things, tantalizing gently with the delights to come for the Christmas season. Looking forward to seeing how Jason likes those beef and shroom pastas! Thanks for posting : )

Thanks so much for doing this 💗
No problem 😊
Your Tesco has an amazing Vegan selection! I’m well jealous.
I had your Girasole pasta recently out of Asda, and it was really nice. Hope you enjoyed it 🌱
You always have a better Christmas selection in the UK. 🎄🤶🧑🎄🇨🇽🎅
Love this you're both amazing as always. Thanks guys I think I'll check some of this out but also Sainsbury's usually have nice festive goodies! Disappointed they're adding milk and other unnecessary ingrediants. 🌱❤️
I was horrified to learn that some salt and vinegar chips have milk powder in them ??? WT actual F... not necessay !!!!❤❤ love you two
Another fantastic vlog, you're so kind. Annoying those unnecessary milk/whey/everything else in crisps etc. (We'll need to write to them). I've enjoyed the free from cheese nachos, not because I like nachos, but I miss the cheese flavour. Tesco free from used to do the no cheese balls too...haven't seen them for a while. Loads of ideas, you've given us, thanks. So right, watch the dates... I have mince pies for months, you're alright with the Christmas pudding, it lasts about a year.
I found a box of mixed centre chocs in Asda.
I am BEYOND jealous as we have f*ck all of this here in Ireland & last year we didn’t even have the crisps! The selection in general over here has dwindled which I get it as in maybe the demand isn’t there but just reduce the size of the section if that’s the case rather than just getting rid of most things with no notice
In New Zealand, just about every flavour of crisp has milk in it, even salt and vinegar. I’ve emailed all the crisp companies to ask why or if they can change it but no such luck. They emailed me their dairy free ranges and they were all plain salted 😑
Well that settles it. I won’t be emigrating to New Zealand now.
@@AtheistEve there are options but it’s more the high end expensive brands. Overall vegan convenience foods and replacement options are still quite limited (and very expensive compared to UK).
Great vlog guys; thank you xx
It's crazy when even chips aren't vegan
Thank you love your videos ❤
Those Vegan Guys: One is flirty and seductive, the other one is normal!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 I love it!!
❤❤❤❤❤
Love you guys!

Disappointed with the crisps at Tesco this year ☹️

Love shopping updates. What was the butternut squash and chestnut wrap like?
Having it for lunch tomorrow so will add to Tuesday's meals vlog
i love cream and cheesecake yuummm
If they're vegan
Can't get over the fact that the 'Tesco Finest' crisps aren't vegan but one shelf down the same flavours Tesco crisps are...WTF!
yumm yumm turkey
Have you tried the Tesco one?
Is this a D- attempt at trolling?
I do love Tescos range of vegan goodies. It's so frustrating when they add milk in though!
What's up with Tesco and the crisp!! Do you guys like Tastey Bite Indian entrees?
Where from?
The stupid thing about the crisp situation (not withstanding the cruelty in them) is that it makes no business sense either.
Nobody is going to look specifically for crisps that have real meat or dairy in them, the ingredients are unnecessary (as illustrated by the fact that last year the crisps were vegan) so what’s the point of adding those things back in?
All they’re doing is making so that vegans and anyone with a milk allergy can’t buy these products. Good business would be to make the product available to as wide an audience as possible.
Bad move from Tesco.
All of the above
I broadly agree but I've known many people to recoil or pull a face on the mere mention of something being vegan, before they've even tried it.
It's stupid, I know but it does happen
@@hannahmitchell87 I know what you mean, but people eat lots of vegan stuff that isn’t explicitly vegan, like many breads, vegetables, chips, baked beans etc. There are those contrarians (like Piers Morgan spitting out a vegan sausage roll on TV) who won’t eat anything explicitly vegan, but for most people if they don’t expect non-vegan ingredients, they don’t go looking for them.
I doubt anyone would be so petty, unless specifically making a point to a vegan, to look for crisps that had real meat/dairy/animal products in them.
@@slashnburn9234 Yeah, I get you. Most people probably aren't specifically seeking out animal products in crisps but more so were maybe put off by the vegan label (maybe even subconsciously), which could've impacted sales. I'm just thinking about Flora & CbiNButter backpeddling after customer pushback. How many actually tried it & how many just thought, "ugh, vegan??" & didn't buy it? (& of the ones who did try it, how many were influenced by the preconceived notion of what they believe "vegan food" to taste like?)
Only the number crunchers & feedback/ research people would have the answers but I can guarantee it'll boil down to money one way or another.
(Not defending the change, at all, just to be clear. Simply thinking of why they might have done it)
I said in another comment, I think part of the re/introduction of animal products into previously vegan products could be to push vegans towards the vegan-specific lines, which they can charge more for (& appease the V hating Morgan-esque collective)
I'd love for them to do blind taste tests like they did with the silly sausage sandwich man on that talk show 🤣
Sorry for the essay!
Hello you handsome chaps. Thanks for the chuckles. 😂xx
Love you from Italy! Choose Vegan Ever!💚🥰
Yay! Thank you!
Love the new ident and theme tune!
🫶
I have a tin foil hat theory. Supermarkets have picked up that some of their mainstream products are 'accidentally vegan', so if they start adding animal products, it pushes vegans to spend more on their dedicated vegan ranges.
(Could also be to appease the people who kick off or won't buy purely on the basis a product is marked vegan)
When positive stuff is reversed, I find it utterly depressing and demoralising 😢
Us too x
Had the meatless farm pasta with salad and garlic bread a few nights ago…wasn’t impressed tbh. Thought it was bland, much prefer the Wicked Kitchen ones. As for Tesco and their crisps…I’m sure they get lobbied something rotten by the dairy & meat industries. So wrong. Goes to show ££££ talks 🤦♀️😞
Totally agree with the milk in stuff, no need for it, it makes me sick to think it's in allmost everything when it's not necessary, beginning did make me laugh
How annoying, I really enjoyed those crisps last year! Grrr. Makes no sense at all.
Great vlog. Annoying about the crisps. Shame on you Tesco 😢
