That is such an amazing idea not only are you helping the environment but I feel as a consumer when I buy something from someone I don't just want to buy something because it's mainstream I want to feel the soul and the places of where you guys visited and I love the idea of this I feel like I'm going to be getting a part of you with me every time I burn the candle and what's so cool about the fact that you're doing this is that when the candles are completely burnt out I can reuse the class for something else so the cycle keeps going on
Two minute videos plus the regular video? Yay. The two minute video is a great idea. What puts your video head and shoulders above so many others is that you are always positive and up beat on screen. You dont whine and moan for a whole video when things go wrong. You may mention it but then it is on with the good side of things. Thanks. Oh yea - Happy Birthday Kaylee
Kaylee you never cease to amaze me, I just went to your site, but the wine candles are sold out!!! I will keep checking, this is a great gift idea!!!!!
Wow! Trash into candles. Great effing idea, guys. I know you'll do well with it. Congrats! Oh, and with the new 2 minute topic thing ...2 minutes just isn't enough time with you guys. I would be wanting more! :)
What a fantastic idea with the trash bottle candles. You are so innovative. Whatever your topic is I will be here watching your videos. Love you both sooooo much
Happy Birthday Kaylee!! I know what you mean by the way some people treat places from the beaches to the mountains. I and friends of mine have always had this rule when camping or anywhere we are, "leave it better than you found it". I love the candle idea and will be ordering some, I promise. But I have to wait , I kinda over indulged Xmas shopping, but next week by this time you will see an order from me. I even have a post it note on my puter to remind me. Cheers to you both and may each day be a beautiful adventure filled with many blessings.
Hope you had a wonderful birthday Kaylee! Love the 2 minute Tuesday idea because there are a lot of little things to consider that people aren’t even aware of when converting buses to tiny homes! Love you two so much!! Stay safe.
Just became a subscriber. Your videos are awesome. My wife and I are retired and own a travel trailer. Love what your doing at your young age where you can really in joy the outdoors. See you on the road.
Awesome videos guys and Happy birthday.. I sold my DIY camper van last June and am waiting for delivery of a 2018 MB 4x4 sprinter in feb. Will hopefully be finished for a september trip out to Utah.. I saw on one of your early vids you were parked at Hull gut on a voyage tour. My home town.... Seriously love your videos and keep on rocking the van life... Peace out. Paul
Hey guys, I discovered your channel today, it's been really cool to watch it! Awesome idea to recycle, I'm sure this will open to more things to do with all this trash in the camping sites. I would love to see more tips about van life and video making, even if doesn't last only 2 min! Keep going this great work, cheers from Brazil!
Be careful melting the wax, do it outside, it can burst into flames like a grease fire. My uncle burnt down part of his house making sand candles not far from where you started this video years ago back in the 70s. He had been making sand candles for a couple of years before the fire.
What an inspiring video!! Love it, the new business and two minute talk idea, personally for me as a viewer this will certainly be valuable content to watch on a regular basis, thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. Love your channel. You two seem so happy, and are perfect for each other. Keep up the amazing work you do - it holds so much integrity 👏😀💕 Not too long till I myself will be trying this way of living, I very much look forward to it. Best of luck 🤞✌
Love the candles idea. Will it be enough income to pay the bills? I see so many "van life" videos where they say "Oh yeah, I'm an seo web brand coder marketing analyst blah blah and I make about $4,000 a month..." I (with a pre-law degree, so essentially useless) want to see folks making it without all the high tech employment. I'm thinking of a small toy hauler trailer, so the back end can be used as a shop - silk screen, jewelry making, etc. Oh, and another down side to big/long vehicles - Independence Pass, Colorado. PS, there's a pretty cool farmer's market in Aspen in the summer...
Love love these videos you guys make! Happy birthday by the way! I want to day not all public land is this way, I live in North Idaho close to Canada and I find very little areas that are trash. Maybe we just take better care here. I'm not sure, but the public land up here is beautiful! Few more things I would like to plug in about buying a vehicle to live in (coming from 3 Toyota motorhomes, a ford bronco, a 40ft 1999 RE International, a regular conversion van, and currently a 25ft 7.3 shuttle bus). When I got my first conversion project (40ft bus) The one thing I didn't consider being a shorter person was overall ceiling height. A lot of people I talk to overlook it. It's important to take the factory height then subtract the amount of space you plan to take with insulation, floors, and ceiling. This was a huge game changer with my bus only having a 6ft 1in overall height. After insulation and flooring it brought it to just over my head which made me feel crammed. Another thing to think about is if you are buying a bus, van, any sort, if it came from a dealer or right from the company, see if you can get service records. This was really helpful with the resale of my 40ft because I went through the records finding the engine had been completely replaced with a new one and the trans was rebuilt with only 70k on it. Very useful info can come out of just getting service records. (Mostly For school busses) I worked as a Diesel Technician for my local school district for a little bit and I seen how they truly get treated (hints gaining service records). A lot of these busses will go through most of its life with a lot of stop and go. So finding a trip bus (for sports evens n such) can give the change of having a more reliable bus for longer miles. Countless times I seen a bus fail and would need to be traded in for a new one the following year because of lead foot drivers. Also, a lot of full size diesel school busses don't use a larger diesel engine that can handle 500 plus thousand miles. There are a few which are notorious for great reliability, but most of them just can't handle 30,000lbs 5 days a week for 15-20 years. It wears things out to the point a lot of busses only had 200k by the time they were done. Those are just some of my personal finds working on them for a living. Moving to the van. Don't be afraid of a van that's cheap. I got my dodge B250 for $900 and put 12k on it just this summer in road trips and it's still very capable. Not every case is like this, but you can truly spend less on the vehicle and that savings can go for a much more memorable adventure! I'll cut it off there. There's a ton of things to look into when getting a vehicle to live in. Just thought I'd share a few more for viewers! Keep up the good work!
Curious - know it's been years, but how did it go with the recycle candles? Did you sell many of them? I've always been very interested in upcycling and zero was products. I really appreciate the care you were taking of the public lands.
Just placed my order. I thought the wine bottle and beer bottle is a perfect gift (with meaning) for a wine loving lady and a beer loving guy! Cross that couple off my list! ✔️ 😉. I hope my note has a muddy pawtograph on it. Heehee! 💛
Pure genius! Nice work on starting your own traveling business, you can literally do that anywhere. Enjoyed the "2 minute" van life. You guys bring something totally different into travel vlogging and it's entertaining. Nice work. You have found your niche ;)
You know someone will request a candle and a full beer bottle of her majesty toilet water. Have you priced that yet. Your last video comments had me laughing all night with all the sick puppies on it. Great idea on the candles. "W.W."
you guys are my new favorites. thanks for your contribution on whatever scale. Im your new fan. Love your mindsets. (by the way. . . Episode 17. . . Freekin hilarious) Keep it up. Cheers :)
Happy belated birthday Kaylee and many more....when you started talking about making candles out of trash I frowned but when I saw the process and finished results...I’m excited can’t wait to buy one. Great job!!!!! From Houston Texas
Oh two are awesome with what you think up to help others. It’s great. Actually Bergomot is pronounced Bergomo. Just drop the T. I love that scent. And Ha I love the way you said “a bathtub” such a luxury! I don’t know if yo checked on your dates bbut I heard the other day that anything shipped by the 16th will make it guaranteed by Christmas according to UPS and I do’t know what it is for USPS. But at Christmas it changes. You may have already checked but I just wanted to mention it.
I liked the dual topics and it may be a good idea to have viewers and subscribers tell you where there are good farmers markets and hint hint... Festivals!! I think it would be nice to hear about the dynamic of your relationship from time to time 😉 Happy Birthday K!! 🍻🎂🍾
Just received 2 of your candles today. We bought them for a present for a family member as a Christmas gift. I am sure she is going to love the smell of them. They smell terrific. We were most excited about the story of where they came from being included with the candles. Unfortunately it was not. There was a nice note saying Merry Christmas. It was the story of who made them and where they came from that we wanted to share.
I have been following you for a while. Always good videos. Informative and fun. The two of you seem to be a good fit. Keep on letting the rubber hit the pavement. Candles are a great ideal also. Have to recycle and protect the environment.
I make our candles too:) However, I love what you two are doing for humanity and our earth❤️. I'm purchasing some candle s in support of your passion towards making this world a better place.
I have enjoyed seeing your curiosity at play. Trying new things and making it work. It makes your videos varied and interesting. I also like that you are finding ways to leverage the community you are developing. You may want to cheat a bit in finding the wine bottles because I think they will be a prime seller. I was looking and they were sold out. Thank you for creating and sharing. Happy Birthday!
Hi guys. Love your videos, and your ethos. Also like the idea of explaining the reality of bus life. We also like help the homeless and sponsor a charity here in the UK. Best wishes.
I have to have a bottle now. And vegan to. Awesome. Great topic about the type of vehicle. I am just now learning how to drive my bus, kinda scary but I'll get used to it.
Love it! Would you do a video on how to make pets feel at home and stimulated in a small space? I have a cat and am renovating my travel trailer so I am thinking of ways to make the space fun and comfortable for her.
great idea guys, great tie in with your travel and camping and all. and thank you for cleaning up! Just a thought, you might find some twine, or even hemp twine instead of the leather tie's to hold the top on. (with the whole vegan lifestyle)
I definitely like the subject(s) of this video. Thanks for the info. Also I'd be interested in learning how to keep it together with your partner while traveling, Kaylee was right when she said that you guys are perfect. 😜
Like the candles - fits you mission of leaving a place better than you found it. I like the two minute video - tired of the travel logs that you see in most of the videos
I was wondering how y'all were going to make plastic bag, plastic bottle and candy wrappers candles, lol. But those look kool and definitely helps. I really enjoy y'all's videos, take care and YHVH bless.
AWESOME!!!!! You two rock!! Show the real world and people realize there is still change to be created. Love the beautiful, but also nice to see the other side!! Take it from someone who has been there, keep it simple too many choices overwhelm people and then they can't make that instant decision to buy. Looking forward to your candles!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🎉🎁🎂 I hope you had a great one! Have you guys have had issues parking overnight in cities with your short bus? Also, the candles are a great idea! 👍

I like the smaller van conversion, but definitely feel I would need a little more room/bigger bus with a shower and toilet ... then I could live in it forever.
If you go on ebay you can melt aluminum cans, also if you heat HDPE, milk bottles to 400 F or so you can make objects out of them. You probably could make dressers. Be careful though very dangerous.
LOVE the candles idea. What a great way to recycle something that could be seen as ugly into something beautiful!!

Shane Shelley ah so sorry about that! We changed our typical note to what you wrote as the gift message. Anything we can do to fix this?
I have been following you for a while. Always good videos. Informative and fun. The two of you seem to be a good fit. Keep on letting the rubber hit the pavement. Candles are a great ideal also. Have to recycle and protect the environment.
Pour a glass of wine, like the video before watching.....now lets begin!!!
Nope.....just like good people in this world......simple as that.

Channel, video making and have you met a like minded single man looking for a slightly kookie woman?
First off, Love you guys! Y’all are awesome and inspirational!!
How do y’all fare without a toilet and shower though?? I’ve been super curious about that one. I like the smaller van conversion, but definitely feel I would need a little more room/bigger bus with a shower and toilet ... then I could live in it forever.
You two are so cool...LOL. I Love the new idea and ingredients. Rawk On >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Super idea, love it! How do you guys feel about your choice of a 4 window bus? Pros and Cons?
Great idea - love the videos.
If you go on ebay you can melt aluminum cans, also if you heat HDPE, milk bottles to 400 F or so you can make objects out of them. You probably could make dressers. Be careful though very dangerous.
You guys should write a book about your lifestyle! I'd buy it.
Happy Birthday , Enjoy your videos , Cheers
Nice! And then the tops can be used as shanks for self defense!
I love that they are vegan and from glass trash!
Happy Birthday 🎁🎂
I like the new video Idea... Go for it...
Thats awesome!!! Nice Work!!
