    Vocals: Shani Lachmish, Ayelet Beazley
Vocals recorded by: Amit Ben Atar
    Background track: www.karaoke-ver...
Produced by Matan Lax. Charoset by Mimi Lax.
Film and lyrics by Ben R:
I dream of home, on my own
Through the sands, I walk alone
    Wish away, across the sea
Maybe one day I'll be free...
Hey you! get back to work!
Come on... Let me hear you!
    I've been buildin' these pyramids
For hundreds of years and I'm like
    Forget you!
And all these chains on my back
They just bring me to tears,
    And I'm like, Forget you
    And Dayenu!
Said, if I was freer, you think I'd still be here?
Well you sure got some chutzpah!
    (You've got some chutzpah!)
And since you give me no rest
I'll be off on my quest
    Well uh, Forget you!
Yeah I'm sorry, that I'm in a hurry,
But that don't mean I can't bake my bread.
Yeah you're just chametz, but I'm Shmura Matzah
Think I'll be on my way instead.
Me and my crew... we've had enough of you
    (You goin' somewhere better?)
    Well...
(Be sure to pack your sweater)
Ooooooh, I've got some news for you
Yeah, you messin' with The Children of Israel!
    I've been buildin' these pyramids
For hundreds of years and I'm like
    Forget you!
And all these chains on my back
They just bring me to tears, and I'm like
    Forget you! and...
    Sheket Bevakasha!
I must be dreamin, we've waited for so long
we're breaking free, goin' back where we belong
Listen up, reach out your hands
It's time to let my people go
to the Promised Land! Come on!
    I'm coming home, coming home
Tell the world I'm coming home
    Let the sea wash away
    All the pain of yesterday
    I know my freedom awaits
    (Freedom, baby!)
Take control of my own fate
    (Can you feel it?)
    I'm coming home, coming home
    Tell the world I'm coming...
    (Mah nishtana!)
    I'm coming home, coming home
    (On this night)
Tell the world I'm coming home
    (Who knows one?)
    Let the joy wash away
    All the pain of yesterday
    I know my freedom awaits
    (Thank God All Mighty)
    just across my seder plate
    (We are free at last!)
    I'm coming home, coming home
    (Can you feel it?)
Tell the world I'm coming home.

Really nice. Put a smile to my face.
We Muslims fast two days, 9 days after every Islamic New Year to celebrate the deliverance of Bani Israel from the Pharaoh of Egypt with all his cruelty.
We remember the difficulties Prophet Moses and his people had.
We pray, thank and show gratitude to Allah for their deliverance on these days.
Our and your ancestors. Salaam, Shalom, Peace.

@mebyename The second big reason why Jewish people do not believe that Jesus was the messiah is that in Judaism, we only believe in one united G-d, rather then G-d being split into three as in Christinanity. Based on the Torah (the old testatment), G-d is not represented on earth through a son, or a human form. There are a few other reason why Jewish people do not believe that Jesus was the messiah, but those are the main ones I was able to come up with. Also, from what I understand Jesus is

forget you - sounds way too similar to forget-jew they should have taken advantage of that like:
"You been enslaving the Hebrews for so many years - so free the Jews- let my people go"
or your just chametz and im kosher matza...what the hell is shmura matza - that order doesnt exist in any language.
other than that - awessssome song

At Passover we celebrate Israel's freedom by the hand of God from the chains of slavery at the hands of the Pharaohs in Egypt. At Easter we celebrate humanities' freedom by the hand of God from the chains of death! Both Passover and Easter are important celebrations and parts of the same story. If God have given us only The Passover celebration, "it would have been enough for us!" But He has given us also the Easter celebration! Jesus is the Christ, the promised Messiah, the Lamb of God, the Great I Am. We are here today, may next year or soon after be in Jerusalem to receive Him as King of kings and Lord of lords!

@mebyename Everyone has had their own suffering to deal with. In terms of your 1948 Israel question, In actuallity the Jewish people were exiled from Israel around 70AD, however a small population has been living in small communities around Israel for 1000's of years. The major waves of Jewish immigration back to Israel (called an Aliyah) started towards the late 19th century and continues today.

@ausurvival There are more pyramids in Egypt than the Great Pyramids at Giza, but "crushing labor" doesn't necessarily mean they were building the pyramids. There were lots of other structures in ancient Egypt. Plus, the Torah says that there were using straw or some kind of plant material to make bricks. I don't think the Great Pyramids were made with bricks, but there are other smaller pyramids that might have been.

Jerusalem was destroyed and plundered by the Romans, did you forget? The Temple was in fact an architectural wonder, as was King Solomon's palace, and his thrown. The one remaining remnant of the Temple, the Western Wall, contains stones too heavy to be lifted by modern cranes - way bigger than the Pyramids.
Joseph was actually the most educated man in Egypt. That's why he was put in charge of Potifar's house, (even though he was a slave) and was later made ruler of Egypt second only to Pharaoh

  • @mebyename
    @mebyename 13 лет назад

@xxdadyzgrl96xx Wow, I didn't think that by saying I am going to celebrate Passover was me claiming to be Jesus or a Jew. Secondly, I celebrated it with feet washing, bread and wine according to a sacred calendar. I don't think you or any other Jewish person celebrates it that way. You have sader plates and grape juice and leave a spot open at the table right? P.S. I never felt animosity to anyone wanting to learn about someone else's faith. Chill out. :)

  • @spelsmak
    @spelsmak 13 лет назад

@mebyename one of many prophets. From a Jewish perspective, Jesus could not have been the messiah for the requirements that he did not fullfill that the torah states he would have. Unfortunately Jewish people had already been suffering for an incredibly long time before Jesus, and this video and the holiday of Passover is celebrating our freedom from Egypt over 3000 years ago. There are Kabbalistic (Jewish mysticism) ideas that try to explain why we have had it so rough, but then again

  • @succmgmt
    @succmgmt 11 лет назад

That is correct. But there's a good chance they were used for other stuff. They were enslaved for a little under 200 years.
Also, the pyramids were used to store the belongings of the Pharaoh who was entombed in it (they believed he would have access to it in the afterlife). One of those Pharaohs was... Ramses (Pitom is a location in Egypt).

    Love the song, great god bless you all;
but please don't talk about the pyramids; you know nothing about it,
the Jews came without any education to Egypt that has big sites, since and engineering.
Egypt was great already before Jews, and your people came to Egypt and they learn from the Egyptian not the other way....
    Read the bible ....
    any way great song....

@ruddeco Thank you. I know that Jews don't see it the way I've been taught, but then I wasn't taught what you were either. I think it's better to know why someone believes in something. @ruddeco Do you mean Matthew, Mark, Luke and John?? You are right about Luke, he studied everyone's accounts and then wrote a summary of all he heard.
