    Nice vid! Was looking for reviews of a lifted CRV with G003’s and you did not disappoint here. I have a Gen 2 on 2” lift, 2” wheel spacers, and G003 225/75/16. Also glad to know I’m not the only one with 2” wheel spacers. Thanks for the vid!

    Good content and review on the M/T's, I'm currently on the Yoko Geo A/T's 225/70/15 and they're great on snow too but one thing that scared the f out of me was when I was crossing a bridge that had ice chunks w/ a turn going about 70mph I literally thought I was going to lose it all.. Until I hit a 6-8" dry patch and got it jerked back.

      @@oscardlr4284 new stock quick struts all around with 15x7 xj rims, I believe 225/70 is the max you could go without any additional modifications period (lift or trimming) no rubbing at all and no wobbles, I even took my rd1 with this setup on a dirt bike track jeep trail in central Iowa and kept up with new Rubicons lol

    It's deeper on the Bridge because when the snow first Falls the thermal warmth of the ground melted before it starts to pile up when the bridge doesn't have that going on, just wanted to point that out LOL you know, like a nerd. And she is so cute falling asleep so fast

  • @thefun-v2466
    @thefun-v2466 3 года назад +2

    cool vid man. yeah the narrower profile helps the tire cut into the snow better than a wider profile which would float on top more. Narrower tires are better for mud and snow, wider tires are better for sand and rock crawling. CRV's aren't very heavy like 31-3200lbs so you don't really need much more than 215 width for a daily, yeah some people do more but it's more for looks than function.

    • @VlogsByWes
      @VlogsByWes  3 года назад

      Yep thats the truth..

    • @chrisking6695
      @chrisking6695 4 месяца назад

      Makes little sense to me because when snow is deep you want to float on top and pack the snow. Snow grips to snow. For an MT tire you need very narrow channels to pack snow. Most MTs have wide channels to clear the mud.
