    Can’t wait for the taste test! Thanks for doing these videos. I had been using the Brown function to warm my jars. Not sure which is better, thoughts?

      I don't know that either option matters, end result being the same. If the jars can handle canning, they should be able to handle higher heat for the brown setting

    Getting ready to can my pork. Very interested in what you think of taste, hot pack vs raw pack?

    Why does my Carey canner only count down usually to E 5 then starts the chase then timers starts?

      Mine has done that when I had it on airtight from the beginning- it only counted down to 8 before the timer started. If it's not on airtight already, I'm not sure.
