congratulations Madhuri. Im totally motivated
That's awesome!! All the best :)
Hi Madhuri! I just got Magoosh and am lost on how to approach it. I spent about a week reading through the OG Math Review section for a quick refresher, but now want to do this concept-focused Magoosh approach you did. How would you suggest I choose the questions to solve from Magoosh and OG based on the concepts? Did you solve them all? Did you, for example, review Probability and then filtered Math Magoosh questions for Probability? And for the OG?
That's exactly what I did with Magoosh -- review a concept & filter Magoosh questions for that concept. Only after I was done with all the concepts, I started solving mixed questions from OG. All the best!
Hi Madhuri, thanks for the great video. It's really helpful. I want to know did you take the magoosh mock tests only or some other mocks should be purchased as well?
I went with Manhattan and GMAT prep mocks. Hope this helps 😊
Perfect video to keep yourself pushing ..!
Glad you found this helpful :)
Thank you for this!
This was really so good! Thank you so much.
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Thank you so much Madhuri for this video! I loved your daily schedule, and you convinced me on Magoosh..
I’m so glad to hear that! How is your prep going?
Hi Madhuri,
Great video, very helpful.
I am in middle of preparations and I am almost done with OG quant questions, studied quant with manhattan books material (am not very strong in quant though). I was thinking for a test series and more questions or an online course. Do you have idea about Target Test Prep (TTP) and Magoosh, if yes, which would be better?
What would you suggest the next step be, like an online course or something else?
Hi Jayant -- I haven't heard of TTP but can certainly vouch for Magoosh as it was a central part of my prep. For test series, I would suggest Manhattan mock tests. They are a bit on the tougher side so they prepare you for the real battle.
Glad you found my video helpful. Do subscribe to the channel and connect with me on Instagram. Link can be found in the description box.
Madhuri Varma Thank you!
Have already subscribed. :)
Really to the point video. Good work... 👏👏👏👏
Thank you 🙂
Hi,
Thank you, for this video.
I'm strong on quant side, however equally weak on verbal side.
Is Magoosh a good choice for verbal preparation ?
Yes, absolutely. Additionally, look at Manhattan too.
I wish this was available an year ago. Clear and concise plan. There is a plethora of GMAT prep plans and materials available that complicates a lot.
Hi Nilay -- I'm glad this was helpful to you. All the best with you prep!
Hope you have subscribed to my channel and clicked on the bell icon to be notified of more helpful videos. You can connect with me on Instagram as well: instagram.com/letsbeprostogether
Such a honest video. This video deserved a thumps up. Will see you on LinkedIn as well.
Thanks Shirsh! Please do.
Hello! This video was extremely helpful! I'm hoping to give my gmat exam in November and haven't started preparation yet. My quant scores in mocks are super weak and I don't know if I should opt for coaching classes. Do you think I would require coaching classes or I can handle the course work by perusing the material by myself?
I recommend going with Magoosh to understand concepts and practice questions of all difficulty levels (go via this link imp.i154272.net/DDzMa and use promo code MADHURI for a 10% discount) and with Manhattan for mock test series. If you'd like to discuss anything in detail, please feel free to book a 30-min 1:1 consultation with me here: tiny.cc/madhuri
what about the AWA AND IR sections? are they important or not?
I am Narendra, the new subscriber .you are not only sharing the info regarding a particular topic but also your experience. that's what beauty.
Thank you so much 🙂
Hi Madhuri, thankyou for a really informative video
I have been preparing for GMAT since long but I'm stuck with RC, I did take EGMAT and OG Prep but was less for the score, do you recommend taking Magoosh for the extra edge at the prep
Yes, definitely, go with Magoosh
Hey there! Actually I'm specifically preparing for CR through GMAT club forum, I want to know did you go for the timed approach from the very beginning or you first focused on accuracy and then timed practice since I'm not able to improve my accuracy. Would be helpful if you reply please
Accuracy first, then speed. If you have any other questions or would like to discuss anything about your prep, please write to me on instagram.com/letsbeprostogether/
Really glad to come across your channel! Authentic, first hand experiences and advice is what is missing from everywhere but HERE!! :D
How kind of you, Harshit! Welcome aboard! :)
Apart from the OG,won't the online questions on the gmat site be enough ?
My gmat first attempt is in end of Dec and ISB last date is first week of Jan. Kindly help
Hey Udit -- sorry for the late response! Please let me know if you're still looking for guidance.
awesome video..she is so inspirational..hats off
Thanks!

You’re very welcome, Vivian!
Hi madhuri!
Absolutely amazing and motivating video, just what I was looking for. I'm ready with step 1 & the magoosh prep - but am unable to make a day on day schedule for next two months, could you please help me with it?
Hi Radhika -- absolutely! Please feel free to book a 30-min 1:1 consultation with me here: tiny.cc/madhuri
Thank you madhuri ❤ this plan sounds real. Did you face any issues in exam center such as pen is getting dried multiple times ? Did you practice with such pens ?
You are a real professional.
Hi Madhuri, thanks for sharing ur insights, study plan and the prep material and links.
My question: I wld be starting with my GMAT prep after approximately 14 years of break from studies.
does it make sense to take the practice test with our knowing the concepta?
OR is it wise to 1st get all concepts from magoosh and then take the test to checky level of understanding.?
Hi Siddhesh -- You can take the diagnostic test before you start the prep, although I don't find any sense in it. My recommendation would be to start studying from Magoosh (go via this link imp.i154272.net/DDzMa to see discounted prices and use promo code MADHURI for an additional 10% discount) and then take a test after learning all the concepts to see where you stand. If you'd like to discus anything else in detail, please reach out to me on Instagram (instagram.com/letsbeprostogether/)
Very very motivating. Thanks for this amazing video.
Most welcome 😊
Thanks for this video!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Madhuri,
Thank you so much for the detailed information. Can I know what is the exact thing you said about Manhattan Idioms? Is it a book or any link can you provide?
Manhattan has a book on idioms & phrases. It's available online as paperback and e-book. All the best!
Hi Madhuri, thanks for the motivating video. I am also in same situation, but my preparation is on & off, now deadlines getting closer. I started organizing myself towards the target. One guidance, what are mocks you would suggest i should take for measuring progress.
Thanks

Hii Madhuri,
Those two guides are enough to prepare my Gmat... Mango is and Manhattan guide?
And which test series you were taking?
Thanks for the wonderful video

You’re welcome🙌🏻
Hi Madhuri, .your video was a great inspiration when I was searching for a prep material around last month beginning. signed up for Magoosh premium and its really worth each penny.. Eventhough I feel a bit more to be improved in verbal section. so that I can balance some of the points which I might lose in quants.wat can I do for it?
Hi Hitha -- I'm glad that you found Magoosh helpful. For Verbal, you need to be thorough with the concepts and practice in a targeted manner. For any further queries, feel free to connect with me on Instagram; link is in the description box. Hope you have subscribed to my channel :)

Hey Madhuri ! I'm working part time at Mcdonald's .. just wanted to ask will the experience of mcd
look good on resume/cv while applying for mba?
Why not? When you do something with integrity, it will be appreciated. Be proud of your hard-work!
Hey. A little off topic but would doing am mba be a good way to switch fields ? Looking to getting into supply chain management but have been working in sales mainly. Any input would be appreciated !
Yes, absolutely. A lot of people leverage an MBA degree for function / role switches. All the best!
Thanks Madhuri by seeing this vedio we can motivated
All the best👍
Hi, Can you please share your thoughts on while choosing online study platform did you check EGMAT as well? what's your thoughts on choosing which course is better as there are mixed reviews online for both?
Hi Neha -- I have not heard a single positive experience of egmat from any of my students or mentees (a reasonable sample size). I usually recommend Magoosh (imp.i154272.net/DDzMa) as I had used their platform during my GMAT. I also recommend Crackverbal (gmatonline.crackverbal.com/?affcode=9942_9w5cci2l) as I find their content easy to understand and implement. You can use code MADHURI50 for a $50 discount on any of the courses by Crackverbal. Hope this helps.
I am good at verbal but terrible at quant. What is the best way for quant?
Thank you Ma'am for motivating!
But I would like to know when One should Start GMAT prep especially If I want to pursue MBA In Abroad? Like now I'm in SY. So, When I should start GMAT prep? Like after TY? Or during gaining 1 yr job experience after TY? 🤔
Hi Harish -- it totally depends on your goals and long-term plans. Let's discuss in detail over the consultation call that you have requested for.
Hi @Madhuri, how are kaplan mocks? Also, do you have any coupon code to avail discount on Magoosh course?
Kaplan mocks are not good. Use this link for Magoosh: imp.i154272.net/ORoBkA
Hey can you please tell me that if I want to practise only quant questions and I want them like section wise. Which book to order ?
Hi Tanisha -- you can practice quant from the Official guide and from the "Math + IR" plan of Magoosh. You can sign-up for it here: (imp.i154272.net/DDzMa) If you'd like to discuss your study plan or other points in detail, please write to me here: madhurivarma.wordpress.com/contact-madhuri/
Is it advisable to join any coaching class for preparing gmat. I have prepared for CAT in the past
Hey thanks for the info. I have a question, i hope you'll answer for it. This coming August I'll be completing my Bcom degree. So after that I've decided to move to USA for masters. Not an MBA degree now but a different master's degree like MS in Finance or Supply chain management as for MBA i need some work experience which I don't have. So for that should I give GMAT or GRE ? Pls help. And for MBA I'll be doing mba in later of life.
GRE / GMAT is a decision you need to take based on what your target college(s) accepts. All the best!
bro if we prepare quant for CAT, can I directly write quant for GMAT or should I prepare separately? If so what's the difference?
Explanation is very motivational 😊
Thanks a lot 😊
Thanku respected mam for this valuable video😇😃
You're welcome Yogita :)
hello mam, thank you for such motivational video, i am planning for GMAT, so can you please help me with best offline material and online platform to give mock test
very informative and helpful
Glad to hear that, Virendra!

Hi Madhuri,
I am confused between Magoosh Premium and Crackverbal online course.
Could you pls suggest which one would be a better option. I am a beginner and will be taking Gmat for the first time.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Manali -- please connect with me on Instagram for a discussion on this (instagram.com/letsbeprostogether)
Hi madhuri
how many months of preparation required for gmat ,if your are not good at quant , verbal and reasoning?
Where do you get so many mocks to practice?
Hey madhuri!
Do we have to pay the fee whenever we want to write the exam?
Hi madam,
After GMAT whether to take 2 yr MBA or 1 yr MBA and also whether any worn experience needed to get shortlisted in international b schools
How different is gmat from cat ? If someone has prepared for cat, will his/her preparation be enough for the gmat?
This video should help you out with details of CAT & GMAT. ruclips.net/video/o4k4hJcaZRU/видео.html. Hope you have subscribed to my channel.
Hi Madhuri,
I get that you bought the Magoosh Premiuim. But for Manhattan which books did you use?

Hi Madhuri, thank you for GMAT informative videos. I am in such situation where I spent six months of my preparation and currently facing difficulties on my mock may be something illogical sense I failed in mocks. I have taken crackverbal online course but that was not helping me , don't know why.

Hi Somnath - please text me on Instagram at instagram.com/letsbeprostogether I’ll first understand the cause of your concern and then recommend relevant agenda for our 1:1 consultation.
Can u let me know from where do v get questions topic wise? In quant official guide I find questions from all t topic mixed up
Official guide doesn't have topic-wise segregation. You can look up questions on GMAT club; they allow filtering questions via topics. All the best with your prep!
Awesome video! Which mocks did u use for prac?
Thanks Rutuja! I used Manhattan & official mocks. In the initial days, I also used a lot of free mock tests available online -- a quick google search will list out many for you to choose from. All the best!

Do you have any opinion about e-gmat and CJ classes for gmat? I prepared from manya and didn’t end up w the score I wanted. Have been feeling a lil defeated and planning to invest in these platforms if you have any opinion about them please lmk.

Hi AJ -- I don’t recommend e-gmat at all! Along with the Official guide (for practicing questions), I usually recommend Magoosh (imp.i154272.net/DDzMa) as I had used their platform during my GMAT for learning concepts that are tested on the GMAT.
